We (5 adults, 2 kids) were vacationing on Kauai to celebrate a high school graduation and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The house is on a quiet cul-de-sac and was more than fully equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our entire vacation. From boogie boards and beach gear to a dry bag for our kayak day, we were very impressed with how well stocked this home was. The loft area was perfect for our two boys to have their own space and having a king bed in all three rooms was fantastic. I can’t say enough about how great the host was as well. She was very responsive, and when an unexpected issue came up she was so helpful in getting it all figured out. This home was a great place for our family to spend time cooking, playing ping pong in the garage and relaxing when we weren’t out exploring. We would definitely recommend.

This lovely house was great for our family of 8. Well appointed kitchen was great for cooking though I’m always puzzled by places that sleep 8 but only have 6 chairs for dining. The loft and garage gave extra room for the two 5 year olds to play. Lovely place to stay

Everything we needed and more! Quiet and beautiful location. Great host who responded quickly to any questions. Things available at the time we went that we used: bikes, Snorkel equipment, outdoor porch furniture, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach towels, blender, toaster, rice cooker, great pans (cast iron, stainless steel and nonstick), iron and ironing board, blow dryer, flat iron, magnifying mirror, foosball table, puzzles and games. Also available at the time we went but didn't use: portacribs, high chair, air mattress and pump, and crockpot.

Absolutely stunning location. Only Seconds before you get to see amazing views of the mountains, and it’s located very close to queens bath.
House could use a good deep clean and some basic maintenance. Wine fridge don’t work and the microwave didn’t have a tray. Had issues with lots of ants when we were there as well in the main bathroom. Outside of that, home was way more spacious than I had anticipated, beds were decent for being a rental and then kitchen was very large. Accommodated a couple people in the kitchen cooking at one time just fine.
Overall would I recommend staying here and I would stay there again!

The location was fantastic in a homely neighborhood, easy access to beach, reasturants with minutes drive. The house was clean, very well equipped for a family with young kids. Catherine was super friendly for neighborhood suggestions and very prompt in helping with our requests. The entrance lotus png with purple lotus was so pretty, well maintained house, good ventilation too. Overall our family enjoyed the stay at this house.

This was a wonderful home. We loved the Large kitchen and really appreciated the beach toys and bikes that was there for us to use. She was very helpful with questions. It was a little warm at night, but it helped to shower before bed and point the fan at our faces.

Nice house and we enjoyed our stay but there were a few things in need of small repair. We stayed 2 wks and we did not tell the property owner about any of these issues. She was attentive in making herself available if needed.
BBQ wouldn't stay lit, the ceiling fan in main living rm squeaks and there was an issue with flying ants and other ants in the master bedroom and bathroom at night.
It was clean and there were beautiful surroundings.Nice yard with some privacy with lovely singing birds and bowl lilly ponds. If your older their is a wonderful walking path through the golf course but you can not walk to the beach. Most activities on the other side of the island. Great breeze in the evening and food shopping close by. We rated this stay 4 stars

My wife and I stayed here for 12 nights on our honeymoon. The house was bigger than what we required but we wanted something spacious and private and this more than fit the bill. The owner, Catherine was communicative and helpful. The house is gorgeous and has everything you could want for a vacation stay including beach gear, lots of towels, grill, bicycles, ping pong, foosball and more. The backyard is private with a very comfortable sitting area. There's no air-conditioning which I was a little apprehensive about given that we were there in high summer but the weather is perfect and there are fans everywhere, plus large sliding doors and lots of windows which keep the air circulated so we were never uncomfortable at any point. Highly recommended and I would go back.

Stayed at this house for over a week. The kitchen/outdoor grill were perfect for making meals in. The location was great to watch sunrise and sunsets. Our property manager was easy to communicate and prompt with any concerns we had. Would highly recommend!

It suited our needs perfectly!
Location: It was on Government Camp Loop, so we could walk to any location in Government Camp (even when it was extremely snowy!) easily.
Information: Binder was very informative; parking pass was very helpful.
Cabin: Bed was cozy, couch was comfy, and the fireplace was a nice touch. Lots of natural light. Mudroom was essential during winter conditions.
Access: We went during a winter storm, so the route to and from the house was what someone was able to snow-shovel. Additionally, the stairs to the 2nd story were pretty narrow. I say this to indicate that if you aren't mobile or if you have health/walking/stability issues, this probably isn't the cabin for you (especially during the winter). It worked great for us however.

The teens had a place upstairs all to themselves.. everything was clean and pretty well maintained... screen door in kitchen was off ..my nephews tried fixing but it wouldn't stay on .. and garage bin in kitchen keep sliding open .,,.. but overall it was perfect for us... would stay again

House was exactly as stated, there were a couple of electrical issues but host was receptive and fixed. All of our needs were met and the location was good for us, safe, quiet and comfortable. We didn’t use the games provided or the upstairs at all.

This property was perfect for all our needs except ac. We had to buy a fan because it was so hot up in the loft. Someone also came during our stay and moved some things and locked a storage area. It would’ve been fine but they should’ve notified us of the visit. The wine frig is broken. It was over heating. Not a problem we just used the main frig. Great kitchen! We had most of our meals and family time there. The back porch was perfect in the evenings! The tvs didn’t work for us because the remotes didn’t work. That sucked. Our kids enjoyed the ping pong table, bikes, and boogie boards! It was very comfortable except the ac. It did not mention there was no ac when I booked the house in the description. Loved that we had our private washer and dryer! Overall we had a blast just wished we could watch tv in the evenings. Not enough trash cans to accommodate the trash piled up from previous renters.

What a great rental experience! The house was beautifully decorated inside and out. Super big kitchen for family dining. If we had questions, the response time from owner was quick. The "kids" made great use of the ping-pong table in the garage as well as the bikes. Just such an easy, flawless vacation. Thanks Catherine!

A great place for a vacation. Just returned and making note this is winter and can be rainy. The house was great. Spacious and comfortable. Loved the ping pong and large kitchen. We had sufficient room for the 6 of us. Liked the location and the island is amamzing! Thank you!
