We’ve stayed here multiple times with our family and it never disappoints. It is always spotless and ready to go when we arrive. It has multiple amenities beyond the bare bones we’ve had at other vacation rentals, including an abundance of beach equipment (THREE giant beach umbrellas, 6 beach chairs, body boards, coolers etc). In short, it has everything you could need or want to enjoy the many things Kauai has to offer, and with the pool/spa and remodeled kitchen it is a relaxing home base to rest and relax at following a day in the sun. We will definitely be visiting again!

Wake to coffee (from that fancy espresso machine) on a back porch seeing greenery and the ocean. Soak in the pool later. Close walk to the beach with no one on it. BBQ on the back porch for dinner. Jacuzzi soak in the evening.
Why leave the house?
But when we did, there were boogie boards, a surf board in the garage...oh, and lawn chairs and umbrellas!

The house was beautiful and clean. Location was perfect for us. 10 min drive (or less!) to about anything on the North shore. Extremley safe neighborhood. Which is the most important. But, as other reviews mentioned, issues with the pool/hot tub. The un useable small spa remote and non existing directions were a problem. I never received assistance from Vacasa but was able to go into the crawl space to find the main panel for the pool and used that. They only use text for communication and it is not a local contact. Although they said they would get back to me, they never did. (Please give directions on using the spa!) They also had confirmed it was ocean view but there was only a smidge or the ocean in the far, far distance. The bike tires were flat but they did deliver a pump within 24 hrs. It has no AC, but that was OK for us in early June. The doors were put on backwards so to go outside you had to open the left side of the french doors but then also unlatch the right sideof the french door as the screen door was on the opposite side from the french door.

The pool was the best part. The house was aesthetically pleasing. Very cutely decorated. All looked good at first glance. Open kitchen which was nice. The place has no air conditioning as it’s not common in the island to have AC . Which was fine except the bedding was cheap cotton sheets that didn’t breathe - the pillows were not good quality especially for the price paid per day/week. The porch room was filled with mini geckos which would have been fine but we wanted to have a teen sleep out there. The main floor bedroom had cockroaches in the room and bathroom. Both surprises on different mornings. The kitchen counter was filled with ants. Wouldn’t have been a big deal if they had the little ant raid pods but they didn’t. The grill was very worn down and ran out of gas the first night. Again under whelming patio table and grill for the price. I’d be more selective next time for sure. Regardless the island made everything amazing. Outside of those items mentioned it had towels, bikes, buggy boards and kitchen was well stocked.

This house was amazing - we stayed with 6 people with a range of ages (7 - 55) and it was comfortable, quiet and the view was spectacular! Flowers, chickens, and geckos and were a feast for the eyes while we sat on the lanai. The pool and hot tub were great to off set time at the beach (we loved snorkeling at Anini) - the only issue we had were the controls to turn the hot tub on and off but the host sent someone to check it out within 30 min and they were able to show us how to get it working for our stay. It was a perfect place to spend a family vacation and we will definitely book again when we come back! Mahalo!

This home is absolutely perfect! The large open windows allow you to take in the beautiful backyard view and lets in so much natural light all throughout the house! The kitchen had everything we needed (and more) to make delicious meals indoors when we wanted. The beds were super comfortable, and the bathrooms were stocked up with plenty of towels and necessities such as toiletries, soaps, and shampoos! We loved how they provided plenty of beach chairs and beach umbrellas, allowing us to enjoy hours at all the beaches we visited! The house is in the perfect location, near many beaches, such as Hanalei Bay, Anini beach, and Hideaway beach. The pool and hot tub was an added bonus to end each day! We had a week in paradise...we would definitely go back to this house in the future!

We were so lucky to find this home for rent for our stay in Kauai! The home was well appointed with kitchen amenities, bathroom amenities, towels for the pool, boogie boards, bikes, etc. There were four adults and two kids under six with us. Having the pool and hot tub and lots of space inside the home made for a very relaxing experience. The neighborhood is beautiful and just a short walk to a playground and Princeville market. Added bonus… You can see the ocean from the patios! I would highly recommend this home to others! Thanks for a fabulous stay!

We had a wonderful week. When we arrived, the hot tub was cold, I called and within hours, it was fixed. The only slight drawback is you have to go out the front door and around the house to access the pool.
Very clean and comfortable. Would book this home again.

Great home with a great location! Beautiful home that fit our family of 6. Loved making our own food and soaking in the hot tub at night. The extras made the trip - surfboards, cooler, beach chairs, towels! Made it a lot of fun!

We really enjoyed our stay at Saltwater Hale. In particular the kitchen is spectacular, and we really liked cooling off in the pristine pool. The two smaller bedrooms were great for our older children, though might not be ideal for adults. We were thrilled to find cane toads in the yard at night and got a kick out of watching the egrets chase the lawn mower. 4/5 stars because we were looking forward to riding the bikes that are pictured in the photos and were told not to, but overall very satisfied.

House was clean and had the necessary amenities. Pool is great for the kids and family when you're to tired to go to the beach. Enough space for our family of 6. Lenie's are where my kids liked to spend the afternoons watching the birds around the property. I would definitely stay here again.

We came here as a family! This is a great house with a pool and a jacuzzi. The two kids love the pool! The adults love the jacuzzi.

Gorgeous home with tons of space in a lovely neighborhood. All of the beds were super comfortable. Hot tub and pool were very clean. Plenty of kitchen gadgets, beach equipment including surfboards and beach towels. Vacasa local staff were excellent and easy to reach.

What a vacation! This property was absolutely stunning. From the beautiful beaches, hiking trails, delicious food, shopping, and the warm and comfortable home, this was the best vacation we have had. The house was perfectly located for all of the different activities along the North Shore and was filled with all the amenities for cooking, internet and even fun at the beach. The beds were extra comfortable and the neighborhood was nice and quiet. The pool was an added bonus. The communication was fantastic and all needs/necessities were more than met.
We look forward to going back again one day soon!

I loved this home and everything about it! It's conveniently located in Princeville and a 10 minute drive to Hanalei, and only a 5 minute walk to the trail to Queens Bath. The neighborhood is great, friendly and quiet. The home is well stocked with all the towels, cleaning supplies and conveniences you'd need for your stay. The Marine doors are an awesome touch! You'll absolutely love your stay in this home!
