The apartment was nice. The balcony was a bit cluttered and there was sand on it as well as sand in a few different areas inside. The welcome bag was a nice touch and the facilities within the apartment were great with lots of towels, laundry items, and I love the Tommy Bahama chairs to use. The fridge freezer looks old with stains on the side but it’s fully functional. The walkable area is great for food options and friendly restaurants and coffee shops. The beaches are unfortunately not in great shape as this tide comes in so close that they are too narrow to spend the day at. Even the locals were saying the beaches have been eroding more this past year. That being said there are some great beaches just a 5-10 minute Uber ride away.

This condo was perfect for a relaxing getaway. It had beach chairs and an umbrella, which is always wonderful to have for a beach vacation! Vacasa was very accommodating and we loved booking through them. Hopefully we will be back soon!

We had a great time staying at this Condo, beautiful and clean and had everything we needed, location is perfect, close to the beach, restaurants, bars and shopping. I've stayed Kihei Akahi before and love it. My friend wishes the coffee mugs and wine glasses were larger. The safe we couldn't get it to work, and the fan in the bathroom wasn't working (something the owners may want to check into for future issues) Our only issue was the hidabed, we did notice the couch and chair are brand new, and look lovely, but the metal bar that runs under the mattress, gets you right in your back, but we solved that issue using a large blanket rolled up and put it between the mattress and the metal bar, problem solved. We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at Kihei Akahi for a whole week. We really enjoyed that the complex was just across the street from the beach, walking distance to stores and restaurants. Even better that the units were just up off the road a bit with no traffic noise. Well stocked kitchen, towels, a few beach items as well. Two pools and tennis court on site were wonderful. We would stay here again. Only complaint is very very loud obnoxious chickens outside that kept us awake a few different nights. Would stay here again.

Walking distance to a great beach for kids. This unit needs updating though. Extremely uncomfortable sofa bed made sleeping difficult. Dull knives, broken cabinet and broken window (wouldn’t open), broken beach umbrella, and stained carpet need to be fixed. Other than that and the price (way too much!) a great spot for our family of four.

We really enjoyed our stay. The place is in a great location, ac worked great, bed was comfy… would definitely stay again. It’s not a fancy resort by any means but clean and comfortable. The bath towels were a little scratchy and the bathtub should probably be refinished soon but not terrible.

Keep in mind the following: The bath room light would go on and off I would be the shower and the light would go out Second the air conditioning did not work half the time. It was clean but I think your place needs some work

Old and neglected. Everything , including dishware, was decades old. No ac or airflow in bedroom. Broken furniture. Rusty tub. Old linens. Smelly towels. Mango tree by the office is nice. Close walk to food and beach. Pick another unit.

The location is great, you’re right across the street from the beach. There’s food and drinks right around the corner. The room itself is great. It’s bigger than the photos make it out to be. Lots of towels and sheets as well as washer and dryer, iron and board. There’s a few water sports items in there as well. This was a very clean and great location. Nice clean unit. Great location. It’s a little noisy in the area with the neighbors and bird chatter but other than that everything was good.Note there isn’t AC in the bedroom.
