This condo has an awesome environmental vibe to it. The view from the deck is tough to beat! Very well appointed bedrooms/living room/bathrooms. Great Wi-Fi. The beach toy box has just about everything you might need. I would definitely stay there again.

Makena Surf B202 was amazing. The property was just as described in the listing. However, I will say that no description can do justice to the views from the patio. The condo was clean, organized and had everything we needed for the week. The management company and owners were so helpful with any questions we had and very communicative with us. If you are looking for a beautiful place to stay that is very well taken care of, B202 is your place. We can't wait to book another trip there.

Wailea is a beautiful area where this condo is located.
It is very quiet here. As you walk in the front door, the views capture your attention right away. The sunsets are spectacular. This condo was perfect in every way. For two couples, it worked out very well.

We enjoyed our stay at Makena Surf! The view is unreal! We loved sitting out on the lanai and the very short walk to the beach below was amazing. The hosts were great and we appreciated that there was a washer/dryer and the place was well stocked with beach gear to use. Would definitely stay here again!

Overall this property is exactly as shown - except better! Clean, organized and right on the beach! Direct access to both the pool and the beach. Has everything you need provided. Great communication from the owner and worth every penny! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

This beautiful condo is situated right on the beach, facing west, allowing for breathtaking sunsets. It is well cared for, clean and updated with modern furnishings and appliances. It is stocked with all dishes, cookware, utensils and small appliances that you might need to prepare meals at the condo. There are plenty of towels (even beach towels) provided. I really enjoyed looking at the owners’ photographic art on the walls. Snorkeling was awesome off the beach in front of the condo…lots of turtles and colorful fish. The waves were higher the last two days and the kids (age 22 and 23) enjoyed using the supplied boogie boards : ) There were also very nice beach chairs and umbrellas we used most days. We didn’t end up going to the pool/hot tub, but it was right outside the front door and looked very nice. We have stayed in a lot of beachfront condos over the years, and this one has the best view we have ever seen. Overall, I wouldn’t change a thing.

Fantastic condo in a very nice development in Makena. Even better than the pictures, and ideal for our family of four. The condo is very well maintained and the owner has clearly thought of everything one could need, including beach gear and pickle ball equipment. We loved the place so much that we found ourselves just hanging out at the condo and taking in the incredible views of Molokini from the deck rather than running around the island, which made for a very relaxing vacation. Loved snorkeling with the turtles right out in front of the condo! Excellent communication from the owner and the property manager throughout the process made for a seamless experience. We will definitely be back!

I had very high expectations of the property based on the description and they were summarily exceeded. Views from the balcony were amazing, great snorkeling with turtles right off the beach area, and a nice private beach area really stood out. Absolutely would stay again!

This is a great property with a few minor shortcomings. The view and proximity to the beach are amazing! Shortcomings: there were no paper towels or reusable clothes in the kitchen. No surface cleaning sprays or Kleenex and the body wash dispenser was almost empty. Nicely remodeled kitchen and baths, but furniture is very tired and beds are not comfortable. Good beach equipment, but only one working snorkel set.

We've stayed in multiple units in Makena Surf. The resort is gorgeous and relaxing. This owner was very responsive and helpful. I would agree with another comment that the furnishings are slightly tired, but balanced out by being in B building - practically on the beach..

The Makena Surf complex is truly an outstanding location. We will return for certain. Our manager (owner) was very available and helpful. They are to be commended.
The rates are on the high side but the value is there. A little nicer furniture quality would be appreciated, along with a better master bed. More comfortable seating would also be helpful. Kitchen/dining amenities are tired and could us replacement.

Echoing prior reviews, this is a fantastic place to stay. The unit is sparkling clean, updated, and comfortable, just as pictured.
While the location is great for a variety of Maui activities, it is especially ideal if your priority is ocean time, as was the case for us (2 adults/2 kids). We spent hours every day swimming and snorkeling on the beautiful beach out front. Everything we needed was provided. The pool, hot tub and tennis courts are also just steps away. We all came home relaxed and refreshed.
Communication with the hosts was great, and their Maui recommendations were spot-on. We can't wait to come back.

The location overlooks the beach and is close to the pool, providing easy access to both. Communication was great and we were provided with recommendations for activities/restaurants/rentals prior to our visit. The property appears as listed and it was perfect for my family's needs. We were celebrating a birthday and college graduation and a card with congratulations was waiting for us. It was a nice touch!

The title says it all. The views are like nothing you can get at a hotel or most other condos. The beach is mere steps from the condo. The sunsets are incredible! We really enjoyed our stay at MS B202. Fantastic snorkeling was right off shore with numerous resident turtles all around. All the snorkel tours stop right off shore so go early. The condo is very nicely remodeled with modern appliances, etc. If we had any minor issues they were quickly addressed by the property mgr/owner. The condo has beach chairs, a boogie board, etc. available for use which was really nice. We used the grill that worked great. We ate most of our meals in. My only tip would be if you are not familiar with Samsung smart TV's to bring your own streaming sticks (i.e. Roku). We had some issues consistently getting the TV's to work properly in the bedrooms when not out at the beach (easily could have been user error) and would have just been easier with our own streaming sticks.
Overall fantastic experience and incredible location! We will stay here again in the future for sure!

This was the best overall Hawaiian condo experience we've ever had. Great view of beach. It's about 2 minutes walk to/from that beach to condo. Saw 3-4 turtles every day on that reef. Tennis and pickle ball are just as close. You have to walk around a nice pool and hot tub to get to courts. So much fun to be had. Home is completely stocked for all the fun and comfort. Hosts are exceptionally responsive and helpful. You can't go wrong staying here.

Outstanding location and view. The condo has been upgraded and everything is first class. The only improvement we would make would be more comfortable lanai furniture and deck umbrella for the intense afternoon sun. We would definitely stay here again.

This property was the bee’s knees! Beautiful location. Direct beach access. Sunset views. Immaculate (I’m VERY difficult to please in cleanliness dept). And communication was easy. The VRBO app was not loading, so the very specific/thorough directions were not available. So, advise future travelers to screen shot directions or flag email, to resource, as entrance gates can be a little tricky. Overall, we would absolutely return in a heartbeat. We didn’t want to leave the grounds to go anywhere else. Don’t hesitate! If I had one constructive suggestion, it would be mattress toppers on the beds. Other than that, no other suggestions. It was PERFECTION! 🙌🏼

The description of the unit is 100% correct. There is no exaggeration. You get exactly what you see in the listing and pictures. The unit is very clean and updated. The homeowner has the unit very well stocked with everything you need to enjoy your vacation - beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, noodles and more. The property owner and property manager were very helpful and responded to my questions while we were on the premises very quickly. If you are looking for a quiet getaway, this is your place! The beach was not crowded at all and is literally a 2 minute walk from the unit. You will love it!

My family of four just spent a wonderful and relaxing week at this beautiful, well-equipped condo. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted with a full ocean view with Molokini, Kahoolawe, and Lanai in the background. It takes only a minute or two to walk to the beach, which never felt crowded. We found ourselves swimming with several turtles who were going to and from Turtle Town. There is a nice pool and hot tub right outside the front door and an even larger pool in the main complex as well as a fitness center. The condo has everything you need for a perfect day at the beach including umbrellas, beach chairs, and boogie boards. We took advantage of the Weber grill and well-stocked kitchen to mostly eat in, enjoying meals out on the lanai where we had front row seats to beautiful sunsets every day. We had grand plans for adventures on Maui but we ended up spending most of our time on the beach right outside the condo. That’s probably the only downside of staying here — that you might enjoy it so much that you won’t want to leave!

Words cannot describe this property and its location. My husband, two daughters ages 14 and 10 stayed at this property for 5 days at the end of June. The condo itself is immaculate and the lanai is beyond words - absolutely gorgeous. We loved the view of the ocean and the sunset as well as the access to the ocean. It really is right outside the lanai. The pool and hot tub are great too but we couldn't stay away from the beach. It is in a quieter part of the island but just two miles from lots of action in Wailea. We drove the road to Hana and up to Honolua Bay with ease so you can get all around the island from here. Highly recommend!

I stayed here with one other couple for nine days. We had an amazing time.
- The condo is newly remodeled. The fixtures, carpet, kitchen, bathrooms, everything is new and in great shape.
- Because of COVID restrictions it was hard to get into restaurants. So we ended up doing a lot of take-out and some cooking. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you will need, including lots of wine glasses!
- The location of the condo is AMAZING. It is right on the beach. I would say it has the best views of all the condos at Makena Surf. Watching the sunsets from the lanai was the highlight of our trip.
- The beach in front of the condo is great. It has a private feel to it. Great sand, swimming, snorkeling, and turtle watching. It takes about 30 seconds from the time you leave the condo until you are on the beach!
- Communicating with the owner was easy and efficient.
We will definitely stay here again the next time we come to Maui.

My wife and I decided to return to Maui to celebrate our 40th anniversary (we celebrated our 20th there as well). We had stayed at Makena Surf before and felt it was a perfect fit for us. When we found Suparna and Manish’s property, we felt like it was a perfect fit and it was.
The owners have anticipated everything their guests could need, whether first time visitors to Maui or returning multiple times. Every conceivable question had been anticipated and included in their “funtabulous” guide. Communication and recommendations were superb and the property manager, Phoebe, was a dream to work with.
Traveling to Hawaii during the pandemic requires preparation and our hosts made sure we were ready. I can’t imagine anyone more attentive.
We hope to return again soon!
