Our family spent a lovely week staying at this property. Absolutely loved the super short walk to the beach. Anini beach was great. Shallow and warm, good snorkeling and we watched lots of sea turtles. Home is a dated—fun to daydream and discuss possible updates.

The rooms and location were fantastic. The only shortcoming is the missing air conditioning.

Other than a few motorcycles early in the morning going down the street (house is close to road), everything great!

This place was perfect. The house was well stocked with everything we needed to relax and make meals. We had a party of 7 and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Great outdoor sitting areas and the kids loved the jacuzzi. Just across the street from Anini beach, where even the locals were jealous of the house's proximity! This is "the beach" to go to according to the locals if you have kids, want to snorkel or paddleboard or just relax on the beach. The kids went snorkeling every morning to see sea turtles and fish. Also, very close to Hanalei and Princeville for market and restaurant options. The north part of the island gets you away from the big resorts and "commercial" feel of Hawaii. I will try and book this property again next time we come back.

The property was beautiful and the beach location perfect for our family get together. We had a great time. The only thing that wasn't as advertised was the hot tub didn’t work. It would have felt good after a day of kayaking and hiking. I would rebook this property again.

This spacious three bedroom house was perfect for a family vacation, right across the street from Anini beach. Quiet neighborhood yet convenient to Princeville Foodland and easy drive to Hanalei

Upon arrival I was disturbed by the grounds being so cluttered. There had been a storm, but it seem to be worse than that. It was cleaned up within two days. We found the bathrooms and the kitchen to be very clean, although the carpeting, the sectional, and the pillows all need a thorough cleaning. We washed pillow covers because they were disgusting.

Absolutely stunning home! Great location! The check-in process was a little rough from the start. We were not in receipt of the check in instructions on how to actually access the property itself. It took close to an hour going through Vrbo to reach someone to get the instructions sent to us via email. Once we got to the home the home was absolutely stunning. It was late in the evening, but the morning sun rise, highlighted exactly what the property was all about and we could’ve been any happier. Woke up to the ocean and roosters :)

Location is perfect! We walked across the street to ‘our beach’ and daily location under a huge tree. We watched the sunset each night with a glass of wine and then went back to a very warm house. That was the one drawback. We realize we are in Kauai and AC is not the norm but it was so warm even with fans everywhere- ceiling and floor. You will need and use all the fans. We did have some days where the temperature and trade winds cooled the house. The nights were good for sleeping as it would cool down. The front lanai was our favorite spot to gather after dinner. Beds were very comfortable. Snorkeling equipment and paddle board were great to have! A few small suggestions- only found 2 kitchen towels, need more! My daughter rented a few baby items for our 4 month old grandson which is a great service available if traveling with an infant including a pack and play- THERE WAS ONE IN THE MASTER BEDROOM CLOSET! I even called Vacasa to find out if there were any baby items in the home. Please add to you list of items for this house!! Also there were 3 empty propane tanks for the BBQ so we had to cook chicken inside Friday evening. Called to request tanks and they were delivered on Sunday. Anini Beach is such a beautiful spot! Hope to return!!

This home is spacious, comfortable, well equipped, thoughtfully decorated and incredibly located. So many spaces for lounging - both a front deck and a back one - as well as a large family room with comfy furniture. The beds too were amazing. There was tons of beach equipment provided - everything you could want or need! The home sits directly across the street from one of the beach accesses to Anini - a gem of a beach and an ideal place for snorkeling or playing in the sand with little ones or relaxing. I highly recomment this home and hope to stay there again!

This was an amazing location for our family. Three children under the age of 7, a teenager, and my wife and I. We thoroughly enjoyed the home and being so close to the water. It was easy to set up a spot on the beach in the morning and go back and forth between house and beach all day. Water was great. Anini is some of the calmest water and most protected beach in Kauai. Great place for paddleboarding, seeing sea turtles, snorkeling, playing with the kids, etc. Highly recommend this home. There is an option to rent the small cottage behind the home. Would recommend that too.

Walking across the street to the beach was amazing, especially since the beach is pretty secluded and we always found a shady spot to hang out. The house was beautiful and spacious, just had several quirks. Would have been nice to be told of these ahead of time instead of trial and error. Washer and dryer only worked on certain settings, no cold water at kitchen sink, screen door doesn’t close properly (mosquitoes everywhere) and bathtub jets don’t work. We also had a few other issues that were resolved, but communication was difficult since you have to go through Vacasa and not the local team. Also just a heads up there is limited to no cell phone service depending on your carrier. Wifi worked great though and we really enjoyed all the amenities the house had to offer. Vitamix, rice cooker, SUP and surf board, tons of beach chairs and snorkel gear. We were lucky to have courteous renters in the house directly behind this one so noise was not an issue. For the price, we expected a more flawless experience but that being said, we’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

The house has a fantastic location: steps from the beach!! 2 great lanais. Inside, everything you need. It is very Spacious. One problem we encountered was with the dishwasher: first time we use it, the dishes aren’t cleaned. I contact Vacasa team: very professional and I’m told someone will be there the next day and to expect a call or text message. Well nobody came, called or ever texted. So no dishwasher for us for the whole week. Upon leaving, we talked to cleaning crew who told us we would get some kind of refund, but we havent received any news of that. So bottom line, be prepared to be on your own on this one. Once again the place is super well located, is very nice, well appointed but if you have a problem, good luck. Be aware, there is no a/c. It did not really cause a problem, we were there in late October.

The house is beautiful and really well kept. There's lots of space and they have well appointed amenities. The jacuzzi tub wasn't working when we were there and that would have been a great extra benefit. However, everything else there was terrific.

Best part of our stay at this house was the convenience of the beach access right across the street.

Place is as nice as advertised. Had all the beach gear needed. Can't ask for a better location. We thought the lack of a/c might have been an issue but never even noticed. We did have issues with the oven when we tried to use it. I'm sure a quick maintenance check would resolve that though. Regardless, I would definitely stay there again.

The location on Anini Beach was perfect. A short walk to the beach and short drive to Princeville and Hanalei. The house is incredibly hot from Noon to 10 pm even with a decent wind outside and the windows and doors fully opened the home does not enjoy the benefits of the “trade winds. It becomes so hot you need to be outside. The snorkeling equipment wasn’t any good so you need to buy or bring your own. The pillow cases in the master bedroom did not fit the pillows. No sponges or dishcloths were available to wash the dishes and the dishwasher would run for hours. We were unable to get the Sonos system to work despite 2 calls to Vacasa. The neighbors next door in the blue house woke us up at 7 am whike using their lanai as a remote office on one occasion and at night we could hear them washing and putting away dishes in the kitchen at 11 pm while trying to sleep in the master bedroom. We were told trash pick up was Tuesday mornings and twice our trash was not collected. The home was stocked with plenty of towels and the beds were comfortable. The house would cool off after 10 pm so it was not impossible to sleep. There are numerous portable fans which we used constantly.

Overall, a great property and location. Spacious and clean, we enjoyed stand up paddle boarding on the calm waters in the morning. Well-stocked equipment shed - SUP, boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, snorkel gear, etc. The only thing to be forewarned is that the West-facing 2 rooms and family room can get HOT! When we arrived, we immediately opened all the windows, and hung out on the lanai, which is nice and breezy. Watched a movie from 7-9 in our swimsuits. By 9, the West facing rooms had cooled down enough to sleep. The master faces East, so it stays cool. The next two nights, it rained overnight so the rooms stayed cool until the early afternoon. It wasn’t a huge issue for us as we were out and about during the day, but if you have little kids that need to nap in the afternoon, they will have to do so in the master. But overall, an excellent experience and location!

Great location, lovely house, appreciated the stand-up paddle boards, beach chairs, etc. provided, Wi-fi super fast. The kitchen, however, needs an upgrade - dish washer can't wash to save it's life (we had to do it by hand), oven can't cook a thing (we relied on the BBQ), sink faucet was stuck on the pull-out sprayer and trash and recycling bins too small. We had fun.

The home was beautiful and very spacious. The bedrooms were all good sized and the beds and futons were comfortable. There was plenty of room for a large family and the dual patios made for a great outdoor space. The access to the beach was incredible. Having relaxing mornings and evenings was so nice; couldn't have been more than a 3 minute walk back and forth to the calmest beach around. The only negative as others have pointed out is the lack of A/C. This is common in the area, but as this house has a skylight, the heat gets a bit rough in the afternoon and the nights are a bit warm. There are many fans which helped, but A/C would make this one of the best stays in Hawaii. The parking is also very tight so if you have a large vehicle it may be difficult to get in and out. Overall, this was a beautiful house with great Hawaiian style touches and the beach was amazing.

The house is comfortable and spacious and the Anini Beach location while a bit busy with traffic is lovely with convenient access to the beach itself. The location is also convenient for both East shore and North shore exploring.
