Such a lovely home! We had a total of 7 adults (ages 18-58) sharing this oasis & it was perfect. The neighborhood is quiet & it is a wonderful location. Walking distance to Queen’s Bath was a huge plus, literally just down the street! We absolutely loved the atmosphere/environment; the gorgeous yard is so lush. Being able to enjoy both the back & front yards with patio/lanai areas for sunrise & mountain views was amazing as well as the hot tub for relaxing after our daily excursions. We were visited by beautiful cardinals as well as the local roosters/chickens that are around the island, ear plugs are good if you are not into the roosters…but we were fine with them. For the inside of the home, the A/C was useful for our time of year, the windows that surround the living area really showed off the beauty of the home as well as the outdoor scenery. For not so hot months, the abundance of windows with screens would be enough to keep the house cool & comfortable. The house was very clean, appliances all in great working order, bathrooms were tidy and stocked well. There are plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards, even a couple of surf boards, lots of sand toys & water gear. The proximity is an easy to drive to the nearby attractions like Hanalei Bay, Tunnels Beach (snorkeling was a must @ Tunnels, sea turtles were hanging out with us for a bit and lots of pretty fish). Surfing and boogie boarding at Kealia Beach was epic. We recommend this home & would definitely book again.

This was one of the most beautiful places I've stayed. I loved the house - it was like living in a botanic garden with gorgeous plants all around and windows. Comfortable beds and furniture. Central location to everything. Good management. Absolutely a dream. We loved it. We would go back.

Property was clean, spacious, well stocked. Perfect for our group of 4 adult couples. I must say, though, all the pre-stay emails and requests for information from the property management company was annoying and overreaching. They made it seem like it was something necessary or required to provide flight information, car rental information, insurance information, names, addresses, emails and phone numbers of everyone in our group, etc. Come to find out, it's all unnecessary. Seems like they're fishing for information they can then sell. We pushed back a little and didn't provide it and our stay went fine.

What a wonderful home! A great location- lots of walking trails, paths and exploring! Close to grocery runs! And easy to drive to beaches! Home included lots of beach towels, boogie boards, beach chairs!! Gorgeous backyard and patio for early morning coffee w friends! The home was fresh and clean and so much space! We had 2 families stay and it was perfect!

The house and neighborhood were amazing for a family of 8 including 5 year old! Quiet, peaceful, comfortable and not in a neighborhood of tourists. Contact with host for house was easy and responsive. We were able to relax and really felt like we were away from everything you associate with busy everyday life. We walked to Hideaway Beach, amazing for snorkeling but a hike down to beach. We also spent a lot of family time at Hanalei Bay and beaches which were perfect for kids, surfing and spending time on uncrowded beaches. Hanalei is a really cute, small, laid back community which we really enjoyed. So much nicer than the crowded side of the island at Poipu! We have been to Kauai several times and will be back!

The property was a great size for 6 adults. We had 2 couples and 2 singles in the group, so everyone had their own room and bath (the 2 singles shared the 3rd full bath). The house was well appointed with a fully stocked kitchen and outdoor grill which gave us great flexibility with mealtimes. The hosts provided beach gear (towels, chairs, snorkel equipment, boogie boards), so the group was well prepared for multiple days at North Shore beaches. The hot tub in the back allowed a relaxing end to the day. Cooling options for the house included window AC units or the louvers that allowed the trade winds to ventilate. Princeville is a quiet neighborhood with the typical Kauai Roosters that announce the arrival the morning! This is a great property that is well located to serve as home base for the North Shore attractions. Thank you for the great stay!

We loved the house (Hale Anu Keanu), and the location in Princeville was nice and close to Hanalei Bay where we went every day to surf and relax on the beach. The house is also close to some good hikes and there are a bunch of good restaurants a short drive away. Our family really enjoyed eating outside on the lani and soaking in the hot tub in the back yard. Certainly a place we would love to visit again!

Responsive property manager, more beautiful than the pictures in a picturesque neighborhood, short walk to Queens Bath trailhead (a must do), the six of us were so comfortable with space for private time and plenty of group fun and meal time. We hope to stay here again! Mahalo!!!

We had a really great stay at this Princeville home. Communications with the Elite management team were excellent. The house was exactly as advertised, and it was extremely clean with some upscale features, and well-stocked with quality cookware, dishes, linens, beach towels, etc. Our group was 2 families with 2 kids each and the house accommodated us very well. Although there were some walkable trails nearby, the ones we found that seemed to go to a beach were pretty overgrown and not safe-looking for kids. So, we mostly drove to other beaches and activities which was fine. The cupboard containing beach equipment was a very nice plus. We have previously stayed on Kauai at the Westin in apartment units with full kitchens that were pretty nice, but this was so much better. Our 2 families have stayed together in many different vacation rental homes on the west coast and hawaii, and this was definitely one of the best!

We had a great stay…we had a few problems with the stove and ice maker, but the property manager was very good at communicating with us and trying to get everything fixed. Just a short walk to Queens bath which was amazing! A little bit of a drive to all our activities, but we didn’t mind the drive. The floors were sticky and they don’t want you to wear shoes in the house so we go some sandals just for the house…other than that the spa was nice, the rooms and bathrooms were nice and the neighborhood was nice and quiet.

We had a great time at this property. The house is huge with loads of space to spread out or to gather together. The kitchen was well-equipped and we were so happy with the gift basket with some Hawaiian bananas and a papaya!
The beds were comfortable and the showers were good. We didn't use the AC and were happy to leave the window flaps open to get natural air in.
The location is great and surrounded by so much beauty. It was our first introduction to the Kauai roosters and they made us laugh every time we heard them.
The property manager was easy to get hold off and was quick to solve our issues. We were pleased with the support we received.
Would recommend a stay here or at another of their properties.

We recently stayed at Hale Anu Keanu with our extended family. It was a fantastic home base! The layout is great for cooking dinners and relaxing on the back lanai. It's only a short walk to Happy Talk Lounge for those looking for afternoon cocktails, and Makai golf club for those looking for golf. If hiking's your thing, Queens bath is at the end of the street. Very easy acess to Hanalei and the north shore in general. The house is stocked with bikes and beach gear. Will be back!

The property was wonderful. There were six of us, my husband and I, our 23-year-old son, and three of his friends. We were upstairs and they were downstairs and they also enjoyed watching their shows on the large smart tv. It was truly a wonderful time and we will return.

We joined another family for a trip to the north shore, and found this home to be quite comfortable and convenient to activities in Princeville and Hanalei. The house easily accommodated both families (8 people, including 4 kids, 7 and under), and was close to Princeville Center (which made for easy supply runs). Would definitely recommend!

This was a great house to enjoy with the family. We loved the wind that would blow through the house. Very nice neighborhood and easy walking to Princeville resort for a nice meal and beautiful views! We also used the surfboards to teach kids how to surf on Hanalei Bay, a huge hit! Great house overall! Master bedroom upstairs gave privacy and the bedrooms down stairs could be used by all the kids. There was lots of room for everything to eat together since it had a large dining room. Even though there was a nice breeze, it was very hot at night, especially for the elders in their house, with no AC. The ceiling fans didn’t help too much. It was. A nice location in Princeville, the super market and some stores were close by. Beaches are close but they all require hiking down to the water, which some of the elders and children could not do....so we had to drive to beaches that you could just walk into.

Beautiful home. We enjoyed our stay. However, it would be nice to have some type of air conditioning. Made for very uncomfortable sleeping. I do not remember that being advertised that there was no air conditioners and that would have made a difference when booking! Nonetheless we had a wonderful vacation and cannot wait to come back to Kauai!!!

We enjoyed this house very much. The house was clean and extremely well kept. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals for our family of 10. Our daughter got married on the island so we had wedding preparations to do, there was plenty of room for that and having people over.
There are nice bikes and plenty of beach gear available for use.
The beds were comfortable and the furnishings were up to date and comfortable.
The location is perfect and in a nice community area. We took advantage of the walking paths, the bike paths and the golf course.
The property manager was wonderful and answered any questions we had.
We highly recommend this house and would stay here again.

This home was incredibly beautiful and wonderful overall. Our one complaint was that there was no air conditioning in the home and the ceiling fans did not push much air through the rooms which was inconvenient for sleep. Being from Las Vegas we wouldn’t have thought a home isn’t already equipped with AC but we forget there are localities that do not always need it. We found a single fan which didn’t do much good for the three rooms we used but the home overall is simply great in all other ways. The home was close to a great village and within walking or driving distance of several beaches and tourist type attractions. We would definitely stay at this home again should we come back.

Upon our arrival, we entered this spacious, beautifully appointed home and were in awe in every regard from that moment forward. Every room was immaculate and tastefully furnished, with the highest quality of attention obviously given to the preparation and care of this gorgeous space. It was so incredibly invigorating as well as restful to move through the house and grounds and be able to view the striking, lush green scenery around us. We all became deeply immersed in the beauty that is Kauai--the essence of it and all of its verdant landscape. And to be able to also enjoy the wonders of the ocean on the Island so up close and personal was a profound gift that will live in our memories. This experience was one we want to repeat each year. The management and service were remarkable, indeed. Our every need was anticipated and met. This was beyond a five star hotel vacation.

We have stayed at this fabulous spot twice -- in May 2015 and April 2017.
It is so much more than a rental house, it's a REAL Hawaiian home. The decor and total ambiance is wonderfully soothing, happy and bright. You get a true feeling of what it's like to live in this part of paradise. All the tropical touches lend to living in the Hawaiian style --from the front lanai for reading and naps to the huge back yard with lush grounds and flowering trees.
The accommodations are first class. We have stayed in rentals all over Europe, South America and across the US. I've never had a kitchen so complete. Not just a small complement of dishes, pots and pans, but 2 full sets of dishes and a wide variety of appliances. The open floor plan is great for cooking, grilling and still being part of the action. A very large dining room is great for big groups and the outdoor table is equally big. The local grocery is very close and has all that you would need. A few restaurants nearby also.
The bedrooms are beautifully appointed. I'm very picky about beds and the 2 we tried were super comfortable. Lots of closet space. Both master suites have great views out the back to the tropical garden and mountains filled with waterfalls. High quality linens and towels. The master baths are enormous with very large walk-in showers with pebble flooring and great water pressure and shower heads. It's like a fancy resort hotel bathroom. It's
also very hand to have the half bath right off the kitchen.
There also is a large selection of sporting equipment available, bikes, boogie boards, beach chairs etc. Very nice to not have to buy them for a short stay.
While there is no ocean view, the lush tropical plantings of the neighborhood and the amazing views of the mountains and many waterfalls make up for it.
This would be a great place for 2 couples, with or without kids, a combined family vacation or a gals getaway trip. You are a 10 minute drive to the "locals" beach, Annini Beach and closer to the historic town of Hanalei. While it is a 45-60 minute drive from the airport, you are in the most quite and peaceful part of Hawaii. If you want action and nightlife, go to Waikiki.
