My wife and I had visited Hawaii several times but had never visited Molokai. This condo toward the east end of the Island had fantastic views across the channel of Maui and Lanai. We saw and heard whales breaching in the channel! A perfect place for a couples get-away and great location for exploring the entire island. The hosts were extremely helpful with directions and planning our visit. Molokai is known as the "Friendly" Island and with no traffic or streetlights, it has a very laid back "vibe" to it. We hope to go back again one day!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. The view from the lanai was absolutely stunning. The condo was clean, comfortable & so quiet! Loved the GAS range, (most are electric) the oven plays music when it’s ready & has a blue interior. We stayed inside for a couple of days due to the storm. Heavy rain, wind, thunder & lightning, at least it wasn’t cold. We relaxed & enjoyed every minute.

We had an excellent time celebrating our wedding anniversary on Molokai. The condo has a great view of then ocean which made for amazing views of the whales breaching from the water! Don and Katherine were great hosts, very good communication. Very quiet and relaxed setting with everything we needed for our weeks stay. The pool area was very clean and quiet, we enjoyed relaxing here in the afternoons. Condo is close to some nice beaches on the East side of the island, and the historic Hālawa Valley. A short 20 min drive into town, and approximately 40 min drive to the West Island beaches. We wish we could have stayed longer, would love to stay here again! Mahalo Don and Katherine!

We had an awesome stay. Great location. Top floor and oceanfront provided unbelievable views. We spent our mornings and evenings sitting on the Lanai. Recently remodeled and clean. Fully stocked kitchen. Owners thought of everything with beach towels, beach chairs, cooler pack, and snorkeling gear. We would definitely stay here again.

Katherine and Don’s place was more than we could have expected…the photographs and descriptions are terrific, but do not do it justice. Calm, beautiful, and immaculate.
First, the location is absolutely lovely. It’s 12 miles/30 minutes from the main town. Very quiet and just gorgeous. We really loved the east end! (We headed over to the west end for a day and the beaches do go on for miles. For us however, it didn’t have the charm, including the accommodations.)
Second, they thought of everything to make our stay delightful. The condo is immaculate and no detail forgotten. (In fact, we took photographs of several things they had in the kitchen so we could purchase them when we got home!) Just loved being on the top floor and right on the water… Building A is awesome! These folks also thought of what you might need for your adventures… binoculars, beach bags, chairs, and towels, as well as snorkels.
They were also accommodating when our flights kept changing. (The one "airline" which flies to Molokai is something else…they changed our flights so many times that we got the impression that they just fly when they want to ha ha…prepare to be flexible :-)
Besides relaxing at the condo, we thoroughly enjoyed the Halawa Valley guided hike, Mass at Our Lady of Seven Sorrows, sunset dinner at Hotel Molokai, mile 20 beach...and respectfully exploring this very special place.
We did happen to hit unusually windy and wet weather but still enjoyed ourselves. Would love to come back to sunshine and a light breeze and will absolutely try and stay here again…Thank you Don and Katherine!

Loved our 1 week stay here at Wavecrest A311. The condo is spotless, up to date, comfy bed, super complete cute kitchen, and the lanai is amazing. We had meals on the lanai, evening drinks, and I read in the comfy lanai lounge chair. We also enjoyed the resort amenities and played pickleball, swam in the pool, used the outdoor grills, and did laundry. We appreciated the lawn chairs, speedy wifi, and beach towels the owners provided. Honestly the most complete vrbo kitchen I have ever seen. Thank you for a most relaxing week!

True gem. Loved the time we spent there, and looking out the living room and balcony onto the water and Maui across the ocean. Property is clean and well maintained. Ample close parking. Easy access instructions. Quiet neighbors. Great breakfast place 5 minutes away (Mana'e Goods & Grindz); town is 20 minutes away, but an easy drive (mind the speed limit..."Slow Down You're In Molokai"...and note in the evenings, more animals run across the road - cats, deer, etc.). Comfy bed and rest of furniture; good shower water pressure and temperature. Internet and TV worked. They had beach chairs and towels for beach time. Nice owners who communicated well. Overall loved this place, and would definitely recommend and return to this unit!

This lovely condo was a great spot to explore Molokai. We started our days with coffee on the lanai with a beautiful view of the coastline and ended our days with dinner at the barbecue by the pool. The owners had taken care to provide everything we needed, including things for the beach. Our only regret was not being able to take the guided tour up the Halawa Valley but we hope to return someday.

Everything about this trip was excellent. The condo is right on the ocean and it was in very good condition with everything one could need. Lots of thought went into making this place feel just right.
The owners were very responsive and helpful. All the people we met were very kind, staff at Wavecrest and, well, everyone.
If you come to Molokai I hope you are coming for down time. If you want to party go to Waikiki or someplace. There are thing to do but going out and eating fancy meals and all that isn’t going to happen here which is what we liked about Molokai.

This property was perhaps one of the best VRBO rentals we've ever stayed in. It was immaculate, the kitchen was incredibly well stocked, and the view from the lanai was breathtaking. Our fisrt time on Molokai and yes, we'll be back! This unit of Wavecrest resort is beautifully decorated, fully equipped, cleaner than any hotel room we've rented before and welcomes every guest with a stunning oceanfront view! I'll miss my sunrise coffee on the lanai, whales watching and close farms selling their fresh fruits and vegetables.

We had a great time staying at Aloha Kai. Both the sunrises and sunsets were stunning. We could have sat on the lanai and looked at that view forever. But we also enjoyed a fantastic snorkel trip and dive trip with Tim at Molokai Fish and dive. The coral is the best we’ve seen in Hawaii. Also hung out with an eagle ray, a couple of sea turtles, and 2 octopuses. Very cool! The Guava ribs from the Cookhouse were excellent, as well as the fish at Ono Fish food truck and the burgers at Molokai Burger. Also picked up some great produce at Kamu Farms. The condo is beautifully decorated and has absolutely everything you need. It was a real treat to stay here! Mahalo!

While this property was very clean and beautifully decorated, our thoughts are that this property is on the windiest spot on the island! We could hardly spend any time on the lanai with the beautiful view without getting blown away and we were there for a week in December. Hopefully, that was just a run of windy weather. The bedroom is in the front and with the constantly hard winds blowing through the palms I hardly slept as the windows do need to be open. The grounds and pool area are nice. We had a glitch checking in but the owners were helpful and apologetic.

The condo was located in an ideal spot, close to beaches on the east side and slightly further to beaches on the arid west side of the island, which is small enough that my son and I found favorite haunts and enjoyed them repeatedly. The condo is clean, oceanside, with a wonderful breeze that blows through it at all times. Set off from the main road, it is safe and secluded, and secured by resort personnel. Molokai demands understanding and effort and respect to get to know, and the rewards are immense. Returning here to the view over the ocean at the end of a day of exploration is perfect...

My girlfriend and I needed some time away from the hustle and bustle of Oahu living. As soon as we walked into this rental we knew we would have an amazing time. The condo is not only very tastefully upgraded (with fully equipped kitchen) but it also has an amazing lanai with constant breeze, and amazing views of the Ocean, Maui and Lanai Islands.
Coming to Molokai has far exceeded our expectations of what this Island can do for our souls. We have never been more relaxed and appreciative of a place we traveled to. Thank you for contributing to these unforgettable memories.

We loved our stay on Moloka’i this condo is great, everything looks so clean and new and the views are beautiful!! We wanted away from the tourist crowds you have on the other islands so this was perfect for us. If you want a nicer sit down meal I would recommend the ocean front restaurant at Hotel Moloka’i the food and scenery were excellent!

My wife and I stayed 3 nights at this place and had a great time. The owner had a great attention to detail. There were maps, games, and binoculars. The kitchen was great to have and the utensils and appliances looked new and well stocked. We loved sitting on the lanai for meals and watching the whales. It was a quiet area with a nice pool area. On a clear night I was able walk near the water and see more stars than I have ever seen before. We would recommend this place to others and would stay here again if we get back to Molokai!

We enjoyed our stay here so much. We arrived during a pretty descent storm to the power being out. Katherine graciously texted ahead to let us know and give instructions for a flashlight, etc. The home itself is absolutely delightful. They clearly took great consideration in choosing EVERYTHING for this updated condo. The colors are so inviting and peaceful. The artwork is beautiful and soothing. The kitchen is the most well equipped of any VRBO I have ever been in. The view off the lanai is stunning. Whales. Maui. Lanai. We love the east end of Molokai so Wavecrest worked out great. The poorer weather did not stop us from traveling up Halawa Valley. That drive is in my top five drives ever. Molokai is not for everyone. But those of it that it is for are in for a real treat. The people are lovely. The pace is slow. The views are STUNNING. Highly recommend the grub just up the road at marker 16 and Manae Goods and Grindz. Best hamburger on Molokai or Hawaii for that matter. Molokai Burger is pretty awesome too. Great thrift shop in town on the hill by the hospital. Don't forget fresh baked bread at the bakery.. Highly recommend this island and this condo.
