We loved staying at Kiahuna Plantation for our honeymoon! The condo was spotless and the location could have not been more perfect - beautiful property, so close to the beach, pool, and everything else in Poipu. Highly highly recommend!

Overall, an okay stay considering price but we felt a bit underwhelmed during the whole experience. WiFi didn't work when we arrived, we were given the wrong code for the door. And inside, the amenities were more than basic. Not a shower gel in sight, just a plain brick of soap. And one of the three pans was unusable because the bottom was curved. No dealbreaker individually but taken together, they add up.
On the positive side, large laundry room, good location to explore the island, decent beach at walking distance.

Great little spot within a 5-minute walk to the beach and a nice natural view of the back Lanai. Quiet condo except for the morning Contractor banging around one morning. It was after 8 a.m. so you can't complain too much.
The ding I give it is the bed felt like sleeping on large curd cottage cheese without the dairy aroma. When you consider that the most time guests spend in these condos is to sleep, why wouldn't the bed comfort be first and foremost thought. In this case, it was an afterthought at best. Awoke each morning with a sore back. No offense to large curd cheese lovers out there.

Pros: Quiet location. Close to the beach. Health Club use was great benefit. Close to shopping and dining. Comfortable bed.
Cons: ceiling fan on bedroom a little loud-needs some maintenance. Kitchen lacked staple like cooking oil and spices.
Bottom Line: we would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

My daughter and I had an amazing stay at the Kiahuna Plantation. Our 2nd time to the resort and this condo was great! It had everything we needed! We cooked breakfast and prepared lunch everyday, and of course went to the fabulous beach that's just a short 5 minute walk. Many restaurants are within walking distance too. We would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat! Next time, hopefully the standing fan in the bedroom will work. My fault, I never called it in so that's on me. Thank you again for a perfect stay!

Unit is close to the beach, gardens are beautiful, large open grass area for kids to play. Pool across the road at athletic club is lovely with options to order drinks and food. Shallow area for little kids to play safely, and a waterslide for all ages to enjoy. Amazing Hawaiian style restaurant right across the road from the property. Unit has everything you need. Recommend staying here for sure.

Great stay. The grounds are beautiful - unit is a short walk to the beach. And the roosters were barely noticeable (we stayed in a different unit last time on the plantation and they drove us crazy). Book it... you won't be sorry.

We had a wonderful holiday in unit 44, the open floor plan, privacy and quite setting made our stay pleasant and relaxing. We have stayed in many units at the Kiahuna plantation over the years, unit 44 has to be our favorite. The location, upgraded granite countertops and kitchen outfitted with everything we needed to make a meal and refrigerator with a ice maker met all our needs and desires. Thank you!

This unit is very well maintained, nicely furnished and the overall property is very special with easy beach access and towel service. The kitchen could use some work - new appliances would take it to a next level. There was a shelf in the fridge that was broken. Pots and pans and cutlery need to be replaced. The frying pan was no more than a tin can and the other pots were similarly unusable. And only four wine glasses (plus a few plastic ones) that were cloudy from excessive use. Renewing the kitchen inventory would make a big difference.

The condo has been updated and has an old Hawaii vibe. It is comfortable, well located and just across from the Poipu Shopping Village. We would definitely come back.

This was our 4th stay at Kiahuna and the first time in this condo. We had a wonderful time here, but compared to other suites in the complex the place seems a bit dated but overall it was very comfortable.

The beach was a very short walking distance through the beautiful grounds. The condo had everything we needed for light cooking. Beach chairs and umbrella were handy, but I would have liked a reclining sand chair rather than a regular lawn chair.

Overall this is a great rental. We would highly recommend it if the potential cons are not an issue for your party.
Pros: meticulously clean, nice Hawaiian decor, well stocked, beautiful grounds and property is right on the beach. Also right at the entrance to a walk path connecting to the Marriott where the rest of our party was staying. Large lanai with semi-private lawn.
Potential Cons: no AC so unit is fairly warm day and night, bed is a little fatigued and linens are stiff, no pool onsite. The public one across the highway is a trek and a family spot. If you have kids and a car to drive over I can see how you would use it. Without kids it was beach only for us, but you can only get towels over there. No bar or food onsite.

We loved nearly everything about this place! More than enough space for 2, comfy bed, clean, and short walk to the beach.
As others warned, the roosters are quite loud, so just expect that going into it. The screened windows go from floor to ceiling, with slats that you can close, but it does allow you to hear just about everything outside. Check-in was not as clear as it could have been--make sure you go to the Outrigger desk instead of the Castle desk (which is closer to the unit). Unless you know this going beforehand, there's no indication once you get there. Also, the desk closes at 8pm, so if you arrive later than that you have to call for directions to a lockbox.
Overall, would highly recommend this place for a stay in Poipu! Once we got past check-in, we loved our stay here.

Condo and property were beautiful and location was great. Beautiful beach was a few minutes walk. Seemed to be lots of maintenance workers on a daily basis - property was well cared for none the less. Pool/Activity centre was across the street which seemed far from property and we did not use because of the distance. Property owner was fantastic and was very quick to reply to questions. She really catered to us during our stay. Would stay here again.

My husband and I spent a week in this property. The location was great. The apartment has everything that you need, except from AC. We managed by using the ceiling fans, but an AC would have been nice. Overall, it was very enjoyable and we recommend this property!

We arrived and check-in was a breeze. Unit is an easy walk to the beach. Nicely shaded for October and cool trade wind breezes come through the louvered windows. Bed was comfortable. Full size shower. Lots of storage in bathroom. We really enjoyed morning coffee on the Lanai. Area was quiet.

We rented this property for our honeymoon, and it was perfect! The patio opened up to the grounds and was a 2 minute walk to the beach. This is in a great area near shopping areas and restaurants. Property is beautiful! Highly recommend

This is a wonderful condo! Great location, pretty much always shaded, lovely lanai (patio) looking out to grass area where you can walk out to the beach in just a couple minutes. Doreen was great to work with and very responsive! Overall just an amazing experience. Would recommend to my family and friends.

While the condo was well appointed, it is right next to the maintenance yard, so lots of activity with lawnmowers, blowers etc. Not a big deal, but it makes for early mornings!!😎

This is our 7th year staying at Kiahuna Plantation. This is the best unit we have stayed at. Everything updated. Beautiful access to lanai and. 1-2min walk to the ocean! We are definitely coming back here!
