We loved our week at Holua Kai 2. Plenty of room for our party of 8, and great amenities. Our kids were in the pool every minute we weren't at a beach. Appreciated being able to walk to/from our manta ray snorkeling tour, luau, and pickleball courts.

Had a great time on the Big Island with my family and staying in the awesome VRBO property in Kona. Splendid accommodations close to everything and with the luxury of a pool in the backyard. Thanks for the great memories made in Hawaii.

This home was absolutely massive, with tons of space for everyone to relax. We had a group of 7, and could have had at least 3 more and been comfortable. The pool was lovely and my children enjoyed a morning dip. We actually really enjoyed watching the golfers each day. Great access to Keauhou Bay, where you can walk to the harbour for snorkeling and boat trips. KTA grocery just a short drive away, and got groceries delivered from target a few times during our stay. Overall we absolutely loved the house, the location, and our time on the Big Island. Can not wait to come back!

The moment we walked into this house, all we could say was "Wow!" It is truly immaculate and well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. Communication with the property managers at Kona Coast Vacations was easy and smooth from booking through check-out. They were able to accommodate an early arrival and delayed check-out, which was so appreciated! The location was also convenient to shopping, restaurants, and the airport. Highly recommend and will definitely stay here again if we visit The Big Island!

We stayed here for about 11 days in Feb/March. We had a wonderful time and loved the property. We had 5 adults and 2 young kids (5 and 2) and it suited every one of us perfectly. The pool is great, the kitchen is well equipped, and the beds are comfy. Great location! Would stay there again and highly recommend!

We stayed mid Feb24. 5 of us on a girl trip. This was a clean, centrally located to Kona home on a golf course. We watched the golfers and the goats from the lanai each morning while drinking coffee. The pool was perfect. The home has everything you need. Super easy to check in. All communication was very timely. We had a mishap with the pool vacuum and they were there to fix before we even woke up the next day. Perfect for a large family with kids. And perfect for a group of women that like their own rooms and bathrooms! Would stay again for sure!

This was a wonderful find. The setting on the golf course lent itself to majestic views of the sunset and sunrise. It was quiet. The clubhouse had good food. All 7 were pleased. The beds were super comfy. I would like to duplicate the mattress here at home. I would defnitely book it again. Thank you so much.

This house was amazing and perfect for our family of 7 and our Christmas celebration. Plenty of room for Adult children and parents in this wonderful home!
The kitchen was perfect for making our Christmas dinner while serving drinks poolside on the Lanai. The double doors opening from the living room and kitchen are fantastic.
Bedrooms are large with nice closet space and good bathrooms!
The home is in a gated community and very quiet -- great for morning walks and playing pickle ball across the street. A quick walk to the beach and amazing views.
The home is nicely located -- close to Kona and along the main road.

The property is stunning! Very new construction. Could use a dresser in the master suite and a few more kitchen items. The pool and outdoor living space is perfect for relaxation. Only downside was the pickle ball tournaments got very noisy every weekend.

We had an awesome time here. We loved cooking in the kitchen and all included with it. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all great. The kids were swimming and I was grilling. The house is great for lounging and all the bedrooms and bathrooms were stocked with everything you need.

The property was just as nice as the pictures show. Everything was in good working order. The two master suites were nice and the large showers were nice for cleaning the kids after fun afternoons at the beach.
The location was great; quick access to downtown Kona (~15 minute drive) but wasn’t nearly as busy as staying in one of the resorts in the downtown area. Just down the hill from Captain Cook (and Shaka Tacoz and Greenwell Farms).
A welcome box provided some coffee and treats so we could have a relaxed start of the trip before getting groceries. There wasn’t much in the way of condiments and cooking items but we left behind some stuff.
There was a nice assortment of beach accessories in the garage, including a sturdy fold up wagon, beach mats, umbrellas, toys, 2 surf boards and a boogie board.
We had most of our dinners on the lanai and were treated to lovely views in the morning and evenings. The golfers weren’t a bother and it was fun so see goats wandering the course.
The only complaint we had was the noise due to proximity to the pickle ball courts. They generally started 7 or 8am and went into the evening on a couple of nights. This meant keeping the windows for the bedrooms on the front of the house closed. But the noise wasn’t an issue on the backside of the house and they weren’t out every night.
The kids loved the pool; our youngest would have been content to be in the pool every afternoon.
Highly recommended to families with kids.

Accommodations were as good as or better than described and pictured and perfect for a large family. Downside - no beach equipment and, although the kitchen is nicely outfitted with lovely dishes and wine glasses, there was little bakeware for oven use. Also no iron or ironing board - missed that as we were here for a wedding.

Large and comfortable house Looks brand new. Beautiful view on the golf and mountains while sitting in the backyard next to the private pool. Quiet and relaxing. Just 10~15 minutes from Kona downtown. Access to water within 10 min walk but it's mostly a harbor, and not very good for swimming/ snorkeling but doable. We really enjoyed our stay and would rent again.

It is a great property - spacious and newly updated. Kids really enjoyed the pool in the backyard. The location is pretty good. KTA Supermarket and a shopping plaza is near by (5 minutes drive) and 20 minutes to airport. There is a walking distance seaport with several boating activity companies. There are also several beaches nearby. Though if you would like to go to a white sand beach, you will need to drive up north 30-40 minutes. Overall, we enjoyed the stay and will consider to book again for future trips!
