We loved our stay at the Gel'n condo. It was exactly as described but even better. Valerie has furnished the condo with everything you could need and not even realize that you needed. The oceanfront location was amazing and we saw lots of turtles, there was even one that came to visit on the beach. It is a great location and a tranquil setting. Valerie was very quick in responding with any questions and accommodating to our needs. We hope to visit again soon.

The Hale Mahina is the only place I stay. This was my first stay at Valerie’s place and it won’t be my last. The place is well stocked, including the beach gear. The condo lives up to its “”Gel’n” name. I left all my stress at the front door. Mahalo, Erica

The condo and property are real jewels. The condo is modern and well appointed. Valerie is a wonderful host and has gone the extra mile in providing copious amenities like beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, boogie boards, and more. The condo is nicely situated with a great view and close to the elevator. The grounds are well kept and the beach is lovely. The small size and quiet but friendly nature of the resort is a welcome break from the chaos of most large resorts. I highly recommend it.

Our stay at Hale Mahina was rejuvenating in every way. Wish we could have stayed a month! We felt the Aloha when we walked in the door. Valerie is an attentive communicative host who has thought of everything to make the condo a comfortable space. The soothing ocean, soft beach sand, beautiful views and sea turtles
made our time most memorable. Larry, the resident manager is a personable hard working man who takes pride in caring for the lush gardens and pool area.

We stay at Hale Mahina at least once a year sometimes twice since 2010. It’s still as charming, quiet and relaxing as always. The manager does an amazing job keeping the grounds maintained and it’s just beautiful. This condo did not disappoint! We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning soon!

We had an amazing vacation and stayed two weeks in the GEL’N condo. Valerie was fantastic to work with and despite a couple unforeseen hiccups it was absolutely GREAT! She is quick to respond and fix anything needed to make your vacation relaxing and enjoyable.
The condo was clean and well equipped from the kitchen to the chest on the lanai full of beach equipment. The unit has plenty of fans and the only thing missing that would be nice is a screen door in order to get a cross breeze, especially in the summer months. We cooked most meals in the condo and used the outdoor BBQ’s which is a great amenity you don’t get in a hotel. The view from the lanai is gorgeous and the sunsets are breathtaking! There are sea turtles that beach right in front of the property and swim right past you when you are wading in the ocean. The snorkeling in this area is fantastic too. We have booked our two-week stay in Valerie’s little piece of paradise for 2023 and can not wait to return to make more lasting memories.

Wonderful unit. Sitting in the morning drinking coffee and watching the water was just what we needed. Everyone was so nice. Pool was wonderful. Very relaxing, with turtles who visit on the beach. Owner is very good with commutations and wants you to enjoy your visit. Love this place. Even saw a rainbow.

Amazing place with great Lanai that is right on the ocean. Small complex makes for quiet property and easy access to pool, lawn and water. Minimal beach but enough to allow access to the ocean. Owner is extremely delightful and accommodating, providing everything from snorkeling equip to coolers, chairs and umbrella. Highly recommend.

Valerie was THE BEST to interact with, and everything is exactly as stated. Place has everything you need to snorkel, relax, location, watch wildlife, at least 30 different colored hibiscus plants in bloom, and especially the amazing turtles that come into the beach. Each afternoon we had three that were in around 3-4pm and stayed at least until we went to bed. We look forward to returning again some day.

If you need a stereotypical resort for your needs, this isn't the place for you. There's no lazy river, no swim up bar, no room service or concierge. This place is for self sufficiency, peace and quiet. I could feel the ocean breeze 24/7. Hear and see the ocean from my room. Beach is approximatelt 75 ft from room. Where else can you get that? Resorts. If they even have a beach, will be a 15 minute walk. Parking, here is free, which at a resort will cost you $40 per night. Cooked my own breakfast and lunch which saved lots of money. Dining out can cost $40 for 2 and thats a cheap meal. High end runs $150 per couple. Host had plenty of extras in the room. Snorkels, flippers, boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels even a portable Bluetooth speaker for use. The wife and I loved this place. Wish we could come back sooner and if/when we return, this is where we'd like to stay.

Thank you Valerie for sharing your condo with us. Walking into the unit and seeing the view was breathtaking! Sitting on the lanai watching the sunsets and listening to the waves crash , is like being in paradise. The sea turtles were amazing to see as well. The unit is clean and has all the amenities you would need to enjoy a nice vacation. The view is spectacular and the beach is mere steps away. Communication with the owner was easy. Valerie is a great host and I highly recommend staying here.

This property was exactly as described. It was extremely clean and well maintained. Everything and more was provided for us. The ocean was approximately 50 yards away from our balcony! As promised, turtles showed up daily on the beach--one day a sea lion showed up! Just wonderful!

We stayed for16 days in January, this was our 2nd time staying at Hale Mahina but first time in building A. This property has everything. It's clean, kitchen is well equipped, awesome turtle filled beach, great views, there is even binoculars to help you see the whale if they are too far off shore. Lots of parking and well kept grounds. Check in and out was super easy and Valerie was a great communicator. Mahalo

This 1 bedroom condo was perfect for a couples getaway! The condo itself was nicely updated and maintained and the perfect size for the 2 of us. We so enjoyed the beautiful view of the beach and ocean from the lanai. We spent many days enjoying private access beach. There were turtles galore swimming out front if you're up for a snorkel, as well as one or two sunning themselves on the beach throughout our trip. The condo was conveniently located with easy access to Kaanapali beach and Lahaina. Valerie was very attentive and responsive to our requests and questions. We just loved our stay, and hope to return again soon!

This is our 3rd time at Hale Mahina and will not be our last! Hands down best kept secret. Will never stay at a resort again. Entering the condo you are greeted with the most amazing ocean view from the front door, that literally makes you say ... "oh wow" Just wait til you get to the lanai! Grounds are immaculate, your own private beach, ocean literally just yards from the lanai. When we weren’t in the ocean as the sun was starting to set, we were enjoying cocktails on the lanai watching the sunset. Oh and turtles daily! Swimming by or beaching themselves on the beach daily. Rainbows practically every day and I watched 2 falling stars on different nights while stargazing relaxing with a glass wine from the lanai … cannot beat that!
Valerie provides a super clean, comfortable, relaxing condo, we seriously did not want to leave lol. She had everything we needed and then some, beach towels, chest full of beach gear from beach chairs to noodles, snorkel gear, floaties and so much more. A very well stocked kitchen we used daily. Check in/out was a breeze, very responsive a great host. Valerie thank you so much for sharing your condo, we would not hesitate to stay in here again, we are still missing it!
