We typically stay in Kihei Akahi. The condo was super convenient. It needs some minor updates, which we shared with the rental company. Overall a great trip.

Although the original listing said it was an Ocean view it turned out to be a partial view.
The place was nice and well equipped. The only problem was the bedrooms have windows that are on the walkway. They are high enough for privacy but you can hear your neighbors if they are loud in their condos in the late evenings. You can also hear people talking as they are outside of your room. I’ve stayed at this building before and never had any loud neighbors before. One more thing. The roosters get up early. Something I also never encountered in the past.

Perfect location with a great ocean view. Fully stocked with cookware and containers. Even a cooler for the travel day to Hana. A few things that could have been better… no oven mitts which was a pain, beach umbrella was broken which we didn’t find out till we packed it to the beach, pullout sofa was a little dirty but we survived. I would definitely stay there again!

We enjoyed our stay in KA #C308. You can't beat the location but the unit itself is average. The King bed was very comfortable and the kitchen has been updated. There is no coffee table, making it awkward watching tv. There is only a self and no dresser to put away your clothes. The beach chairs should be replaced as one collapsed when you leaned back. An update on these few items would make it an excellent unit

Small space. Big price. Tiny TV. No bath matt. More TP, limited laundry detergent. Supplies should be based on length of stay.
Needs sound deadening from outside hall in bedroom.

This property was great for our one week stay in Kihei! It was clean and centrally located to everything we wanted to do in Maui and the host had a great selection of additional items (boogie board, beach chairs, umbrella, snorkels) that made the stay even better.

Check in was easy and parking was great. Location is awesome. Bedroom is far from “bright” as they describe. Windows In the bedroom are unreachable, and on top of the closet is absolutely filthy. There was a broken plate in the drawer that had not been cleaned up. Communication with the host via the VRBO app very slow - ended up just calling them and getting sassy answers about questions we had.

Very clean! Great location! Everything you need! Walking distance to the beach, cute shops, and restaurants. The only conn was the horrible toilet that only flushed 50% of the time. If this gets fixed I highly recommend this spot.

This condo was exactly what we were looking for. The location is excellent steps away from beaches stores and restaurants. Having coolers, beach chairs, snorkels, boogie boards and beach towels was so appreciated. Clean condo with AC and a comfortable king bed. Bonus you can watch the sunset from the lanai. We want to come back!

The property is a short walk from the beach, shops and restaurants in Kihei, The landscape is beautiful. The parking is reserved and that’s convenient. We appreciated the beach chairs, towels, and boards in the closet. We’d stay there again without hesitation .

Overall, we (family of 4) enjoyed a week long stay in this condo.
The condo is nicer than the photos. It has a decent size bedroom and living room. The kitchen is well equipped with pots, pans, and cutlery. There are enough pillows and bedding for converting the sofa to bed. The sofa bed is ok for 2 kids under 12. There are plenty of towels for beach visits. There are beach chairs, boogie boards, beach toys, etc. for a fun beach outing. The best part is the view from the lanai.
The condo is at a great location in Kihei just across from the beach. The shopping center and restaurants are at a walking distance. The registration process at the condo office was quick. Would definitely recommend it.

We always say it pays to stay in a condo so you can buy groceries and use the kitchen instead of staying at a hotel. Overall worked well for our small family.
