I stayed here over the Christmas/New Years holiday with my grown children and my grandchildren. Such a beautiful well appointed house in a fantastic area, and a beautiful beach club. They even had a Christmas tree up which we very much appreciated! Everything you could need was provided, from beach gear, bikes and kitchen equipment, the pool and hot tub were perfect and access to a gym was awesome. I highly recommend this property and I have rented houses in many areas and this was my favorite!

The grandkids loved the pool and community pool. The Mauna Lani beach club snorkeling was awesome. The kids all saw sea turtles, lots of different fish and eels right off the beach. The house was very well stocked with beach toys, snorkeling equipment, bikes, coffee supplies and spices, etc. very open floor plan for family. Would definitely recommend it to others.

Property is beautiful and very well stocked for guests. Owner and Agent very responsive. Bikes, beach toys, beach chairs etc all provided. One thing to note is there is a fair amount of construction on the street. Wasn't noisy and didn't disturb us but wish we had been aware.

We recently had the absolute pleasure of staying at this remarkable property, and all I can say is that it surpassed our highest expectations! As a family, we found everything we needed and more in this gem of a home.
The pool and spa became our haven of relaxation, perfectly timed for the little ones' naps and for our enchanting night swims under the stars. It's hard to describe the peace that washes over you in these moments.
Location-wise, this home is a jackpot. Nestled within proximity to stunning beaches, we found ourselves immersed in the beauty of the local coastlines. The bonus? Included beach access passes to the exquisite Mauna Lani Beach Club, saving us from the hassle of procuring our own.
One of the things that stood out the most was the genuine help we received from the property owner, James. From our first interaction, he went above and beyond to accommodate our family's unique needs. Traveling with little ones can be a challenge, but James made it seem effortless.
The house itself is an embodiment of modern elegance, cleanliness, and comfort. The pictures, while beautiful, simply don't do it justice. Upon setting foot on the property, you are greeted by an atmosphere that immediately reminds you of a tropical island - your very own secluded paradise.

Huge 3BR, 3 full bathroom home with all of the best amenities. There is an office with a Murphy bed that can create a 4th BR (connected to the 3rd bathroom). One of the bedrooms is attached to the home but only accessible from outside, which is great for couples/others who want some privacy. Very clean heated and lighted pool and spa onsite, but walking distance to larger community pool, beaches, and more (grocery store less than a mile away). They provide 4 really nice bikes (and helmets) for use, and have a high quality propane gas grill for cookouts at home. With lights out, there's a perfect sky for stargazing. There's golf just down the road, and the nice breeze will keep you comfortable. The hidden parts are that the sheets, towels, toiletries (they provide bath gel, lotion, shampoo, and conditioner) are all high quality and extremely clean. The property manager Lisette is very attentive and checking in and out is as easy as it comes. We never had any issues during our 7 day stay. Take your family to this home and you won't be disappointed; worth every $.

We have stayed at many upper end properties over the past decade and this is by far the best. The location is great and the amenities are fabulous. We are sad to go home and wish we could stay much longer.

My family and I stayed at this gorgeous house during our week long trip to the Big Island. The home is STUNNING! It felt like we were living in a magazine. We loved relaxing in the pool and taking walks everyday to the ocean. The owners are so kind and even share some amenities to make your stay even more awesome, such as beach chairs, snorkel gear, bikes. Another fun touch was Sonos speakers throughout the house. We all agreed this was the best vacation home we’ve ever stayed at! We hope to be back again one day! :)

After a few minor issues were promptly straightened out, everything was terrific! The house is well located, unbelievably stocked with paper products, toiletries, kitchen and laundry needs. The bikes are for taller people so we were unable to use them, no big deal. The beds were extremely comfortable and after a lesson from Lissette (who was terrific) we were able to operate the tv. The only downside of the small development was that it was fairly new and there will be construction going on for a while. The flip side, the house was newer than most rentals you’ll find. Great stay with kids and parents. Location is walking distance to market and the newly renovated Auberge Mauna Lani. I would recommend a golf cart for 6 to make evening sunset drives easier and for a better experience to compliment a rental car. Easy access to resort restaurants and beach chairs but secure them before 9 am or use the beach chairs provided. The pool and hot tub were key features to bridge the beach and sunset. We would return and stay here again.

This house is absolutely amazing. Attention to detail everywhere you look. The bedrooms are thoughtfully decorated, comfortable beds, cozy chairs, and en-suite bathrooms for each room. The pool and spa are a quiet oasis to relax and reflect. The kitchen has everything you need and we’ll stocked with any kitchen gadget you may need to use to prepare a home cooked meal. Nohea is a great location within Mauna Lani, and a development with only a few homes. Great place to stay with family. Look forward to coming back.

The communication with the host and their property manager is easy and prompt. Also the host has done a great job with their personal guide to the home , the area , and the big island. Lots of good advice on where to eat, where to go and how to best navigate the Kona airport. Highly recommend.

Our stay in Jo and James's home was great! The house is quite spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary cooking utensils, pots, and pans. There were also plenty of beach towels, chairs, bikes, and other ammenities. The house was clean and comfortable, and we really enjoyed our stay. They even generously compensated us for a broken A/C unit, which they had temporarily replaced with a portable one. We would definitely recommend this property to others and would stay here again on our next trip to Hawaii! Thanks Jo and James!

My family and I were thrilled to stay in this gorgeous home right within the Mauna Lani resort complex. The house itself is newly and tastefully appointed—it really is a catalogue-like home with tasteful design elements throughout. The kitchen had everything we needed in terms of gadgets and tools, and a wonderful space for us to dine at home, both indoors and outdoors.
The grounds are truly a tropical paradise, immaculately maintained, and the pool is comfortably heated. The hosts had everything we needed for trips to the beach and to take advantage of the Mauna Lani beach club amenities. The property manager was kind and responsive, even helping to stock groceries for us before our arrival!
While pricey, this home is a much better value than staying at one of the nearby mega resorts in a suite. A truly great option for multiple couples or larger families to spread out and relax! You won’t be disappointed!

We have all visited Hawai’i many times and this experience was one of our best. Staying in Nohea in this lovely home was a wonderful experience. The house itself is beautiful and both the owners and the property manager were great to work with.
We enjoyed time at the house and the beach club and the location was great for day trips across the island. We have already recommended the property to friends and look forward to coming back.

This home is amazing -- spacious, well equipped, private, luxurious. Each of the three bedroom suites is beautiful, welcoming, clean and comfortable. The house has a lot of room to spread out and to have personal space. We ate most of our meals at home and enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen, and the indoor and outdoor tables. We used the hot tub almost every evening. And the outdoor shower was delightful. We did star gazing from the lanai (central courtyard) on several evenings before the moon rose and the star viewing was simply fantastic - especially from the comfort of the outdoor furniture. We had a great stay.
The owners and the local house manager were great, very responsive to questions or minor things we needed help with.
Overall the location is terrific - close to great beaches and excellent restaurants and a full grocery store. It is a bit of a walk to the beach (at least 15 minutes to the Mauna Lani "beach club", shorter to the Auberge hotel’s beach), but our family enjoys walking and the "commute" is pleasant. It’s a quick (approx. 5 minute) drive to several great swimming/hangout beaches and an easy drive to deservedly famous Hapuna Beach. We went to the beach every day and got in some tremendous snorkeling and swimming. We also enjoyed the shoreline hike to the petroglyph park. The high quality bikes were a nice treat!
A couple of things to note: The house is not oriented toward the west, and has only garden views, so if you have a vision of sitting on the lanai and seeing big sunsets or the ocean without leaving the house, this place is not for you. Also, while there is a lovely workspace in the separate TV room (that has its own retractable bed), that room has an open ceiling that is shared with the great room, so it’s not private in terms of sound. There are private quarters for six (three en suite bedrooms) with the additional mixed-use/TV room less than ideal for a person or couple seeking quiet or privacy.
Because the development is still relatively new, there are no houses on either side, making it feel especially private, though there was sometimes daytime construction activity and noise from down the street. And if you like sleeping with the windows open, be prepared to possibly close them up in case the landscapers from the nearby golf course or resort start up their engines in the wee early hours. (Not an issue with the AC on or windows closed.)

This property was fantastic. It's located in a new development and exceeded our expectations. We were the first to rent the home and it felt like it was brand new. The rooms are large and we loved the layout. The home is shaped like a U with large sliding glass doors that open out to the pool positioned in the middle. The Sonos sound system was great and there were beach chairs, beach umbrellas, boogie boards, and beach paddle ball racquets available to use. Everything was brand new and super clean. There was only one TV in the home which was located in the office / 4th bedroom, but we really liked this so our kids didn't disappear to go watch TV. It allowed us to spend time together playing games and then watch a movie together as a family each night. We would absolutely stay at this property again.
