Waking up to a view of the ocean everyday was magical. Being on the top floor was so great. The Bed is a bit soft unfortunately and the windows don't have glass to block out sound but all the units on the property are like that. The unit is updated so well and we really enjoyed ourselves.

The rental property is great, with a fully equipped kitchen and high quality bedding, WiFi, satellite tv, etc. The owner is very friendly and provides ample information about local things to do and see. The only change I wish was made to the property grounds is to put a pool in one of the many open lawn areas so you don't have to cross the street to get to the athletic club's pool. But the beach is nice and sandy, and the proximity to the shopping centers and great restaurants is perfect!

This condo was everything it was advertised to be. Very clean, with newer finishes throughout. All the details were thought through and and the desk was helpful with any questions we had. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
This place was susceptible to rooster noises that are common throughout the island, but not any different than anywhere else we stayed in Kauai. Being on the top floor does make it less noisy.

Rented condo at Kiahuna Plantation. Our condo was beautiful as were the grounds of the property. It was very quiet and lanai was delightfulI. Itwas close to shopping and sites but our highlight was going to Poipu Beach to see the turtles come in to beach every night at dusk; then the beautiful sunsets.

The lanai was so inspirational I wanted to sleep there! But the bed was very comfy so I didn't, but I wish I could have that view every day. Artistically furnished and completely accessorized, this condo is lovely in every way. The grounds are so well cared for that walking the property is a treat. I hope that someday the orchid garden will get a gardener to bring it back. Dinner at Keoki's Paradise across the street was excellent. Photos will help me remember this wonderful place for a long time.

The condo met high expectations and the Kiahuna Plantation, Paupu, and the Island exceeded expectations. The Plantation was beautiful and well-maintained, with the beach and Paupu Beach Athletic Club a short walk away from the condo. Would highly recommend to friends.

My husband and I spent an incredible week here, and are already looking to return. The location was perfect for us as it was right by the parking lot+road, making it easy to get out for excursions (plus you could spy on the line for Little Fish). It's the farthest from the beach, but that's a boon to us as we wanted calm+ quiet away from the big family gatherings close to the beach. The view was lovely! Everything was comfortable, spacious, and relaxing. The rooms were well appointed, and the kitchen had everything we needed. All was quiet, except for the roosters (which we love). If you're a light sleeper and new to Kauai I might recommend bringing ear plugs, but we really enjoy the free range friends roaming around.
Having the pool and athletic center located across the street likely added to the peaceful environment, as we weren't hearing additional noise from the pool activity.
So thankful to have found this place, and once we can save up we will be returning.

The condo is well appointed, clean and comfortable. The grounds are just beautiful. Centrally located in Poipu and close to activities, beaches and restaurants. We were not impressed with the pool facility which was crowded mostly with kids. If you are pool people, and enjoy a quiet day poolside, this may not be your place. Other than the pool situation, this condo was perfect for us.

The owners sent us information before our stay about restaurants and activities which would be perfect for first time visitors. Some noise at night from the road though with windows open. Very nicely decorated; has been beautifully renovated updated. Other than the number of stairs to get up to the unit (which we eventually got used to) everything was perfect. This is our 8th stay at Kiahuna Plantation and it is one of best units we have stayed in.

Anyone staying in the poipu beach area is lucky to stay at this gem! Dean is so gracious, welcoming, and generous. The property is absolutely spotless, has access right to the beach, is beautifully Decorated, has stunning views, I mean we literally couldn’t have found a better place to stay! When we return to Kauai we will stay here every time. Thank you for being so amazing Dean, you made our honeymoon absolutely perfect!

My husband and I stayed at Dean's place for part of our honeymoon. We had an issue with a delayed flight getting into LIH that interfered with checking-in; I let Dean know and he refunded us for the first evening out of the kindness of his heart.
The condo was perfect perfect. It was enough space for the two of us to live about comfortably. The place was nice and cool during the night; bedroom fans helped a lot too. The location is wonderful. The ocean view is lovely; you have a great view of a row of palm trees; beautiful sunset spot!
The pool is across the street which isn't a big deal; there's a gym, basketball courts, slide, shower, and bar there as well.
Our flight was delayed and we landed in LIH around 2100; no restaurants were open (apart from right around the airport) so be mindful. Some really great spots around there for food - reservations recommended for sure. We had massages come to the place and there was enough space in the living/dining to have two tables out. Roosters everywhere, and they don't just cockadoodle in the morning; it's 24 hours but you get used to it after night one.
Loved this condo and would hands down stay again and recommended to anyone going to the area.

Description needs to mention the unit is on the third floor without an elevator for the handicapped and senior travelers. Also new softer bed pillows and a new smart TV are needed.

kiahuna is a lovely property. the white buildings and beautiful lawns right up against the beach, make you feel you’re on vacation. this particular unit is perfect, especially for a couple. well-decorated and totally stocked—sweet view of the water from the lanai. we sat out there every morning and evening. location is close to everything you need and want. thanks, dean, for an amazing stay!!! 🌸

Very comfortable and well equipped condo with a nice ocean view. The problem was that the groundskeepers made constant noise with weed whacking and mowing, chain saws maintaining the palm trees etc. Not exactly the peaceful stay we’ve enjoyed in the past. Overall, we had a great time.

I loved staying at this property. The condo is beautifully furnished and decorated. The kitchen was stocked with most supplies we could ever want (the only thing I noticed missing were bag clips, like for chips). The lanai is breezy and has a great view. As someone who thinks she can't live without A/C, I was surprised by how well I did using the ceiling fans and leaving windows open while sleeping. The only downside is being woken up by roosters, but that seems to be the case anywhere on Kauai. :)
Also - I love that the property is such a short walk to the beach. And the Poipu Beach Athletic Club, across the street, is amazing! My husband and I consider hanging at the pool there to be one of the highlights of our trip! The food and drinks at the restaurant are very good, the quasi-outdoor gym is cool, and the bathrooms were the nicest I've ever seen, ha.
I was truly sad to leave and if I'm ever back in Kauai I will definitely seek this property out! If you're on the fence, do it! The only people it's not for are those who can't do stairs and those who hate beautiful ocean views. :)

Wonderfully appointed stay in every way.
The bed is super comfy & I already ordered the pillows. Dean gives you a list of dining ideas and pointers which are super helpful.
Kitchen is very well appointed down to Henkel knives. Dine @ Plantaion Gardens, and grab an Aci Bowl across the street @ Little Fish as you head out for the day. DEFINETLY do Blue Hawaiian Helicopter tour! Worth the $$ and very professional company, once in a lifetime experience, AMAZING!!

We spent a wonderful time at this place. The appartement is tastefully furnished and decorated, and it was very clean. The walking distance to the beach is a mere 3 minutes walk and the swimming pool is also just a short walk across the street. Unfortuntately, the spacious swimming pool with a separatated children's pool and a slide is in the opposite direction of the beach. However, probably because of that, the swimming pool was never too crowded. If we ever get the chance again to visit Kauai, we would definitively come back to this appartement.

Our time in Kauai was made all the more special because of this beautiful beach condo. We loved everything about this home away from home. The owners provided everything we needed and more in the kitchen to make home made meals. The decor was clean and beautiful and created the atmosphere of a five star hotel penthouse. The bedroom was comfortable and provided lots of storage, and the bathroom had a lovely shower with wonderful water pressure after long hikes and days at the beach. We loved the view from the lanai and spent many relaxing mornings looking out at the view. When we return to Kauai someday we would be very excited to stay at this condo once again. Thank you for a memorable time in paradise, with all the luxuries of home.

I’ve been fortunate enough to have visited Kiahuna for 35 years at least once or twice every year. Understandably I’ve stayed in a number of units around the property. Kiahuna Plantation Beach House 123 is by far superior to any other unit. The owner is an architect and has done an exceptional job remodeling the interior and creating a large, extremely comfortable space with marble counter tops, travertine-lined bathroom and bamboo flooring. He has anticipated and provided for a guest’s every need in the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Furniture and artwork all appropriately reference the Aloha spirit without being clichéd or trite. Since unit is on an upper level and located at property’s rear, beach activity and noise is nonexistent and view from lanai exceptional. I cannot more highly recommend Kiahuna Plantation Beach House 123. In a word “heaven”.

We had a wonderful experience with this condo. It was clean and well equipped. It is perfectly located. It has a balcony with an ocean view that is a great spot to enjoy your coffee or bird watch. The grounds of the Kiahuna Plantation are well manicured and beautiful to walk around. Also, there is a beach that is right in front and it wasn't crowded when we were there. The Kiahuna also provided beach chairs, towels and bogie boards. Restaurants are all around this condo. We honestly didn't want to leave the south shore! The only down side was that we had to return home.

My husband and I stayed here for 10 days on our honeymoon and were very pleased with our experience! The condo was true to the pictures. The grounds of Kiahuna Plantation were incredibly well-maintained. We enjoyed the short walk from our condo to the beach because we got to walk through the beautiful gardens! We ate breakfast on the lanai almost every morning and loved the view from the lanai at sunrise and sunset. Our only complaint (and this may be common among lots of condos on Kauai) was that the doors and windows don't have glass seals. They only have screens and louvered interior shutters, so noise from the outside can be heard very clearly inside. It wasn't a huge issue because the other guests in our building were not overly loud or disruptive, but it was something we were not expecting. Other than that, we loved our stay! The kitchen is well-stocked with cooking tools, and the condo and grounds are in excellent condition. The Sheraton and the Marriott are both shorts walks from the condo, so you get the amenities of the resorts without paying the resort prices while getting the space and privacy of a condo. We thought it was a great place for a great price, especially compared to other rentals in the same area. The South Shore has tons of restaurants, sunshine in the winter, and great beaches. We thought it was the best part of the island to stay on! Be sure to check out Little Fish Coffee across the street for a great coffee/breakfast!

It's been our third trip to Kauai, and after enjoying another two weeks at this beautiful condo, my wife and I are already thinking about coming back here again...soon! Dean and Paul have done everything possible to make you feel welcomed and comfortable. From the moment you walk through that front door, you know that you are going to love this place. As with many of their other happy guests, you feel like this is your home away from home. From the awesome view of the ocean and the plantation while enjoying your breakfast on the lanai, to the close proximity to many of the popular sites and restaurants on the South Shore, the luau next door at the Sheraton, a short drive to Old Koloa Town, Friday night Art Walk in charming Hanapepe, and the list of things to do is endless! Thank you again, Dean and Paul, we are coming back!

We spent 4 days in this beautiful condo and it was real pleasure. We loved having breakfast on the lanai looking on the ocean. Condo is equppied with everything you need, even two USB chargers in the bedroom for charging iphones , camera etc. Kiahuna grounds and beach are beautiful, nice restaurants nearby in two shopping centers ( we cannrecommend Keokis for seafood, the Eating House and Tortilla Republic).
Once wencome back to Kauai we will choose Kiahuna and this condo!

This is our last day of our 2 week vacation in this amazing condo. We have been to this resort 7 times now and by far this unit has been the best. Every comfort of home is here, we were in need of nothing. The Owners, Dean and Paul are very easy to work with and accommodating in everyway right down to a list of places and restaurants to visit. We would definitely be back and highly recommend this unit if you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing vacation in an upscale unit.

The condo was nicely appointed with just about everything you need including a comfortable lanai and pleasant view of the ocean. The open-air style of the property kept it cool in the evening but took some getting use to the outside noices from neighbors and the street. We live in a rural part of town so probably more sensitive to street noice then most (somewhat sleep deprived the first week of our stay - next time we will use ear plugs or the noice machine which wasn't discovered until later in our stay). Spent alot of time at the beach in front of the property which is only a short walk from the condo. We thought this beach was better than the more advertised Poipu and Brenneke beaches!
Use of the washer/dryer in the condo would have been nice (if available) since we were there for two weeks.
All in all, a great stay in Kauai with sunshine and 80 degree weather for 2 weeks!

We had a great time, both at the condo and on the island. The condo is definitely very modern (compared to the other units I saw, it is MUCH nicer), with a beautiful kitchen, bathroom. Nice big lanai, the beach is only a 3 minute walk away, with a great grass expanse for lounging.
It's too bad that the new shopping center a few blocks away isn't totally finished yet (it only had a few restaurants open), I imagine that in 6 months it is going to be a great place to grab a bite to eat or do some shopping.
