When I go to Hawaii my musts for a rental are ocean front, a short walk to (hopefully) a white sand beach, waves to put me to sleep at night, and a beautiful sunset view. This condo had all of this and more. We enjoyed the well appointed kitchen, the big TV so my husband could watch his Kansas City Chiefs football game, and all the beach accessories you could want. The beach itself was never crowded and very quiet.
The description of the condo on VRBO was spot on. The staff at the Princess were welcoming, with a very easy check in. Brenda communicated well throughout our stay.
We know that this beach front condo with all of its amenities is an exceptional value!! We would certainly return.

Everything about this stay was great! The check in process was easy. The security and cleaning crew were beyond friendly. The neighborhood was poor but we didn’t have any problem with criminal activity and the security was very good at the condos. The view was awesome, just like advertised. The beach was nice, not crowded at all. We would stay again if we ever get a chance to return to Oahu.

This was the most beautiful property we have ever stayed at. The condo was even better than expected. The space was very clean, the views were just amazing and the place was well stocked with all you need. Want to visit the beach, chairs, cooler, towels and beach toys were there. Want to snorkel, they have your supplies! This corner condo offers a wrap around Lanai with 180 degree views. We took advantage of the tradewinds and opened all the sliding doors in the evening to enjoy the lovely crashing waves and cool breeze. I didnt even mention the complex with easy acces to the beach and acces to a refrigerated pool to cool off on a hot day after the beach. The residents were also very nice. Thank you Brenda, you were very responsive and provided all we needed for a wonderful stay. We plan to stay here again when we come back to Hawaii. This place was heaven on earth.

Our overall impression of the property was amazing! Seriously view was breathtaking, sunsets were beautiful and out of this world! The beach was calm, and there was hardly anybody ever on the beach. Even in the heat of the day there was never more than 30 people on Makaha Beach, a 300 ft to 400 ft beach with light yellow gold sand and aqua blue and turquoise waters. And with the beach as your backyard, especially a beach like that, everything was perfect!!
The shower was a little bit small, the pocket doors to the bathrooms were a little bit awkward. I'm a big guy so maybe that's just me. It's not Ritz-Carlton as it is in a fairly regular working class neighborhood. Since I'm working class that didn't bother me. It's also fair to say that Waimea as it's share of homeless, but I did not see any on the property or adjacent to the property. I did see some encampments driving along the highway for approaching the turn into the complex most of them are along the other beaches close to the area but not the beach that the resort is on. Let's just say this I've stayed in many hotels on beaches around the world but very few had such a quiet and pristine Beach as a one that this property is on. Makaha Beach was again amazing!

Our entire stay from arrival, entry, impression, provisions, to hospitality was flawless. There was clear communication and everything was clean and cozy! The condo is very well decorated and the view from the kitchen and living room is an absolute dream. This place makes the idea of staying in at your rental as appealing as going out! We looked forward to coming "home" every evening to sunset and listen to the waves. We would highly recommend this rental to anyone! And we are so appreciative to the host for such hospitable amenities and for such a wonderful stay!

This place is Amazing!
It is absolutely immaculate, and you will want for nothing during your stay! Nothing! You will audibly gasp as the elevator door opens & you see where you are staying!
The panoramic view, the beach and the unbelievable attention to detail is second to none. We know...we do VERBO's all the time, and this one is far above almost all others. Breanda could do a Master Class in how to run a VERBO. She was communicative, helpful and available if needed.
If the TradeWinds are kind, we will most certainly be back to this jewel.

our condo at the hawaiian princess was really nice. and i should have done my research before i booked because the surrounding area once you leave the princess gates is very impoverished with very limited restaurant options. homeless camps were are everywhere. it was very unexpected to see this for miles as we made the drive from the airport thru waianae and makaha. when i shared my thoughts about this with brenda once we arrived, she was very thoughtful and genuine with her responses. i would love to give this an outstanding review because the condo was great but the area is so impoverished it took away from having a positive experience.

Brenda's home is amazing. As expected, my wife and I fell in love with the view instantly as well as the comforts, cleanliness and homey feeling of her condo. The photos make it look quite pleasant, but it was even better in person. After we got back home, as we got in bed for the night my wife turned to me and said, "it's too quiet" she was longing for those ocean sounds we got used to during our 10 night stay. I then turned on an audio recording I had made of the ocean sounds during our stay, it wasn't quite the same but it brought back all the memories. We also had the best time on the beach by the property, especially using the boogie boards we found in the closet :) so fun! Thanks again Brenda for the lovely accomodations for our special anniversary trip!

We do not like crowds and shopping malls, so we were thrilled to find this gem on the leeward side of the island away from the chaos of Honolulu. The wraparound lanai gives you amazing views of not just the coastline but the mountains behind. We saw amazing rainbows coming down off of Makaha valley. The unit is well-stocked with things like spices and condiments which really helps with grocery shopping! Who wants to buy a bottle of mustard and use it once or twice? The beach isn't crowded at all and feels very private. The surf can be a little rough at times when you are trying to get in or out of the water but once you are in, the swimming is amazing! Plus there are sea turtles and we enjoyed sitting on the lanai in the mornings with our coffee when the sun rays are hitting the water perfectly and illuminating them as they swim by and surface for air. The bed was super comfy and the bathrooms are well stocked with shampoo, conditioner, etc. We found all sorts of beach stuff in the closet but we really only needed the beach towels. We were left wanting nothing. Truly, a special condo rental and private paradise.

My husband and I just returned from a week stay and were relaxed the moment we walked in the door. Brenda was amazing and very helpful with questions we had about the condo and recommendations on the area. The kitchen is well equipped and we lacked for nothing. The bed is super comfortable. Plenty of everything to enjoy the beach - towels, chairs, snorkeling gear, cooler and umbrella. We found the surf a little too much for our age, but enjoyed the pool a couple times a day. Met a lot of great people! The staff at the building were very friendly and helpful. Saving the best for last, let's talk THE VIEW! The view is stunning all day long. Sunrise throws great light across the ocean as it comes up from behind the condo. Sunsets were amazing! The stars at night, glorious. We spent some quality time just watching the day go by. It was a lovely way to just BE. We are already looking forward to another visit.

We stayed here on our honeymoon and the condo was fantastic! Brenda was great to work with and she checked in on us to make sure everything was going smoothly. The condo was immaculate and the kitchen had everything we needed and more! The view from the lanai is more than anyone could ever hope for! My husband was super excited that there is a Planet Fitness 5 minutes down the road :-) The beach was never crowded and there were plenty of beach toys and chairs provided… Fantastic!

After 5 days in the hustle and bustle of Waikiki we moved our vacation to this stunning condo in Waianae. Waianae was a much needed slower pace and less crowds. The condo has a private gate, the corner lanai is large and inviting, the ocean is literally the entire view and the view is unbelievable. If you like to cook plan to stop at the store on the way up, get the groceries for your whole stay and use the beautiful and fully stocked kitchen. The pictures on the listing are exactly what you will find here. Very clean and well cared for condo! The beach angle at the ocean edge was a little too much for our 6 year old, but he had just as much fun in the pool. Take the time to sit on the lanai and watch for sea turtles, we saw multiple each day (early mornings we a little easier to see them). We will absolutely be staying here next time we visit!

Overall amazing and great experience staying here. Brenda was very communicative and followed up with me multiple times. The view was just gorgeous and breathtaking. We absolutely loved this place! 12th floor wrap around lanai gave the best views of the ocean and western Oahu. Property was well decorated, exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Brenda communicated with us to make sure everything was perfect. It is a great place away from home. The view of the balcony is amazing every morning and sunset. The descriptions of the place are very accurate. You have almost everything you need for a beach condo away from home. The snorkeling equipment are quite big for taller people. There are homeless near by but they are friendly. Everything the condo has is great, except one little thing that I wish the bathroom is little more sparkle. Brenda is very responsive to questions and text. You won't regret on your next stay.

Beautiful beach location. Every possible amenity was provided. High end furnishings and appliances. Many Condiments and anything you can imagine needing in the kitchen. Very clean. More than ample towels. Beach supplies including chairs, umbrella, beach bag, coolers, all in excellent condition. Great location for exploring Oahu outside of Honolulu. About an hour from the airport. Hosts are wonderful communicators and provided excellent information for the condo and area. Brenda was a great host, her condominium was spotless and had way more than just the essentials needed for a vacation stay. Her place truly felt warm and welcoming, and I can't imagine a better pre and post wedding vacation home to stay at. Our host was super responsive to any questions we had and that in itself made our trip go so much smoother! What a view! Comfortable and well-appointed, this unit is a great space to spend time with family. I'd advise you bring groceries and plan to cook in (or use the bbq provided on the lawn downstairs) - especially to enjoy every sunset. Also, it's a bit of a drive to the nicer restaurants on the West Side. The beach is uncrowded and the water clear. The unit feels very secure with its own entry gate near the elevator allowing you to enjoy the wrap-around corner lanai. The pull-out couch and extra half bath made it just the right size for our adult children to join us. The building security team were helpful and competent. Brenda was a communicative and helpful host, and has provided useful items to use during your visit such as small cooler and beach chairs. Mahalo!

Opening up the gate to Brenda’s Home Away From Home will leave you breathless. I was not surprised, she is a great host, any questions, response time is quick & follow ups. The check in process was seamless. My husband and I spent 6 relaxing days at Brenda's condo as our home base. There were no needs during your stay other than BYOB & tummy. The condo is well equipped. During our stay we explored all points north on 93 and to the south. There are a variety of fun activities. We chose a snorkel trip with Dolphin Excursions and had a great experience. Highly recommend.
That being said, there is nothing more delightful than waking up, watching the turtles swim by (sadly, not whale season) as you enjoy your morning beverage and breakfast on the Lani. Mosey down for your up close and personal encounter with the Mother Nature. Spend the day, enjoy all the Hawaiian Princesses & condo has to offer. As the sunset ends on the day you can either sit at the oceans edge or from the Lani. Your choice you won't be disappointed. After an unforgettable day let the ocean air and soothing sounds of the waves gently drift you off to sleep. Repeat tomorrow...

Brenda's condo is very clean, well maintained and provides all the amenities you need for an awesome vacation. Of particular note is the view from the lanai ... it is truly spectacular. The beach is beautiful, generally quiet and the snorkeling is wonderful. We saw a lot of fish and, of course, sea turtles! The pink pillbox hike, fantastic snorkeling at nearby Makana and Electric beaches, plus lots of food options (Beach House by 604 and Coquito's are our favorites) are why we love the west side of Oahu. That said, it is a 20 minute drive to reach H1 to explore other areas of the island, but when you come back to the wonderful views and sunsets it makes the drive worth it. Please note that there can be a few homeless staying on Turtle Rock but they keep to themselves and have never caused us any problems.

I booked this property for my son and daughter-in-law for their honeymoon. According to them it was even better than the pictures! The condo itself was beautiful and the beach was very private as well as the property itself. There were plenty of amenities and they said they couldn’t have had a better stay. The only negative thing I heard was the fact that there are lots of homeless people in the area and the bed was a little too hard for their liking. The bed is a personal preference and a nonissue and they were not bothered by the homeless although it was sad to see. And the owner was fabulous! She checked in after their arrival to make sure that everything was good and that meant a lot. She did not have to do that and that just shows how much she cares. I would definitely recommend this property! You won’t be disappointed!

This is an absolutely beautiful condo, with a perfect view of the ocean. We would listen to the ocean day and night and had views galore! There is not much more we could have expected from the location.
You will likely want a car if you stay here, the location is a bit remote. The drive there goes through some areas of homelessness but everyone seems to get along just fine. Generally, it would take us 45 - 1hour to get to various island sights but we didn't mind because we were on island time enjoying the ride.
It is safe with 24 hour security, enclosed parking. We didn't use much of the amenities because we couldn't take eye off the ocean. We wish we could be there 24/7.

Incredible apartment, extremely well stocked kitchen, awesome owner communication and best of all… views of the Pacific Ocean you’ll never forget. Nothing like waking up in the morning and watching the sea turtles swim around in the water below. So nice to be right on the beach. The condo building is a little dated and there are some homeless groups to the south of the property but wasn’t an issue. Seems like pretty typical for the whole west side of the island. Overall it’s pretty impossible to be disappointed with this property. Also the snorkeling is world class.

The condo was the perfect size for my partner and I and the view was amazing! The kitchen had a good selection of cooking utensils and it was great being able to use the grills outside. The place was stocked with water toys, including masks, snorkels, fins, umbrella, and coolers, so you could sit on the amazing, quiet beach all day long. If you want a slow, relaxing, island experience, this place delivers! We will be back!

The VIEW! The view of the ocean every morning, every day, and every night is one of the reasons why this was the best place we stayed on Oahu! The wrap around balcony on the 14th floor provided the most jaw dropping views of the ocean. This is the perfect place to stay to decompress and reset yourself. Quiet little beach below. A stretch of empty and quiet beaches nearby. Some great hiking trails in the area. The place had all the necessities needed and went beyond. The towels were so luxurious and thick--something I notice. Fellow guests were so friendly and happy. We also felt very safe and secure.

This special condo at the Hawaiian Princess is just really a gorgeous condo with plenty of space inside and outside! It’s honestly the first condo we ever stayed at anywhere that was well stocked with all you need, especially if you enjoy cooking like I do! King bed was very comfy and listening to the waves is so sweet puts you right too sleep! Comfy living area furniture and nice TV, we just loved it all there. The views from the balcony which is huge are so beautiful saw turtles everyday. Communication with Brenda was never a problem she answered all my questions in a timely manner. She’s a real sweetheart and great owner to deal with and finally like most of the reviews we will definitely be back!!! This was our first trip to Hawaii and we chose O'ahu as our first island. We stayed O'ahu for 10 nights at 3 different locations including this one. The view and amenities and beach and mountains were just amazing. We stayed only 2 nights at this location. We wish we booked it longer and others shorter :-). There were no restaurants nearby, but there was a grocery store just a few miles down the road, so that was no issue. I love the separate bedroom with separate bathroom. The best thing I can say about this location is that if we come back to this island, we will, without hesitation, stay here again but this time longer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Brenda's place. The pictures and description are exactly as stated and the wrap around patio is perfect for taking in the oceanside views. The condo is stocked with everything you'll need for a day at the beach, lots and lots of towels, full kitchen for complete meal prep, very clean, and newly appointed decor....made it easy to relax and enjoy ourselves. And no pests!!!! Also, with the exception of street noise, it's very quiet in regards to the neighbors above/below. This amazing corner unit has all you need for your beach/relaxation needs. The views are stunning and combined with the oceanfront setting, you are just steps away for your swim/paddle boarding/body boarding/snorkeling adventures or just strolling and laying out on the beach!

We booked this based on the pictures of the views from the unit, and it is 'as advertised'. The property is well-maintained and has a beautiful beach at your toes. There's also a hike right near you and plenty of snorkeling and exploring. The unit comes fully stocked with beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, and more. We shopped and brought food with us since restaurants are limited in the area. Definitely a great spot if you just want to unwind and plant yourself for a few days.

My family of 4 visited two islands and stayed in a total of 5 rentals on our trip and this was our favorite. Brenda has everything you could ever need and is the best host we have ever experienced so far. The snorkeling here was amazing. At one point we had 4 turtles around us. The view is even better in person!! My daughters 18 and 20 said the sofa bed was very comfortable. We loved the west side and think it was the prettiest place we visited on both Oahu and the big island. Our only regret is that we only stayed for 2 nights.

We normally stay in Waikiki due to proximity to all the restaurants and shops. This was our first time staying on deep in the leeward side of the island and it was great for us since we wanted to be low key, cook for ourselves for a bit, and just relax at the beach. The unit was really nice with the best view and Brenda was extremely responsive. Though there arent many good restaurants around, the local grocery store had the freshest meats which made for the a bbq that was better than a high end waikiki restaurants. If you plan on doing things on the Northshore, plan to drive a bit, but if you just want to spend time on the beach, the one the building is on is clean with clear water and usually pretty empty.

Wow! If you are thinking of booking this place - don’t think about it anymore! You need to book it. We had the most amazing family vacation we have ever had while we stayed here. Brenda is amazingly helpful and always answered my questions quickly.
The moment you walk in you will fall in love with the view! It is so relaxing and beautiful out on the lanai. The beach is beautiful, the people are friendly and the condo felt like home away from home the moment we got there. I wish I could go back right now!
Yes - you have to drive a bit to get places but the drive didn’t bother us at all because the drive is beautiful no matter where you go. We never had an issue with traffic - you just have to plan ahead and try not to hit rush hour.
The condo is supplied with EVERYTHING you need. Beach chairs, snorkel gear, flippers, umbrellas, beach towels, hair dryers, small coolers to carry drinks to the beach and all the kitchen supplies you could possibly think of.
As far as the neighborhood goes - we always felt completely safe.
Watching the turtles swim right there off the beach was amazing and the last day we were there we even seen a seal! That was so awesome!
I hope we have the chance to go back again. My 19 year old son said this was the best vacation he has ever had! I have to agree with him.

This property is a far away from the hustle and bustle, which is part of the reason why it was so amazing. We spent hours each day on the lanai watching sunrise, sunsets, and the sea turtles (tons of them). You cannot beat the view. Simply the best. If you are looking for a place near high end restaurants, this isn’t it, but everything you need is right there and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking. So far, it’s been our favorite rental of our trip. We’ve been in Waikiki for a couple days and we keep saying we wish we were back in this rental.

The views from the kitchen, bedroom, living room, dining area, and balcony are wonderful. Dare I say, “Breathtaking”.
Overlooking one of the nicest beaches on the Island (my opinion) sunsets leave you speechless. The snorkeling is wonderful (swan with a sea turtle in the first day!), and only about an hour or so drive to Honolulu or the North Shore.
Condo was very nice, fully stocked with beach chairs and snorkeling equipment. The condo is well decorated with everything you need. Owner messaging was prompt and checking in was a breeze! Location is very local but the facility is secure. The condo itself has its own gate to enter. Sits high up and at the end for great views and wrap around balcony. In our week or so we saw turtles daily, dolphins in the morning, and we’re even blessed with a postcard rainbow. Kitchen appliances are very high end, two bathrooms with plenty of room to get ready. Bedroom AC kept the room cool and cozy!
I’d highly recommend this space! If God continues to bless us, my wife and I will be back!
