This location was perfect for navigating to and from the island beaches, food and shopping. A cute little home on a good size lot. My family and i truly enjoyed working with the property manager and the stay was much needed.

All kitchen ware available. No need to buy anything for washroom. Overall a little bit wet feeling for people from dry climate area. If there's exhaust fan for washroom would be better.

The Property owner/host, Thom is a phenomenal communicator and makes you feel at home right away. He helps with anything you need, from finding the best bike shop, to what restaurants to visit while driving around the island.

We enjoyed staying in this home with our 3 children. There was lots of room for all of us and the kitchen was well stocked with lots of cooking utensils, salad spinner, etc. We understand that the area is very humid and therefore it is difficult to keep homes clean, although deep cleaning is definitely needed at this home. The kitchen cupboards are pretty dirty and the washing machine smells of mold. A great stay but room for improvement!

This house was perfect for our family of 6. It was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Our children enjoyed sleeping in separate rooms and they loved the huge yard. If you’re in Hilo with your family we’d definitely recommend this property!!!

As a professional cleaning service owner, upon check in - it was definitely not up to standard. Sadly, in order to enjoy our stay we had to clean the entire house, again. It is highly suggested you reevaluate your housekeeper. This beautiful home deserves a deep clean, and some restocking of items. I hope you find our feedback useful. Mahalo!

Easy access, great communication with property manager. The home is fully equipped for a light stay or if you plan on cooking all your meals in and doing a beach style stay.

We got in early and the house was available for us, it was bringing a lot of memories back for us, we’re originally from Hilo house lot area. The house was very clean and the neighborhood is in an area to get around very easily. We’ll be coming back around March 2023, and hopefully the property will be available.

Went on a family trip. Visiting family and friends from mt view to paradise Park to paipaiko. The location for this was perfect, right in the middle. Living in hilo many years ago made it easy to navigate the triangle. The house was easy to find and easy to get back on the road for adventures.

The property is well kept and clean and it met our needs for the weekend. Thom was excellent. Only drawback the greenery needs to be cut back a little more on the right side. It is hard to see oncoming traffic when coming out of driveway. Other than that we enjoyed our stay here very much.

The only problem I had is that I wasn’t aware that the shower in the house wasn’t working only the shower outside by the laundry room. Over all everything was fine and expected had no other problems.

The location of the property near the U of Hawaii was near all the conveniences, including a big grocery store and a short distance away from Liliuokalani Park which we was our "rave" (inside joke) spot every morning to start our day. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the conveniences which included a rice cooker (a must for some of us!). Thom the property manager was thoughtful, prompt, and went above and beyond to make sure that everything was in order and even provided us with brand new beach chairs in response to our question if the property had some beach chairs we could use. Also, having two separate bathrooms was a plus! As city folks, we weren't quite used to chickens/roosters screeching starting at 1:15 a.m., but eventually got used to them and wasn't a big problem. But, if you are a light sleeper, use the ear plugs that were provided.

We absolutely loved this place! The host was wonderful and kept in touch if we needed anything. Property is beautiful, clean, and has everything you need. Close to all Hilo entertainment and dinning options and plenty of parking for two/three cars. Large backyard, with grill and fruit trees. Thank you so much for sharing with us. We will be returning!

It was the perfect place. My daughter is attending UHH and it was literally down the street from the house. The house is conveniently located to a lot of the food hot spots and very close the the KTA grocery store. The owner is very accommodating and would always check up on us via text if we needed anything and to text him if there are any issues. He has such a big heart that he mentioned before we left not to throw any food because he feeds the homeless. I made spaghetti the other night and made too much. I too hate throwing food away and knowing that he was going to give it to the homeless just made our stay even more special.

The manager of the property (Thom) was extremely responsive and helpful during our stay. The property is centrally located for trips to Hilo, Volcanic National Park and Mauna Kea.
