THE PROPERTY
Master Bedroom: King Bed | Additional Sleeping: Day Bed (punai)
An island oasis, this condo is the perfect jumping off point for all of your Kauai adventures. Fully stocked and with ocean views, this is the perfect place to relax.
If the sound of the waves doesn’t lull you to sleep at night, then the king-size memory foam mattress in the master bedroom will. Plus, there is no better way to wake up than watching the sunrise over the ocean – all from the comfort of the plush bed. The closet has plenty of hanging space and a dresser to comfortably store your belongings. For your convenience there is also a full-size washer and dryer in the utility closet.
From the lanai (patio) you can also enjoy the wraparound ocean views with your feet up on the cushioned lounge chairs. It’s the perfect place to watch for the migrating humpback whales, sip a cocktail while the moon rises over the ocean, or read a book from our traveling library.
The fully equipped kitchen has all you could need to prepare a romantic meal or prep a picnic for the beach. It features a refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, rice cooker, 4-burner electric stove, and tons of cookware and utensils. There is a dining table set for two (and extra chairs in the closet if needed) or you can enjoy your meal out on the lanai.
The living room has a full sofa, armchair, and day bed – great places to enjoy the view or to unwind for a movie night on the flat-screen cable TV. The daybed can also serve as a bed for a child or additional guest.
In addition to the full washer and dryer in the utility closet, we have beach equipment such as chairs, and an umbrella. Use it for lots of adventures around the island or to take with you on the short forest hike to our own Sealodge beach – a secluded protected reef with a coral sand beach that is partially shaded by trees and a refuge for sea turtles escaping the infamous North Shore Kauai waves.
Whether lounging on Sealodge Beach or on the lanai, the year-round tropical weather of Kauai is the place to relax and develop a sun-kissed tan.

The condo was very peaceful. Very comfortable for the three of us. There were a lot of equipment in the kitchen, for scuba diving, a cooler backpack which we used for hiking. The view on the ocean and the sound of waves were great. Only thing is that we were a bit hot especially at night for sleeping despite the ceiling fan and the portable fan by the bed. I would definitely recommend!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay Sept 8-10. The condo is in a quiet and private area, has terrific view and sitting on the lanai was relaxing. Initially I was informed the pool was under construction and closed, but we found it to be open. The Princeville location is extremely convenient to several sites along the north coast. The hike down to Sea Lodge Beach was memorable, and sitting on the lava rocks for sunset was breathtaking. My only critique of the condo was the back door/screen door which are difficult to open and the screen door needs repaired or replaced. I would stay at this location for future visits.

Loved the unit! It is small but absolutely perfect for a couple. Very clean and everything worked as advertised in VRBO. We would definitely stay here again!

Condo and view were great. Could use some new fans in the condo as they were a little loud probably worn out.

Great spot. Beautiful location with ocean view. Loved all the chickens and birds. Overall a great spot and you won't be unhappy! The following is simply informational for future visitors to make an educated decision. The condo is dated but clean with some very nice stuff but some very old and earn stuff. 7-10 years ago it was likely amazing. The shower is only half enclosed. Very strange setup. When you shower it is literally impossible to not splash the floor considerably and it is a tight space. Terrible design. Not the owners fault just how they built them and not a deal breaker by any stretch. Just something to be aware of. Additionally, the hot water could and should be turned up a notch. We take short showers but my wife likes it hot and it wasn't hot enough for her. I recommend that the TV be replaced. It is small and the remote doesn't control the volume. A larger smart TV makes sense in this day and age. Bed is comfy but not sure why they didn't put a king. If you are tall or big and sharing with a partner you likely will be cramped. I am 6 4 and it was okay at best. Light from the porch blinds you at night. Recommend black out blinds. I literally removed the light during our stay and replaced before I left. FYI they do have a blind there that is so old and falling apart it doesn't do the job. The only real complaint is the lock on the front door. It requires two hands to open. No pad lock or chain inside so anyone with code can come in while you are there. Very safe area but I personally do not like that someone could quietly enter while I sleep. Such a simple thing to fix. I could make this house a solid 9 out of 10 for about 2000 bucks. Right now I'd say it is a 7. Overall we loved our stay and the contact person Leah was nice and friendly. FYI there are a lot of units crammed in there. The first two nights the upstairs owners were so loud especially the first night all into the night as late as 1 am. You can hear the furniture sliding above. Kept me up first night. In fact decided after this visit I will never rent a condo again. A full home only. Again just informational.

My family stayed 3 nights at this Princeville condo and we are so happy we did! It was the perfect size for the 3 of us and the location is excellent. The bed was very comfy and my wife loved laying in the daybed while reading and looking at the ocean. It is a great view of the ocean and we were able to see whales jumping one afternoon. The pool is right next to the condo which was nice. It was a quick 10 minute drive to Hanalei. Highly recommend staying here!

Very cute, clean condo with great ocean views. Nicely furnished, clean, great location. Lovely to hear the ocean all night (no A/C, so open windows and fans are nice at night.) Love waking up to the scene of palm trees and the ocean from bed in the morning. The Sealodge building is older, but the owner has done a nice job of making her place feel pretty and relaxing! Location is perfect. Loved our week here.

Great location and condo as described. The only issue we encountered was water getting all over the floor since the shower glass did not extend far enough.

This place was pretty great! The check in process was super easy and seamless. Wine and chocolate were waiting for us as a welcome when we arrived. The condo has a great ocean view with a great porch to enjoy the view on. We didn’t realize how much we were out of the tourist scene until we went to Lihue on the last day, and what a difference! The condo provided a great, private getaway and we were grateful for it. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

We had a great stay at this cozy property! Everything was clean and you can't beat the views. Leah was super easy to communicate with and provided some top notch recommendations around the island! One thing to note is that if you're trying to get to Hanalei, make SURE to check the times of the road closure as it affected part of our trip. Other than that, we had an amazing time in beautiful Kauai and would absolutely stay at this property again!
