Convenient location, nicely furnished and comfortable - AC made it livable on hot / windless days. Unfortunately KP41 is looking tired, old and in need of a remodel. What appears to be the original kitchen cabinets had broken drawers and stained bare plywood shelves. The bathroom had peeling paint & a toilet plunger wrapped in a trash bag next to the toilet. The sliding screen door to the lanai is broken beyond repair and the plantation shutters are also not functioning properly. The carpet was stained. Kiahuna Plantation is wonderful but believe the unit does not warrant the price charged.

My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay here. The property is beautiful and a short walk to a small, yet wonderful beach. The accommodations were excellent with lots of amenities.

We enjoyed our kauai stay at the condo. It was clean and the pictures represented the condo perfectly. It is nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The. Heck in was easy although we had to meet someone there that knew nothing about the condo by his own admission. An updated checkin system is needed that doesn’t require card keys.
There are boogie boards, beach chairs, and umbrellas for our use which was great. A full array of spices for cooking and a large collection of glasses ans cups. Other units (we had 4 other couples with us) we’re stocked with newer items in the kitchen.
There are a few items needing repair like the sliding glass door is nearly impossible to close and lock. The ice maker only works sporadically and the refrigerator does not have a door handle. It was an expensive condo compared to the one we rented a few months earlier in the same location but we needed to reserve 5 units in the same complex for all our friends and this complex was great for that!

Our stay at Kiahuna Plantation was everything and more. We were steps from the beach where you can boogie board, surf or just sunbathe. If you want to snorkel just go around the corner! Every evening the turtles came in to rest. They resort has beautiful grounds and you are so close to great restaurants. We can’t wait to come back!

Pros: Grounds are meticulously maintained, with huge grassy areas for play. Water toys for rent. Unit comes with cooler, chairs, body boards, and free towel rental. A/C!
Cons: Ground maintenance involves morning noise. Unit would be crowded if more than 2 people...maybe 1 child.

We had a great stay in poipu. Would highly recommend this condo and the area in general! The property was clean and well appointed, steps from the beach and plenty of dining options within walking distance.

Actually the photos don’t do the unit justice. The furniture is in good shape the island flair is tasteful and the unit was immaculate upon check-in. Very close to a great beach, warm water. The pool is across the street and quite a jaunt. First thought this was a strike against it but it was a real magnet to keep the kids away and keep the property tranquil. The cable was out our entire stay. I would stay here again, no question.

I selected this property because of its proximity to Poipu beach, it wasn't right by the road so I hoped it would be quieter and it had air conditioning. We loved the inside, had just enough room for the two of us to relax, and also loved having the beach chairs. It was very comfortable inside.
However, myh biggest complaint is the outside noise. Every morning, including Sunday, we were woken up at 8am by loud machines, trucks beeping, gardening machines, golf carts whizzing by. The inside is not insulated enough to muffle this noise, and in fact the master bedroom has a window that is essentially just a shutter and it is great for ventilation,l but not good for soundproofing. Wish we could've gotten more sleep.
It was nice to have someone come to "welcome" us, but she was very ambiguous who to contact if we needed more supplies, if something went wrong or similar. We had one tiny bar of soap for 2 people, 7 days for the shower, barely enough toilet paper and really no coffee. There was a minimal amount of low quality towels for the shower.
There was no information sheet who to contact in case of trouble, if we needed our towels replenished, needed more supplies (or if we had a right to these things). We were told since it was privately owned do not contact the office (which was next door). These are all basic ammenities we would get if we had a hotel room, and I understand this is not the same thing, but we any time we have rented a house/condo we have gotten these basic supplies.
