Easy beach and shops access. Several amazing snorkeling spots within walking distance. Nice lanai, with a beautiful green lawn in front. Management was very responcive.

I booked this place for my son & I looking for an easy, beach-accessible vacation spot. Kiahuna Plantation was a recommendation from a friend & I can see why people come back here year after year. It's home-y, low key & the grounds are beautiful! Overall, I was pleased with the location of the unit & would come back here again!
Good:
- Location & view
- All the basic amenities, having a kitchen/fridge, beach gear!, etc.
- What you see in the pictures is what you get! It's not fancy but it's charming, clean, & great for a beach holiday.
Not-So-Great:
- Check-in did not go super smooth. Asked for early check-in & knew it wasn't guaranteed, but I could see the room was empty & ready for about a hour before the host arrived to let us in. As a single parent traveling w an 8 yr old it was challenging to just wait outside by the room w/ no urgency in the host's arrival. Texting with her was not helpful.
- Key card didn't work from Day 1. We had one working card & one that straight away didn't work. Contacted Princeville right away, they said they'd have a new one to me that day (Mon) but it never happened. The whole week went by, I checked in a couple times about it, only on the 2nd to last day they said they didn't actually have any more key cards available. All week I was worried about loosing our one key and had to recheck that it still worked every time before we left the room.
-A bit noisy in the middle of the night from a some sort of plumbing issue downstairs.

Condo nicely decorated, but cleanliness and upkeep are not up to par. Someone needs to go through and check everything. This is our fourth stay at Kiahuna Plantation (different units) and I have never been as disappointed in cleanliness and upkeep as this one.

We loved staying right on the beach, and ended up just wanting to cancel activities and stay right there! Perfect location next to Sheraton and Marriott to enjoy their pool side bars, but preferred to have our condo with full kitchen and lots of room. The grounds are gorgeous and shopping/restaurants just across the street. You won’t want to go anywhere else!

The grounds are lush with green runway leading you to the warm waters of the Pacific.. snorkling is good.. surfing good.. pool with bar/restaurant is nice but across the street.. neighboring hotels offer food/drink ... KP40 AC was great, a must, but doors falling off rails, tv and electronics at todlers height, front door latch questionable, water bugs (roaches?). Plantation theme needs modernization to allow windows for privacy, cooling efficiency and pest control.. but on a good note, parking in front of unit made in and out for drives easy... enjoyable excursion

This unit is nicely located close to a great beach for snorkeling, learning to surf, or just swimming. The A/C made it very confortable, and the apartment is quite spacious for 4 people.
Apartment was very clean, and they do have spices in the spice rack!

The grounds are beautiful and the condo was nice! Wish the complex had a pool on the property but the athletic club was nice to use. Great location near the famous Poipu Beach Park.

We had a great time using this property as our home base for a week while we saw the island in-depth. The property was clean and tidy and just the right size for two people. I like that they provided beach towels, chairs, a cooler and a well equipped kitchen. The lanai was large and comfortable and overlooked a large green belt with mature landscaping. I especially liked the fragrance of the plumeria all around the property. If I made a recommendation it would be to think about refreshing the unit as the cabinets are original. However, I liked it and would stay again!

My fiance and I stayed here for a week and really enjoyed our time! Check-in was easy since the greeter texted us in advance and met us at the condo, even though our flight was delayed. The bed and pillows are very comfy, especially for a rental unit. The A/C was great even though having the windows and balcony door open during the day was enough to cool down the unit. Even though the check-in instructions said for guests to bring their own toiletries, we were pleasantly surprised with the large bottles of shampoo/conditioner and soap. The only things missing that would've been nice is oil for cooking (salt/pepper are provided) and dish soap. But we called the property management company and they just told us to put everything in the dishwasher since they supplied dishwasher pods. The best thing about this unit was the use of the Poipu Beach Athletic Club that is across the street. A great pool area, well maintained tennis courts and basketball courts, and an open air gym. The unit had beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and a cooler for a perfect day at the beach which is steps away and wasn't packed at all. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location. We have stayed at the Sheraton previously and loved the beach and surfing at Kiahuna Beach. The advantage to the Kiahuna Plantations is the full kitchen and living space. Communication and access to the accommodations where great. It was like a home away from home. We also enjoyed the fitness centre.
Only downfalls- the place could have been cleaner, it faces north so there was never sun on the balcony and the pool is across the road and a long walk from the accommodations. We would return.

Really nice condo that's a 2-min walk to the beach. An upstairs unit that was clean and nicely decorated. The patio view is north west facing. Also included access to the club across the street where my kids spent a lot of time at the pool. We really enjoyed our stay here.
