Hale Kamaole is a South Maui condominium complex located across the street from Kamaole Beach Park III, one of the most popular, family-friendly, and lifeguarded beaches on Maui. Enjoy spectacular sunsets from your private lanai or head to the beach for a romantic evening stroll along the shoreline under a canopy of starlight. These spacious rentals, set in beautifully landscaped grounds, are an ideal setting for a relaxing sun-soaked vacation. Catch some rays next to one of two pools on the property, choose to play some tennis at the on-site tennis court, or toss a Frisbee around on the sprawling grass lawns. All condos also have free WiFi access. The outdoor barbeque areas are a must for grilling the perfect dinner, and you'll love indulging in a night out at a large selection of nearby restaurants in Kihei or Wailea. Also choose to shop at a variety of stores located along South Kihei Rd or at the boutiques showcased at the Shops at Wailea. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great location. No issues. AC is in bedroom only, so living room can get a little stuffy, but ocean breezes and several nice fans kept things comfortable in late July/early August.

The positives: I’ll start by stating that this unit is very clean. It is well stocked with towels, utensils, and other items for daily needs. The location is perfect. It is located in short walking distance to the pool and the beach. There was also a very thoughtful welcome bag waiting for us upon entry. The negatives: The unit is very clean…however, we found roaches in the bathroom and roaches under the kitchen sink. Housekeeping provided roach traps the second day of our stay to help assist with the bug problem. I instantly wanted a refund. We arrived at night so when reporting the issue the staff notified me that a refund was not possible. I could not find a hotel to accommodate us due to the last minute nature of the issue. It was very disappointing to find roaches when looking for a comfortable stay. The place is beautiful but may need someone to come spray the unit to rid of the roaches. I would not stay here again due to bugs. I don’t want anything crawling in my suitcase and I end up bringing roaches to my home upon my return.

We were a bit confused about checking out, the front desk told us upon arrival to just leave everything locked and turn off air conditioning. The sign inside said the same thing. We didn’t get a check out message but after we landed back home at 4pm. Hopefully everything is well.
