Whenever I go on vacation, I spend very little time in my room. This place was pretty perfect. This trip I took my aunt and blind uncle. We all had enough room that we didn’t feel like we were crowded and the open floor plan was easy for him to navigate. I slept on the wall bed and it was extremely comfortable and I gave them them the bedroom. There was everything you could possibly need provided in the apartment and we only had to buy what we wanted to eat and any special items we use. I only have three complaints and they are easily fixed. One, none of us wear shoes in the house and the floor wasn’t cleaned very well and our feet were gross. Two, the lowest setting in the stove is HIGH, the flames should probably be adjusted. Three, the bed in the bedroom should really be replaced, it is two pretty worn out twins put together to make a king we had to shove pillows under the mattresses where it sagged really bad. Overall though, I’d stay here again.

The location in south Kihei can’t be beat. Walkable to lots of restaurants, retail, etc… and all three Kameole beaches. Beaches II and III are great for snorkeling; lots of fish and even turtles. The unit itself is well-stocked with almost anything needed, and the welcome pack from Vacasa was a very nice touch. Only thing to be aware of: the bedroom backs up directly to the building elevators and trash room, so opening the window for fresh air into the BR means noise from sometimes loud people as early as 7:00 am (or maybe earlier depending upon sunrise times). Otherwise, we very much enjoyed Kihei Akahi and would return!

We’ve stayed in complex four times before and have been very happy. This unit has nice kitchen amenities and tables and chairs but bed and couch are both very worn out. Right side of bed has huge sag in it. Also, this is right by elevator that all higher floors use, and was frequently very noisy, even late at night.

It was alright staying here, but room for improvement. Both boogie boards were either broken or falling apart, unusable. One beach chair had an arm broken. The ice chest's handle isn't secure, falls apart when carrying ice and beverages in it. Initially when we checked in the room appeared clean, but upon closer inspection, dishes were not all clean, and the coffee pot had mold growing on the burnt coffee grounds (that needed to be chipped off the glass). Both beds were comfortable, the AC worked. Location was perfect, quiet and a very short walk to Fred's/Moose restaurants. Minutes to Wailea, so you get the best access to both towns, which I love.

This property is in an excellent location within easy walking distance to the beach and many services. It has a spectacular view of the pool and surrounding gardens. The unit was very well stocked with every comfort.

This condo is conveniently located in Kihei and is on the ground floor which is nice. The kitchen is well appointed with everything we needed, and the bed is comfortable. There's air conditioning, but the bedroom is a bit warm--has a fan. It's across the street from Kamaole Beach II. Saying that there's an ocean view is a bit of a stretch; there's a postage-sized peek at the ocean between buildings and trees. Still, the lanai has a pretty view of the pool and greenery. Enjoyed it.

Loved the location to the beach, the access to a pool and the full kitchen. Overall would definitely stay here again.

The house is located in a central area and surrounded by great restaurants and groceries stores. It has a nice space and everything you’ll need. It definitely needs an update around the house, more light and new ceiling fans. Vacasa was very helpful and responded fast when we encountered issues.

The grounds are extremely well kept and the unit was fantastic. I thought it was going to be a little closer to S. Kehei Rd without the incline to get to back area where bldg c is located.

Smooth check in. Location was fabulous! Location of the condo AND location of the unit. Nice and quiet. View of the pool was great to be able to gauge when to go (busyness or sun/shade). Pickleball/tennis court was nice to reserve a spot and play daily. (Sensitive smoke alarm- so turn the fan on before you start cooking.) The Murphy bed was a nice change to the couch pull out. AC was effective in the main part of the condo. The back bedroom was tougher to cool down but anticipating a hotter day the fan helped bring the cool air in. Ground level from parking was great! The beach stuff was nice to have on hand with pool noodles available for the kids. It was nice to have a washer and dryer on site to know we didn’t have to pack so many outfits. We drove to Wailea everyday for coffee and breakfast! (Akamai Coffee Co.) It was a quick drive. Walked to the beaches easily. (Kam II and Kam III) It was a lovely stay! We would stay here again for sure!
