Kapalua Resort has an inherent richness of beauty and culture. From snorkeling with the sea turtles in pristine waters on white sandy beaches, or taking in the beautiful views while whale watching from the Kapalua coastal trail, this property has so much to offer! The Ridge Villas were originally built in 1980 and were designed to blend into the terraced hillside overlooking the beauty of Kapalua’s coastline. The property sits above the Bay Villas and is a short drive from shops, markets and restaurants in Kapalua. Conveniently located minutes from world-renowned golf courses at Kapalua and Kaanapali and steps from shops, markets and restaurants in Kapalua, the Ridge Villas are surrounded by everything you would need on your Maui vacation. This property is also just a few minutes from Napili and Kahana for more dining pleasures and just a few miles away from the excitement of Kaanapali Resort. This unit proudly features:

The Ridge Villa location has breathtaking ocean views of the islands of Molokai, Lanai and Honolua Bay. This villa has high ceilings, a fully equipped kitchen, two full bathrooms and a washer/dryer. Located on the property are two heated swimming pools, gas barbecues and recreation areas for the convenience of owners and guests. Free reserved covered parking and free WIFI are also included. Whether you're looking for a relaxing vacation or fun-filled getaway, or the perfect quiet and quaint spot to rejuvenate.

One of the many amenities offered at the Kapalua Resort is the free shared shuttle service around the resort. Daily from 7a-11pm, this shuttle is an on-call service that runs from the hotels, villas, golf courses and restaurants. Typically it is suggested you call about 15min ahead of time and wait outside your pick up area. If you are at an establishment in Kapalua, feel free to ask an employee there to call on your behalf. This shuttle will not take guests to/from the airport. Kapalua Resort Shuttle partners with Speedi Shuttle who offers transportation to/from the airports.

Your condominium will be supplied with beach towels. It will not however be stocked with beach equipment. Too often items break or go missing and it is not feasible to track and replace the items. Sullivan Properties, Inc firmly believes in recycling & lowering the carbon footprint we leave on this planet! If items are purchased or acquired by guests and are still in good condition, we are happy to leave them in the unit for others to enjoy. If they are extremely dirty or broken, we must toss them out. There are places nearby that rent beach amenities – your property might also have an onsite rental shack. Most of the rental places nearby offer daily or weekly rates. Please note, we are not endorsing these companies simply providing the more popular options in the area : Snorkel Bobs in the Kahana Gateway Center, Boss Frogs in the Napili Plaza and Boss Frogs in Kahana Manor. Maui on the Fly for baby equipment rentals – this includes baby beach toys and other beach necessities for children. For more details and information check them out on the web!

Kapalua’s beauty can be enjoyed through hikes, restaurants and gorgeous beaches. The hiking trails at Kapalua range from easy to extremely difficult!

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property should not be rented until some things are addressed. During our stay we had several encounters with cockroaches, ants and other misc. bugs. Sullivan Management did send in someone to address the issue but the bugs prevailed. It was not clean but then where would one start. The windows were dirty and also the lanai needed a good washing down. The carpet was buckling and the cheap linoleum in the kitchen was lifting. The whole place needs a redo. We don't blame Sullivan, we think that the owner needs to take some of the equity that they have been making and put some of it back in to the condo. It was like walking down memory lane into the 90's and not good memories either.

Reviewer Comments: Sullivan Prop. did not tell us in advance that 1222 Ridge Villa was infested with cockroaches. They should have sprayed and fumigated before we got there. They had no solutions for us except moving to a studio. We had 4 in our party. No room for us. KBM came to our rescue and gave us a Ridge Villa without cockroaches. Our business will go to them.

Old - outdated kitchen, floors, cabinets, appliances. Original dated back about 30 years. It needs a complete remodel.Now the worst - infested with ants, cockroaches and bugs!!!! We were planned to stay there 4 nights, if any longer we would have DEMANDED another unit.Mattress was old and lumpy. The Property Management Company was GREAT! However, this individual unit was the WORST!

Needs more down stairs furniture, 4 people and only one couch that seats 3. The cleaning crew should try to get in the unit to make sure all the dead bugs all cleaned up. The kitchen sink had a bad leak.

This condo is in bad need of updating. The windows were very dirty. The furnishings are very old. The condo's in this neighborhood were built about 40 years ago. From the outside they look great but this one looks on the inside as though it is out of the 80's. The TV channels were some of the worst I have seen in a rental and very little in the way of instruction on how to use the remotes.
