Explore the historic town of Pahoa (5 min.) and enjoy great local restaurants or stop in the town of Kea’au (10 min.), try the Maku’u Farmer’s Market in Pahoa on Sundays, (explore the active volcano, Kilauea, (30 min.) in Volcano National Park), or venture into Hilo Town (25-30 min. drive).
