We had an amazing week here. The beach was beautiful and not crazy busy. The owners supplied beach chairs, towels, snorkel gear, boogie boards, umbrella, and cooler. We were able to see whales and turtles right from the beach. It is a location that many people come to watch the sunset. We did not want to leave!!

Really enjoyed the condo. Location was great and condo area nice. The condo itself was great. Kitchen was incredible - stocked better than almost every other place we’ve stayed. Having a washer snd dryer was s bonus. The only trouble we had was communication not going through on the VRBO website. Once we exchanged personal communication with each other, correspondence was easy. We would stay here again in a minute!

Our family of 4 had a great stay. Upon arrival the condo was clean and inviting. The location was great and unlike the majority of the condos, this one had a good deal of privacy when sitting on the lanai since it's a corner unit away from the main courtyard.
The condo had everything we needed, chairs, umbrellas, coolers, boogie boards and pool noodles for the kids. This eliminated the need to rent these items.
The AC units in the bedrooms were perfect and only needed at night for comfort.
There was a large selection of bath and beach towels and additional pillows.
The kitchen was well stocked with essentials and spices and oils for cooking, which was helpful even though we ate out most nights.
The pool and beach met our needs, but we didn't spend much time at this particular beach during our stay due to the winds and rough surf.
We had a great stay and would highly recommend!

We had a great time!! The condo was very clean, comfortable , and helpful necessities that made things much easier.
The a/c in the bedrooms was loud, but earplugs helped with that.
Very accommodating with getting into the condo earlier than scheduled time, so helpful!!

We loved our stay here! The location is perfect- centrally located to be able to explore the whole island and a fun little beach just steps away from your door. The condo was very clean and updated and was stocked with everything you could need - boogie boards, beach/sand toys, beach chairs, coolers etc. The owners were fantastic to work with and communication was very quick. We would definitely stay here again!

We have stayed at this property 4 times, and this was our 2nd time in this unit. We truly enjoy it to keep coming back. Great communication with the host, perfect location, and easy beach/pool access. Condo was clean, quiet, and loaded with extras to make the trip great.

We had a fabulous stay at this property. There were 5 of us, 4 adults and a child and it didn’t feel like we were on top of each other.
The kitchen was very well stocked with everything and more that you would need. We used the bbq’s every night and they were always clean.
The pool was probably the cleanest and nicest that we’ve seen at a rental property. It was quiet while we were there in April and there are lots of lounge chairs to go around.
The beach is just a couple minute walk over the dune in front. We preferred our beach over others in the area.
The location is perfect. We had a rental car only half the week so having a grocery stores and shops within walking distance was a huge plus.
It was nice to be able to do a couple small loads of laundry as well rather than taking home everything dirty.
We would stay here again and would recommend this rental to others.

Well kept but an old complex. Bad windows not very secure and poor air vents for the air conditioners. Not a safe area too many home less and street people a on the road to the beach. Police were in our area because of fights and partying on the road to the beach two different nights because of screaming people. We did find a few local restaurants that were acceptable with friendly staff. Only one rainy day. Great weather

Owners are great to deal with, condo has all necessities to prepare own meals. Property has 3 new Weber bbqs.
Good pool, beach is seconds away without having to cross S. Kihei Road.

This VRBO was nothing short of incredible. We booked this condo as a first vacation for our family of 6 and absolutely did not want to leave. The condo itself was perfect - comfortable beds, kitchen and beach stuff stocked, working a/c in both bedrooms. We have a 12-week old and the pack and play supplied was so helpful. We have 3 little boys and being on the ground floor was the best decision we could have made. They spent hours playing football in the grass beyond our lanai. Walking to the beach over the sand dune took less than 30 seconds. We never turned on the TV one single time. The pool is huge and amazing. The grounds are gorgeous. I grew up coming to Kihei but have always stayed closer to Wailea - this is Maui's best kept secret as far as I'm concerned and frequent visitors of this particular property that we spoke to always said the same thing. It's on the quiet end of Kihei, walking distance to grocery stores and shaved ice (which we had every day) and Longs Drugs which is basically like Hawaii's Walmart - has everything you need. We had groceries delivered from Costco and Safeway and grilled out on the property's gas grills every night. Saw whales and turtles daily. We also realized we probably never needed to rent a car as the beach was perfect for my little kids - shallow for at least 200 yards (but very corally so bring water shoes) and small waves and plenty of sand. I know I sound like I'm rambling but this truly was better than we could have imagined. We were there for 12 days and no one wanted to come home. We loved it so much that one night on the patio, my husband and I figured out a way to come back next year and booked this exact same place already for next Christmas. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for helping to make this the best vacation ever. My snow bunny kids (we are from Alaska) needed this trip. I needed this trip! Also - side note. Communication with owners was excellent and always very responsive. I have not one single complaint. Mahalo!!!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It's walking distance to numerous stores and restaurants, and the beach. The closet is stocked with beach gear and games to play in condo.
It looked to have a recent remodel, which made it feel comfy and like home.
A great place for a Hawaiian Vacation.

We have stayed at Waihuli Beach Hale several times. Our hosts this year were great. We had an issue with the TV and they stayed in touch until it was resolved. The condo is beautifully equipped. The lanai was large enough that the 4 of us were able to enjoy all our meals there. Overall is was a great 4 weeks!

The couple that own this condo have done a fantastic job setting it for an easy entry into your vacation. 2 bedroom 2 bathroom ground floor condo on the edge of the building worked well for our family. The unit gets top marks for the amount of stocked item included. We used the beach stuff almost every day. Cooked most of our meals in the unit and the Times grocery store was an easy 2 min walk door to door.
We loved the easy outdoor access, large pool and lovely beach. The beach was the biggest surprise not having stayed at this end of Kihei before, lots of sandy spots, safe swimming for smaller kids and the turtles! We saw turtles most afternoons sunning themselves on the beach.
This place gets top marks if you are active vacationer, want to cook/entertain, stay on the beach and aren’t looking for expensive hotel amenities.
Thank you Jami-we will recommend to friends and family and book again if our travels bring us to Maui

We were very disappointed with this property. The decor was awful, overcrowded, and lacked comfortable chairs in the unit and on the patio. There wasn't any soap in the bathrooms which was unfortunate given our late arrival. Given Covid, we assumed that this would be a priority. Serious safety concerns encountered included: At 10:00 pm one evening, a heavy medicine cabinet that wasn't properly installed fell off the wall but fortunately hit the side of the countertop while one of us was brushing teeth. The property manager, Henry came immediately and removed the cabinet from the countertop. It is very fortunate that no one was seriously injured. One of the electrical outlets in the kitchen sparked. The patio awning also fell on us. The owner did respond and arranged for a repair person to come out. The first repair person indicated the concerns required more expertise. We were accused by the owner that we wouldn't let the repair person in and did not receive an apology given that he had already been there. The second repair person fixed the electrical outlet and made a temporary fix on one of the air-conditioning units that weren't installed properly and cleaned the filters. He noted that the medicine cabinet should be replaced with a mirror. On a positive note, the pool and grounds are well kept by the property manager, and beach access is great. This property was not worth the price we paid and nor were we offered any form of compensation for the issues we had to contend with.

The condo worked pretty well for our family. Although 2nd bedroom was sweltering pretty much all day night. The living room and master bedroom did have an portable ac and worked pretty good. The kitchen is pretty well stocked. The beach is very close, and we enjoyed seeing the roosters and chicks outside every morning. Jami was very good at communicating when we had a concern.

We can't say enough of our stay at this property. Not only is it in a great location on the island, but it's the best unit in the property too. Ground floor, directly across from the ocean with a gorgeous lanai view, and close to the pool but not in the courtyard surrounding it, which I assume would be noisier. The condo was stocked with all the essentials and it was really nice to borrow the boogie boards and chairs when we explored different beaches. Everything was clean, the beds were comfy, and the space was perfect for our family. It's also just a few steps to a grocery store if you need anything. Highly recommend!

Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay. The condo is much nicer than I had expected for the very reasonable price. We LOVED the pool, which was a great way to end the afternoons after a day out and about. We also used the BBQ most nights. Super easy and convenient. There is a ton of tourist information in the unit, so read up on those documents if you don't have your days already planned. The unit was very clean and comfortable. (Except my back was a little sore on the nice, soft bed, but that was no biggie! The couch was firm and easy to sleep on.) It was delightful being so close to the beach and near enough to see turtles. We are definitely coming back to stay again on our next Maui excursion. We got good use out of the boogie boards and snorkel equipment. Thank you Jami and Todd for a wonderful stay at home away from home.

We had a wonderful time and loved the location. Easy access to everything and short drives to visit other parts of the island. The condo is a rare find being just steps from the beach and yet still within walking distance to shops and dining. Would highly recommend it to friends and family. Condo was clean and our boys said the sofa bed and secondary bed were really comfortable. (extra bonus) Loved that we had ac that kept the unit cooled off.

We had such a wonderful time here in Kihei! Jami was really easy to communicate with and the condo was awesome! Our 3 boys (ages 7, 11 and 14) had lots to do with the beach only steps away. We literally dropped our bags and saw them bolt out the door to the water within seconds of being there! We saw whales every day, several times. Bring your binoculars! I know there are some whale watching cruises around but with how often we saw them, we honestly didn’t feel the need to do one. We also saw plenty of turtles sleeping on the beach. The 3 boogie boards, sand toys and beach chairs kept everyone happy at the beach. We really enjoyed Kam III which is only maybe 8 minutes down the road and was a nice beach for everyone to have fun on (good waves but not too big for kids/teens who aren’t used to spending a lot of time in the ocean). There is a grocery store literally on the corner - we popped in there when we got to the condo for our breakfast things as we didn’t feel like doing a big shop after the flight. Really yummy pizza from Pizza Madness (down the street maybe 2 blocks) hit the spot too one day when we didn’t feel like cooking. Awesome, big pool to enjoy with more than enough room for everyone! Really friendly spot - everyone we talked to seemed very nice and happy to share their favorite places. We also took the kids to the Maui Ocean Centre which had some great exhibits where we all got to learn a bit more about ocean life in the area. I’d totally come back here again! We also enjoyed the board games for our lazy afternoons after the beach. Thanks Jami!

Thank you for a fabulous stay in Maui, so close to the beach with incredible views of the daily sunset. The condo was really well equipped with everything we needed and we made use of the beach chairs and body boards. We were very impressed with the overall cleanliness and facilities offered at the property including the use of push bikes and the fantastic communal swimming pool.
We were close to local shops and restaurants, Nalu being our favourite one. Jami was extremely helpful and a great host.
Would recommend this condo to anyone wanting to visit Maui.

We really enjoyed our stay in Kihei! The condo had a small stacked washer/dryer which was super helpful, portable a/c in 2 rooms, beach chairs/umbrella, boogie boards and some snorkel/masks all of which we took advantage of. The backyard goes right to an awesome stretch of beach where we walked to and checked out stars at night. It was a bit snug for a family of 5 with 3 teens esp once we pulled out the couch but we really enjoyed the location (Safeway and Times grocery stores and loads of restaurants were just around the block). Rental was conveniently located in a safe, quiet neighborhood steps away from the beach. The home was as listed and thoughtfully furnished - beach equipment, bikes, board games, and some baby amenities (pack and play, portable booster chair). Host was very responsive. The lanai faces the beach & a dune, which makes for great sunset-watching. The beach itself is lovely and long, so you can walk for ages. No traffic noise since it is on the dead end of the street. The guests in the beach condo building across the street were very loud; we had to shut the windows at night but the ceiling fans kept it very cool. We never needed the air conditioner. There’s a grocery store and tons of restaurants within very easy walking distance.
Everything was clean, neat, tidy, & tastefully decorated. The newly-renovated kitchen was well stocked & the fridge with the water and ice is so nice! The quality beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, & cooler you provided were very much appreciated.
We really wanted to watch the Olympics, but using the TV was an impossibly complicated process. We went through the 5 steps to turn on the TV but couldn’t get a local channel for the Olympics. It should not take 4 fairly capable adults, the property owner, the condo manager, and the upstairs neighbor more than an hour to figure it out. The instructions need to be far more detailed, the cable box & the various remotes need to be labeled. We really appreciated that the condo manager was so helpful and just generally a great guy.
We wish that the check out requirement to wash the beach & bath towels in the property laundromat had been stated in the house rules on the VRBO website before we booked the property, and not 11 days before arrival, after we’d already planned every minute of our trip. We’d booked an early flight out, which we would not have done if we’d known we were going to have to spend a three hours doing laundry before we checked out. No one was able to tell us how long it took to wash and dry a load of towels in the laundromat, so we were obliged to spend an afternoon when we wanted to be sightseeing doing the laundry. That also meant we couldn’t shower the morning before we left, because bath towels couldn’t be washed in the machine in the condo. If we’d known about having to use the laundromat and the time required, we’d have scheduled a later flight.

My family loved this condo for our first Maui trip! Everything was accurately listed as well as in photos. The place was clean, spacious and upgraded recently. One can tell the owners took care in their upgrades to make it an enjoyable and comfortable stay. The hosts had many items that made our stay enjoyable as the kitchen appliances were new, there were pots and pans, dishes, cups and utensils, bath towels, beach towels, as well as many beach equipment such as chairs, boogie boards, and snorkeling gear. There were also ceiling fans and portable AC units (although it wasn’t hot when we were there so we didn’t test them out but definitely great to have). We also loved the convenient parking lot as well as close proximity to the beach, Times store, and church (1 minute walk). We were close to many shops and restaurants as well. We definitely highly recommend this place and would rent this place again on our next Maui trip!!

Had a great experience overall with our 10 day stay.
Pros:
- quick access to beach. Just a 1 minute walk. Can see the ocean from the room.
- Can sometime see turtles on the beach (nov-dec)
- Lots of dead coral to collect nearby
- Full kitchen
- Super easy access to great coffee shop (Akamai) and a nice grocery store (Times)
- easy parking
- ACs for hot days
- Smart TVs for rainy days
Cons:
- tropical bugs (hardly a thing that's avoidable)
- occasional noise from people moving furniture upstairs (quite mangeable)
- roosters :P
