We stayed 30 days at this little gem, almost the entire month of July. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The king bed and sofa bed were very comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances, pots and pans, etc., everything except a dish washer. The washer & dryer were a nice convenience. Air conditioners worked great. The greatest feature for me was the gazebo and deck which were right outside our door. It was huge, with about a 12 ft. square which was covered and about another 300 square feet of deck with lots of comfortable furniture. It was surrounded by a back yard of thick, lush tropical trees and plants which made it very private. There was a grill which we used several times. The owners also had tons of beach equipment which was at our disposal. Beautiful Lanikai Beach was very close, but very busy and the only parking was on the street. But there were a couple of areas which were within 6 to 10 minutes walking distance from the apartment. Jenny and Lenny were always very helpful with any questions we had. A great place to serve as home base while exploring the wonderful island. Downtown Kailua was only 3 miles away.

Len and Jennifer were fantastic hosts. The one bedroom basement suite stayed cool all day and the property location is only a few minutes walk to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world at Lanikai Beach. Make sure to walk to the incredible Kailua Beach just a 20 minute walk away that allows you to walk on hard packed sand for 45 minutes each way. The view from Lanikai and Kailua Beaches will take your breath away especially in the morning for the incredible sun rise.

Jenny and her husband Len were the best hosts we have ever met! They were friendly, helpful, and their extraordinary hospitality made us feel like home. Their place was super conveniently located about 3-5 minutes drive to the world’s top beach Lanikai beach. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you Jenny and Len!

My fiancé, 10 year old son, and I stayed at the property for one month. Overall, it was a great experience. We weren’t too far from a Whole Foods, I found a gym and local yoga studios in town, and the drive to Lanikai beach is no more than a few minutes. Walking could be about 20 minutes but there’s also a very tiny beach just up the street.
The space was mostly comfortable for the three of us. Since we were staying a month, my fiancé worked remote.
The one issue we really had was with Wi-Fi and cell service. We have T-Mobile and didn’t have any cell service up there, which would’ve been fine, but the Wi-Fi was pretty weak. The Wi-Fi would work if you’re just watching Netflix or something, but my fiancé was working remote and his video calls would often drop and/or people in the other end of the meeting would have a lot of trouble hearing him. Some days it would put him behind in work and if he was working my son and I definitely couldn’t use the Wi-Fi because it would interfere. So this property is more ideal if you’re not working remote or your work doesn’t require zoom meetings, but other than that, when the Wi-Fi wasn’t fading out, we could watch Netflix and my son could play some games in Roblox.
The only other thing I would note, is some appliances could be updated, especially the washer and dryer. We had to wash very small loads for our clothes to be washed effectively. And nothing heavy, no towels or anything which they do offer to wash those for you.
Overall, it was a great experience and comfortable for sleeping. The AC was very helpful on those hot nights but even the fans in the house kept us pretty cool.

Such a wonderful place to stay. The unit had everything we needed, full kitchen, comfortable bed, living room to relax. The true highlight of the unit was the large private patio. We had breakfast and dinner out there every day, and also could lounge and read. Kailua is the perfect location for seeing many parts of Oahu. We particularly loved the Lanikai and Kailua beaches, watching the sunrise on the beach most mornings, a simple walk from our place. The property hosts were responsive and welcoming. We’d love to stay here again!

My family of 4 had a wonderful stay! We will be back again someday. The owners, Len and Jenny were always there when we needed them, but that wasn’t often. Just asked them where the perfect spots for the sunrise and places to go and eat. I wanted my family to experience Hawaii out of the city life and this is exactly what we wanted. The beaches are just down the road and they are some of the most beautiful beaches in the world (and I’ve been to many islands). It was just enough room as we were not planning on staying at the place much during the day. It did downpour the first 2 days we got there and Len had a tarp for us to cover our car as it was a soft top. If you want to experience like a local, this is the place. The Lani and gardens are so peaceful. I enjoyed the beauty. Thanks again Len and Jenny! Aloha!

We had the most amazing vacation! This property is very clean and has everything you could possibly need for your stay. It's an easy walk to the beach and close to Kailua town with great food and shops. We would love to stay here in the future!

We stayed at this property for 10 days and had a fantastic time. The unit is private, quiet, clean and had everything you could want/need. There's a stackable washer/dryer to keep up with salty bathing suits and towels, full refrigerator, stove, kitchen and excellent bed/bedding!
Our stay was very comfortable and the home owners are welcoming, friendly and helpful. Having wonderful hosts can make or break a vacation and they made it exceptional.

We highly recommend this rental. The outdoor area was lush and beautiful. We really enjoyed using the lanai. The inside was comfortable and had everything we needed. The ceiling fans and AC units were great when needed. The beaches on Lanikai and Kailua are truly spectacular and very easy to access from this rental. We enjoyed sunrises, daytime fun, and evenings on the beach. Jennifer and Lenny were friendly and accessible if we had questions or needed something.

We could not have been more thrilled with our stay. This little getaway was a perfect destination for our family. The proximity to the beach was perfect and all the amenities and beach equipment available to use during our stay was perfect. My husband and I had an amazing time here. The property is beautiful and is a short 1/4 mile walk to a beautiful little pocket of beach which was perfect for launching kayaks, etc. It’s also about a 15 minute walk to Lanikai Beach, but we preferred the smaller pocket of beach because it was more private. The house had plenty of amenities and we were able to cook our own meals, wash laundry, and use beach chairs and towels (all provided). Lenny and Jen were gracious hosts and Lenny was so kind to offer to pick up a kayak rental for us so we didn’t have to lug it all the way down to the beach. It was a wonderful trip!
