This condo was perfect for my husband and I. The view from the lanai is amazing. The house was clean, well stocked and very comfortable. The amenities are great, everyone around the resort is friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Great condo. It's been updated and has excellent views and quiet. Have stayed on the property for several years, this is the best we've had. Has all the amenities you would need. We would never leave Kiahuna.

My husband and I spent 9 nights at this condo in September. The condo was updated, clean & comfortable. The pictures on the website don’t do it justice! The views of the ocean were amazing! It was very quiet & relaxing. The location was awesome! It is walking distance to restaurants & shops and a short drive to additional beaches, shops & attractions. The owner was very responsive to my emails. The staff on site were very friendly. We would definitely stay there again!

Closet doors were very difficult to open. Exhaust fan in bathroom did not work. Even with detailed instructions for the TV we never could figure out how to use it. However, the unit was very nicely furnished and clean with the exception of a little bit of mold in the shower niche. The bed was very comfortable and had a great dresser for clothing. Loved the pictures and decor. The view was beautiful.

Condo was amazing and location was perfect! Housekeeping was another issue. They never showed up on the days they were scheduled to the point we had to track down clean towels and toilet paper. Front desk was notified as well. Other than that would definitely go back.

My husband and I went on a week long trip to celebrate our baby moon with our 2 year old. We had a wonderful time. The property is absolutely beautiful, the beaches are big and sandy. Best beach out the south shore in our opinion. Located close to shops, main little town and other beaches it is a great location. Condo itself is just as listed. Great view, air conditioning and fans were great, comfortable bed and nice bathroom, beautiful Garden AND Ocean view. One part that was confusing was the pool is not near the beach on property you actually have to cross the main road and go up the hill to access the pool, gym and tennis courts. There is poolside service and a little restaurant just not conveniently located. Would stay again, was a wonderful trip.

The setting at Kiahuna is beautiful, with a short walk over the lawn to the beach. The unit is bright and comfortable with a well supplied kitchen. Shops and rec center with pool are an easy walk away. The balcony is perfect for relaxing any time of day. Definitely worth a return visit.

We had a great stay! The condo was beautifully updated and a great location with a beautiful ocean view from the balcony and kitchen. We met a group of family and loved the grassy area and beach-our kids took surf lessons and had an amazing time. We had a great experience-my only minor comments would be to add hooks in the condo for cloths, purses, etc and to include a designated area to hang wet swimsuits-maybe some hooks in the shower. Their was a sign to not hang wet swimsuits on the balcony but we didn't really have any other option. We used the kitchen quite a bit and the appliances were very nice-stocking the kitchen with cooking spray would be nice-we ended up buying some. The pool is a short walk away across the street and you can order food & drinks-in an ideal world the pool would be located on property but it didn't hinder our great experience at all! We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at this recently updated condo. Nice kitchen, bathroom, comfortable accommodations. The BBQs on the grounds were appreciated after a stop at Costco. Not right on the beach but nice view and you can hear the waves. A new coffee maker would be nice it took 23 minutes to make a pot of coffee in the morning!

Partial ocean view from balcony, nice/new decor, kitchen offerings supply just okay, excellent beach location, no washer/dryer in unit communal option only. I misread that in description. There are two AC units one in bedroom and one in living room which were great to have since we were surrounded by a few families with crying babies morning, noon and early evening. I would say this unit is best for families as you are very close to other units and the sound travels easily. We kept the windows closed most of the time because of the noise traveling. Luck of the draw when you rent, not the owners fault. It was fun to watch the surfers school giving lessons.

We have stayed at Kiahuna many times over the years. Unit 163 is among the nicest units we’ve rented. Its location is just off the main lawn with a great view of the ocean. It’s an upstairs corner unit which feels very private because of the vegetation despite other buildings being close by. The interior and furnishings were recently refreshed in a warm and inviting current island style which uses materials and woods inspired by the natural surroundings of the island with a slight nod to historical island traditions. The unit is very well appointed including a nicely equipped kitchen. Mahalo for sharing your beautiful island home with us. We look forward to staying in this unit on future trips to Kauai.

Loved the location not only to the surrounding areas but to a wonderful beach. The grounds were beautifully kept and all the staff we interacted with where very nice and helpful. Our unit was phenomenal...just perfect!
The only small disappointment was that the pool was across the street and consequently we never used it.
I would love to rebook this same unit again in a flash! EXCELLENT! We loved our vacay! thanks!

We had a wonderful stay at this condo! This unit is updated beautifully with all new furniture and has a wonderful view of the beach. Here are some things about the unit/resort that we loved:
- It is just a short walk to the beach which is directly in front of the resort. It is very easy to go back to the unit if needed during your beach day.
-The resort was beautiful and well maintained. We received a towel card for each guest when we checked in and beach towels are available at the hut near the beach. They also rent umbrellas for $10 day/$30 week. The resort does have lounge chairs available that are on the grass area above the beach. The lounge chairs are not allowed on the beach. There are upright chairs that can be used by guests on the beach and they can be checked out at the beach hut.
-The Poipu Shopping Village is directly across the street from the resort which is only about a 5-minute walk. There are a number of shops, restaurants and a general store
- All appliances are new. This unit has a dishwasher which we appreciated (dish tabs were provided). There is an ice maker in the freezer which we used daily. The tap water also tasted great.
-At the time of our stay, there was a closet full of beach gear. There were beach chairs, boogie boards and snorkel gear in the closet. It looked like it was all items that guest have left behind (sounds like these items are not guaranteed).
We highly recommend this unit and hope that we will be able to return to Kauai!

Wanted to get away from the day to day "rat race" of Silicon Valley and this is just what the doctor ordered. A nice place to unwind in a beautiful setting. Conveniently located to many activities if you wanted to; or just to sit and enjoy the views and sounds of the ocean.

It was a lovely place. The airport is about a 25 minute drive. We had perfect weather. We went to a couple of the hotels around for food and drinks. There is a market across the street and it is pricey but convenient. Would go back and stay again.

#63 was beautifully decorated and upgraded. Garden view but quiet spot. Would stay here again although would like an ocean view. This is a 2nd floor, end unit located at the back corner of the big garden. It's an ideal setting; both beautiful and convenient. The kitchen and bathroom have been updated and there are large, effective ceiling fans which keep things cool.
The owner is very communicative and friendly; we had postponed our trip because of Covid and he was very helpful.

We stayed a week and the condo was exactly as described and pictured. It was very comfortable, clean, and well appointed. the grounds were wonderful and the beach was great for swimming even in January. The site is close by a small shopping center with good restaurants. Loved our stay! Mahalo!

We loved our stay here and will gladly stay here again -- highly recommend!!! The unit is located on the Kiahuna Plantation Resort, nestled in between the Sheraton and Marriott properties in Poipu -- which offers quick access to nearby restaurants, shopping and spas. It's about a five minute walk to the beach, it's near the community laundry facility, and it's also fairly quiet (no traffic noise, just potential neighbors). The condition is really nice from the recent remodel and the furniture is in great shape, though the bed had a firmer mattress than I would've preferred (without any sort of padding/pillow top), though my husband loved it. Because the unit faces the setting sun, you can see beautiful colors during sunset, but it's fairly hot in the afternoons (even with shutters closed), though there are ceiling fans in every room and extra box/floor fans if you need them. You'll have basic bath towels provided, along with toilet paper, paper towels, toiletries and the kitchen comes fully stocked with equipment that you'd expect from a vacation rental (though no spices -- not sure if that's a COVID rule to not even keep salt/pepper from tenant to tenant). You can get one beach towel per person from the beach hut and free low-rise lawn chairs, though you can rent additional umbrellas and Tommy Bahama chairs for the day or week (at the time, the unit has two Tommy chairs, one umbrella and we left a cooler bag and vinyl beach mats).

We had a fantastic stay at this beautifully updated condo. The kitchen is very well stocked and the unit has several boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrellas. The trees off the patio provided a nice afternoon shade on the deck when needed. We look forward to another stay. The owners description of this unit is spot on.

We were really smitten with this condo. The design is so beautiful and thoughtful and we really enjoyed all the little details. We would definitely like to stay here on our next trip. One slight disappointment was that the pictures showed a small stereo in the kitchen and as such, we did not pack a Bluetooth speaker, however it wasn’t there when we arrived so we couldn’t listen to music over dinner. This was a trivial detail that had little impact on what was overall a wonderful experience. We highly recommend this condo to others.

My wife and I decided to go back to Kauai to celebrate her 50th birthday, with my birthday 3 days later. This being a milestone BD for her, I wanted it to be perfect. However, the word perfect does not do this property and the owners justice. IT WAS BETTER THAN PERFECT! The property, the location, the ease of use were amazing. Our comfort level with the this unit was so high, we found it difficult to leave to do the activities we had planned as we just wanted to stay put. Could not have asked for more and look forward to using this exact unit again as soon as we go back. Thank you!!

I have stayed at Kiahuna Plantation many times and the property is still lovely. The condo is clean, well-maintained and just a quick walk away from the beach. The kitchen was equipped for cooking. There is no air conditioning and it was hot (August) during our stay, but we borrowed a fan from the check-in people so had two fans to make sleeping comfortable in the condo. Overall a five-star stay!

We are so happy we chose this unit over the others that were available! They did the updates very well and the furniture is nice. After staying here I don’t think I’d want to stay in any of the other units with the old, out-dated furnishings, etc.
The unit being on the end make it so you get the most out of the trade winds at night to cool it down. Fantastic.
Lastly, loved that the place was set back off the beach, made it very peaceful and quiet.
Can’t wait to be back.

Just got back from spending 3 weeks in Kauai. Wanted to tell you how beautiful the remodel is on unit 63. Loved the floors, cabinets, omg the bathroom was amazing! We couldn't think of anything that would have made it better. We've been coming to Kauai for 12 years & we had more rain then we've ever had. The one thing we loved the most were your ceiling fans, never been around ones that put out so much air. If you could let us know the make & model, we have very high ceilings in our home & you could actually feel the air moving. Very nice job on everything! Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us & we will be back next year! Just have to figure out when!

The renovations and upgrades in this unit were very well done. The unit was very clean, comfortable, and perfect for our two person stay. The mid-stay cleaning service was a great feature as well as the towel service for beach and pool. The grounds are beautiful with a short walk to the beach or across the street to shops and variety of restaurants. Great location and short drives to anywhere on the island. The pictures of the beach here don't do it justice, it's the perfect swimming spot. The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking and had all the essentials and more. Very comfortable, large bed and newly renovated bathroom was perfect. Nice selection of beach supplies, snorkeling gear and other items available to rent on site as well. We were not ready to leave and will definitely be back!

Awesome condo, 2nd floor corner unit. Blooming Plumeria trees and tropical foliage with expansive garden view off the lanai. Tropical breezes through the unit are augmented by best ceiling fans we've ever seen in a vacation rental! Affordable, quiet, private, and comfortable with the beach just a short stroll around the corner. Nice wood finishes, beautiful local artwork, well stocked kitchen, firm bed(s), and a smattering of beach toys. Very relaxing place with helpful and knowledgeable owners. Couldn't have picked a better place to unwind thanks to Ken and Barbara!

Best of both worlds. Quiet private and breezy with beach right around the corner thru gardens. Birds plumeria breezes all in an affordable setting. Beautiful remodeled 2nd floor corner condo. Wood accents, comfy beds & furniture, well supplied kitchen and awesome Hawaii artwork. Could not have picked a nicer place with just as nice and helpful hosts. Thanks Ken for much needed vacation. I have stayed in many units at the Kiahuna Plantation and unit 63 was by far the nicest. It’s remodel was lovely. We especially appreciated the wonderful shower remodel and ceiling fan in the bathroom. The unit owner is very responsive. Overall a great stay!
