Forever in our hearts. I can hear my sister giving my nieces a bath upstairs. My son and brother in law playing video games in the living room. Overall this is a great house near golf and walking distance to a few beaches. Walkable to a sunset view from the golf course out on a bluff overlooking the ocean and a view of Queen’s Bath from high above. We had 3 couples staying here for 4 nights. We cooked here quite a bit and we ventured out during the day on beach trips and really enjoyed having the snorkel equipment, beach towels, chairs and umbrellas for our use. Only thing giving it a lesser rating was a couple of bugs seen in the kitchen. I let the owner know. I’m sure that is an ongoing issue because of the weather and environment on the island. Overall it was a great stay.

If you want to stay at the Princeville/Hanalei Bay area, then this is your place! We had a party of 7 adults and one baby under the age of 2. The house had plenty of stuff for the baby to use such as a pack and play and a high chair. The house also has everything you need for a perfect day at the beach with beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear, etc. The house was very spacious and clean. I loved the outdoor kitchen area the most. We spent many hours making meals and spending quality time together in the lanai. The indoor kitchen has the latest appliances and had everything we needed to cook our meals. Scott was very responsive to any questions and needs we had before and during our stay. He also provided a list of activities, shopping and restaurants in the area which was very helpful. We are definitely going to come back for all of our family vacations on Kauai!!

Can’t say enough good things about Scott’s place! Our family of 8 stayed the 1st half of our trip at a local resort and it was decent enough, but when we arrived at this house… I immediately exclaimed out loud, “10 out of 5 stars!” Scott was very communicative and accommodating, even coordinating with the cleaning crew to let us check in a bit early. Great location right by Queen’s Bath (which was sadly closed due to conditions during our stay, but we knew that ahead of time) and such beautiful views of the mountains (and waterfalls!) right from lanais and even some of the bedrooms. The house has all the gear you need (even more than what’s shown in the photos!), kitchen supplies (including spices, coffee maker, and a brita filter), and Scott has a big binder full of recommendations for your stay. The house itself is spacious, has very effective AC units and ceiling fans, beautiful flooring and tasteful decor, comfy couches/seating, and we were especially enamored of the gorgeous staircase with banister made of tropical wood Also loved the mud room with high quality washer and dryer. We felt really comfortable and at home here and highly recommend Scott’s place! Hope to be back soon!Oh! And you should definitely walk over towards the golf course for sunset… photo of that and one of the lanai views attached.

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The house was gorgeous and had a lot of nice amenities! Fit 8 people comfortably. We loved using the grill to cook fish and did enjoy lots of the beach gear in the garage. I would recommend this house and neighborhood to any!

Big and beautiful house in a great neighborhood! We loved walking the path on the golf course and being near Hanalei. It was also very nice to have beach items and towels! Our only complaint is that the king size bed creaked very badly and there were a couple issues with the bedroom doors.

We had a great 21 day stay in this Princeville VRBO. This was our first time to this island. We were happy we chose the north side - very lush and many beautiful beaches with only a few people on them (in December with big waves). The house had everything we needed, and is located in a nice neighborhood. We appreciated the owner's many suggestions for things to do and see.

As a multi-generation family, celebrating a milestone birthday, this house was almost perfect! The owner was in contact with us about our concerns and was very helpful regarding missing supplies and entrance lock issues. Our only complaint was that we had to travel by car to the beach. (A car is necessary to see most of Kauai; a boat or helicopter to see the Napali Coast!) We highly recommend Captain Andy's Sunset Catamaran dinner cruise, the highlight of our trip for everyone, ages 3, 5, 9, 13 and adults to 78! Plan on spending more than you thought you would, knowing most of the experiences are worth the $$$.

Our stay in Princeville was fantastic. The house is in a beautiful location- close to activities, beautiful beaches, restaurants and shops. The house is STOCKED with all of the beach supplies a family could need, including chairs, towels, snorkeling equipment, sand toys, a cooler, and even a wagon to haul everything. The layout of the house was perfect for two families. We would absolutely recommend this property.

We stayed with our children and grandchildren at this beautiful home. The indoor and outdoor kitchens were well set up, and we made many family dinners and were able to eat indoors and outdoors. The home is roomy and very comfortable. The outdoor beach toys and wagon were used daily by our grandsons, and we loved having the beach chairs and towels available at the house for our daily beach trips. Just a beautiful home in a magical place. Scott was great with returning my messages and sent lots of good information that helped us plan our trip. One of our very best family trips. Would absolutely rebook this house!

Our whole family plus the 21 year old’s boyfriend came! We had a fantastic stay (with the exception of an Airgas truck driver coming over on us!) Even with the accident, we were able to make some great memories!

My brother and I took our parents to Kauai for their 50th wedding anniversary and this house was perfect for our needs! I loved that each bedroom basically had its own bathroom. The AC downstairs was very powerful and made coming in from the outside, delightful. This house was in a great neighborhood and very convenient to get to from all the local shopping. We hope to come back and stay here one of these days again. I would definitely recommend.

The location of this house is very good! The golf course and trail leading to the Queen’s Bath are within walking distance and the grocery is nearby. There are also some great restaurants and food trucks that you can enjoy! We liked the air conditioning in the downstairs living area and master. Upstairs gets a little warm but cools off after sunset nicely. Beds are comfy! Bring your own soap! Thanks for a good place to stay!

Our group of 10 (3 families with 6 adults, 3 teens & 1 tween) had a fun stay in Princeville. The location of the house couldn’t be better! We enjoyed walking to Queens Bath, riding bikes to soak up the sunset and strolling in the beautiful neighborhood. The location was great for our daily adventures to different parts of the island. The house was spacious & worked well for our large group. The available beach chairs, boogie boards and beach umbrellas were such a bonus for us. Scott’s communication was great after some initial miscommunication during the reservation process. He called us directly & apologized for the issue. He provided tips for restaurants and activities, which we found helpful. Our only suggestion would be in how the home is advertised. The home can accommodate 10 guests, however Scott prefers to keep the guest count at 8 and charges extra fees ($95 per person, per night) for the 9th & 10th guests. This information is listed on the VRBO site, however it wasn’t super easy to find. Our suggestion would be to clarify this information in an easily accessible location on the page for guests. Check in and check out were easy. Overall, we had an amazing stay!

Upon arrival we noticed the floors had not been cleaned in quite sometime. However, we made a quick call to the lady who cleans and she came over the following day and it was much better!!! Scott, the owner, was awesome to deal with! We needed a later checkout due to a red eye flight and he accommodated us. He gave recommendations of great places to eat and things to do/see. It was a great and spacious house that gave our family (9) plenty of space. The bikes and all the beach gear were used nonstop! The Outdoor shower was nice to wash off all the sand from being at the beach all day. Quiet neighborhood, close to some awesome views. We would totally stay here again!!

My family stayed at this property in Princeville 7 days. We absolutely loved this fantastic house ! We had 10 adults and the house was specious and very comfortable for our whole family. There were lots of kitchen tools, dishes, towels and snorkel equipments even bikes. The location was perfect and convenient with very quiet neighbors. The house was well located and the space worked well for our family of 6 adults and 1 toddler. The cleaning standard when we arrived was excellent and Scott, the owner, was a pleasure to deal with. The kitchen is mostly well equipped with a new fridge and dishwasher. The gas cooktop needs replacing but it looks like the owner has one ready to install. The furnishings are very tired and some of the carpets are pretty stained. The place is just in need of some basic minor repairs (garage door, for ex) and only 2 of the 4 bikes were usable.

The home was nice, great arrangement. Although there are a few minor items I will mention, I would still rate as a 5. The bedroom with double bunks was hot and no working fan which made it a little uncomfortable for the guests in that room. Overall nice, some wear to furniture, however, most time was not spent in the house, so this was not a concern.

We stayed on Poipu beach for the first part of our trip but wanted to explore the northern part of the island. Great stay at this Princeville house. Remember there isn’t A/C but was not an issue for us. We were out all day and slept with windows open at night.

Our family named the trip album poke bowl, because we always seemed to add poke bowls to our meals. The house was wonderful for our family. We had plenty of space. Great backyard to play with the kids. The house was completely equipped for everything from the beach to the kitchen. Scott gave so many options for beaches. We picked anni beach one day and hanaleii bay another day. We could not have asked for more. We had 2 small issues with a faucet and garbage disposal and left note for the housekeeper. It was a wonderful vacation home for our family from age 4 to 74. Thanks Doug

Scott's house was absolutely perfect for us. The location is amazing, the house is huge, and even with 10 adults we never felt cramped. The driveway is massive too which was really nice since we had a few different vehicles between us. He also has it completely stocked with everything you would need for the beach which is SO nice. The outdoor shower was great too for rinsing feet/swimsuits. He also has an extra fridge/freezer in the garage which came in handy with a couple large pizza boxes and some 12 packs. Also, even in the middle of the day it was never unpleasant inside, even without AC. The house has a ton of fans and always felt well ventilated. Was such a great experience overall, would absolutely stay here again!

This home has everything you could need. Located short walk to Queens bath. Beautiful decorated and plenty of space for a large group. Kitchen appliances are high end and everything a chef would need. They have 4 bikes with a lock, boogie boards and plenty of snorkel gear. You seriously just need food and your own clothing I would highly recommend staying here.

Our stay here was perfection! Scott was super responsive to any messages and questions. We felt very welcomed with an easy checkin/checkout procedures, complimentary macadamia nuts and post cards, plenty of beach equipment (towels, boogie boards, umbrellas, toys, snorkel gear, bikes, etc). Everything was very clean as well. We loved being so close to the Queens bath trail and walking/running throughout the neighborhood. The neighbors were quiet, and it’s so dark at night (no street lights!) we could see thousands of stars. The tangerine tree and open grassy space in the side yard was a huge hit for the kids.
The only thing I would suggest changing is the main floor bedroom’s curtains are pretty sheer so we needed to be aware of privacy with lights on at night because it’s visible from the kitchen and dining areas.
We were 2 families traveling together - 11 of us (4 adults and 7 kids) and everyone was very comfortable and had plenty of space to play and hang out. Kitchen and pantry were stocked with plenty of leftover necessities so it was nice not to have to purchase *every* thing!
We absolutely loved this property and highly recommend it!!

We traveled with 4 adults and our 3 children (ages 4-8), and this home was perfect for our stay. Another couple could have joined us with plenty of room, Having 3 master bedrooms was wonderful, and it was nice for my parents, who are in their 60s, to be able to have a downstairs master, since the stairs would have been hard for them to do daily. The house is very well stocked, lots of pantry staples and beach necessities. The home is so spacious, and there are enough lanais for everyone to have their own quiet space in the mornings. The house is in a great, quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend for a group or large family or even 2 small families.

This was out first time renting through VRBO and I have to say that property owner (Scott) was fantastic. He was very patient with all of the questions we asked and served as both travel guide and property owner. Scott had great recommendations on things to do.
The house was beautiful and had so much open space indoors and three wonderful outdoor lanais. The kitchen was well stocked and could have easily accommodated a large party with all of the dishware and cooking utensils.
The location is truly paradise in Princeville near the golf course and ocean.
The property was very tastefully decorated inside and the landscaping looked like a country club!
