House was great, within walking distance to downtown Hilo. Traffic noise due to location next to main road, but otherwise wonderful and would book again.

Older, clean, and well-maintained home. Great location - only minutes away from beach and downtown Hilo. We visited during the rainy season so house did get humid and damp. House would benefit from a dehumidifier.. Fortunately, all rooms had a fan and that did help with the humidity. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well-equipped, and there was plenty of room for our party of 6. Host welcomed us with a box of Big Island cookies, which was a nice touch! Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Thank you for hosting our family!

The entire home is amazing! The kitchen and the downstairs bath where two of my favorite things. You are supper close to town, but pay attention in the morning. The road is North bound only until school starts.

Great centralized location. Close to everything. On a very busy road, so if you are sensitive to traffic noise, not the choice for you. The location and affordability made this a non factor for us. Huge house with all the amenities you’ll ever need. I’ve stayed here twice and (hopefully) will again. Mahalo!
