This condo is perfect for a quiet, convenient and relaxing stay in Kīhei. It’s so well stocked with the basics as well as the extras (everything for the beach). And the quiet patio gave us sunset views each night. We had an issue with a door lock and the owners responded immediately with a fix.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cheryl's condo!The property was exactly what we needed. It was, cosy, clean. and well-appointed. To say that they'd thought of evey detail would be an understatement! There was not a single thing that we needed that we didn't find during our stay. Right down to the fishing poles. What a wonderful surprise that we took full advantage of! The house information was very clear and concise and put together in a binder. Quick answers to most FAQ. She and or her son we're available should any issues arise. The Wi-Fi speed enabled me and my daughter to work remotely. No issues at all!Cheryl's condo is located at the end of the second floor which made for a quiet stay. In fact the entire property was peaceful and all of the residents were very nice. The unit has its own assigned parking stall. It has coin (digital payment access available) operated washers and dryers that actual dry your clothes without requiring a second mortgage. It's located in a very safe and walkable neighborhood and only steps away from the beach. Very close to grocery shopping, eateries, and some of the best beaches Maui has to offer.The condo has 2 aircon units and ample fans that adequately cool the house down. We often preferred to lock the screen doors and have the tradewinds blowing thru the unit in the early mornings and evenings. The lanai has unmatched evening sunsets. A good book and a glass of wine & it feels like your very own private paradise. 10/10!

Absolutely no complaints about this residence. It is stunningly well equipped and convenient. We appreciated the snorkeling and beach equipment in the unit which we used almost everyday. It is very close to our favorite beach- Makena! I highly recommend staying here!

The location was great. It was very easy to get anywhere from there. It was wonderful to come home and be able to open the patio doors and sit down with such a view. The neighbours were friendly as well. The condo had everything we needed and more. We would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I were really satisfied with this property due to its location and the quietness of the neighborhood. We slept roughly 10 hours every night and it has been a long time since we’ve ever been able to do that. The arrangement of furniture and the amount of kitchen utensils that were present made our stay that much more enjoyable because we didn’t have to worry about buying a wine opener, silverware or any pots and pans…everything was just readily available!

Beach you can walk to close by is wonderful and others a very short drive. Quieter part of Kihei. Property very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Can pay for washer and dryer with Apple Pay which was super convenient. Beach chairs and other beach stuff provided. Fridge also has filtered water so didn’t have to buy bottled water.

Great location, plenty of parking, effortless check-in. Issues were no hot shower water for 5 of our 7 days (had to prove it to the owner and advise how to fix it, apparently 80 degrees was ok LOL), couch is very broke down (there’s a board that was added to give stability), porch was dirty, no AC in second bedroom, good luck if the apartment above is occupied as you will hear every chair scrape and loud laugh, had to run the dishwasher after every meal due to not enough dishes, auto garbage can didn’t work so I had to touch it all the time. I can see why it’s a successful unit, but was not for us.

This property is very well equipped with almost everything you need for a beach vacation. It was very clean and worked quite nicely for the two of us. The owner was very quick to respond to messages and very helpful. There are several excellent snorkeling beaches nearby. The only downside (for us) was that the lanai was noisy - both from the road close by and the AC unit. It took away from the serenity and beauty of the magnificent sunsets! Otherwise it was a great place to stay.

This stay is a short walk from Keawapaku Beach, so much so that I walked there multiple times daily due to its convenience. You are a 4-5 minute drive from anything you need really, and 25 minutes from the airport.
This listing is most likely in the quietest stretch of Kihei Rd too, we were spoiled with it to be honest. I was really glad we found it.
Plenty of amenities are included which made the stay easy And memorable for our first time in Hawaii.

Been on a few vrbos and I have to say this is the most well stocked we have ever been on. Had all tolietries, cleaning supplies, even bug spray and suntan lotion and beach equipment. Very clean and well kept and nice spot in the complex. Pictures matched listing perfectly
it is "2nd floor" but no one underneath and ground level back patio. Owner communicated right away with concerns. Only nitpick is washer and dryer located outside residence but did not bother us as so many unexpected other positives.

We truly enjoyed our stay in this condo!
It is situated in 5 minutes walk to the local beach and park, close to restaurants, shopping and larger beaches.
There are beach towels, beach chairs, snorkeling gear and small serfing boards provided for the guests.
The condo has convenient floor plan and has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Great views from the patio too!

Located just a stone's throw from Wailea and Keawakapu Beach, this is the perfect place to relax and unwind! Watching breath-taking sunsets from the lanai after snorkeling with turtles - what could be better?
The house is well stocked with amenities and Cheryl is a wonderful and responsive host! The beds are comfy and the couch is very sprawlable. The whole place felt very homey.
Those with accessibility concerns - there is a short flight of stairs from the parking lot directly to the unit.
10/10 would come back!

Really enjoyed our stay at this unit. Check in process was seamless and the host, Cheryl was very responsive when we had concerns or questions.
The BEST things about this condo are:
1. LOCATION!! Literally across the street from Keawakapu Beach. We went for snorkeling with the kids, a picnic lunch, a walk down towards Ulua Beach while house gawking, sunsets and swimming. We even spotted turtles! The condo is a 12-minute drive from Foodland, a 15-minute drive to Wailea and a 15-minute stroll to coffee and restaurants!
2. The kitchen. We stay in a lot of VRBO’s and not all have sharp knives and equipment for cooking. The knives are sharp sharp and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook in (eating out is pricey in Maui).
Stay here. You won’t regret it.

comfortable and convenient 'home away from home' with parking. refrigerator beverage center dispensed ice intermittently, but no water. Fan(round) in queenbed room would not work. Corner of mirror cover on medicine cabinet in full bath got bandaided to prevent further injuries. Aside from normal mishaps, we were very pleased with the accommodations and excellent hostess.

Enjoyed our 10 day stay!! The condo was very clean and well stocked. There are now 4 chairs and a table on the patio which we used every meal and could seat 5 around. Cheryl was quick to respond to any inquiries or messages. The walk to the beach was about 5 minutes and it is a great beach for swimming and in the afternoon boogie boarding. It has a gentle slope so good for kids. The shared laundry has two washers and dryers and we rarely had to wait long to be able to use them. Beds were comfortable. To sofa bed was fine for my teenage son. Appreciated that there were 4 beach chairs and two umbrellas and two boards. Tons of snorkel gear. Air conditioners worked well though the smaller bedroom doesn’t have a unit so needed a few fans. Great location - 10 minute drive from pharmacy, groceries, or shave ice or ABC store or wailea shops. Or several other beaches. It does require climbing the stairs to the second floor (unit is on a hill) to access the condo. We found it quiet and the neighbors were friendly. Pots and pans were in good shape, knives could be sharper but lots of dishes. Appliances all in good shape and worked. Unfortunately no recycling available but the local recycling centre is only a short drive away. We would definitely stay again. Did I mention how great the beach in that area is! Just as other reviews have said, this is a smaller complex tucked in a quiet spot at the south end of Kihei. We were very happy with the condo. It was well supplied with beach gear, towels and kitchen implements. Everything was clean and in working order. Our lanai was very private with a nice view of the sunset. We made friends with the local gecko and lizard. Lots of birds and flowers on the property. Parking was great. Laundry was located in the complex and easy to access (bring quarters). One minor thing, the BBQ area was quite small with only one charcoal BBQ and occupied by others every night so we were unable to use it. Overall we were very happy with this condo and would definitely stay here again.

It’s true, the ocean view has been compromised by tall trees but the convenient location allows for you to walk across the street in mere minutes to see the sunset. We spend lots of time in Wailea and this condo is in a great location bordering Wailea/South Kihei. I walked to the shops at Wailea many times - it’s much shorter than what google maps says, especially if you are in good walking shape FYI. We also found an 808 general market right across the street (ground floor of Māui Kai condos I think?). You have your own parking spot assigned so you never need to worry about unavailable or far parking. The condo is equipped with everything you need for the beach and then some.
I didn’t realize when I booked that the unit didn’t have a washer/dryer inside - make sure you pack your quarters! A bit disappointing at first as I was not prepared for that - but really my own fault for not reading the description thoroughly. It also wouldn’t change my decision to book. This was a great place to rest our head between adventures.

Communicating with the host was very easy. The condo was clean. We just felt that the description was a bit misleading. You're not right across the street from the beach although it's still quite walkable. You can't really see the ocean from the condo without climbing the hill out the back. We still had an amazing time in Maui, the condo just didn't live up to the description.

Cheryl's place looks better than the photos. We had a great stay at her place. Plenty of beach stuff and such a short convenient walk to the beach. Cheryl was very responsive and kind. The coffee pot was broken and she got us a new one within hours! She also let us check-in early. Thank you Cheryl! The only negative was that there was no coffee, bath soap, shampoo, or conditioner. Not a big deal but be aware you'll need to make a run to the store.

Great location, fully equipped property (kitchen ready for cooking - pots/pans/baking trays/blenders/ slowcooker; everything you would need for a trip to the beach - chairs/cooler/umbrella/snorkel equipment/ towels etc.) The owner was quick to respond to my text, which was much appreciated. Space was plenty big enough for a family of 4 and the on-suite extra toilet was great too. We very much hope to return! Thanks Cheryl for chance to stay at your place, we are going to miss morning coffee looking out at the lovely lawn and watching the birds and lizards.

We have stayed in many VRBOs including 3 in South Kihei. The Imlays were the most responsive and accommodating of any host anywhere. They made it possible for us to have groceries delivered before we arrived (amazing luxury to get off the plane and not have to grocery shop), they replaced a boogie board that we broke (!) and they allowed us to have a late check out since it worked for their cleaning staff (I would never assume this would be possible but the fact that they let us do this since the schedule worked is amazing). I can’t say enough about these folks as hosts.
The place was clean (and I’m picky). It isn’t a super fancy resort (as is clearly stated in the description) but the location is awesome (just across the street and down the road a small distance from the north end of Keawakapu Beach). We walked many times (when hauling all of our beach gear we generally parked at the south end of the beach). Speaking of beach gear, they are the best equipped we have seen- nice snorkel gear, 4 beach chairs, boogie board, nice umbrella, balls, hats, bags, etc etc.
The kitchen is well equipped (I do suggest upgrading to stainless pots and pans from the Teflon) including blender and Nutribullet, Pyrex, Tupperware, etc etc.
No laundry in the unit but right down the stairs and we always found them available.
The ground floor lanai is lovely and has a nice grass area in front. The unit is at the end and so it feels like the common table and bbq area is wonderfully connected (it is lightly used so it almost felt like it was more space to ourselves).
We didn’t need the AC with the generous number of ceiling fans.
This is a small, quiet building. Loud groups or parties would be very out of place here. We love visiting South Kihei, Keawakapu is our favorite go-to beach and we will definitely look to rent from the Imlays in the future.

This is place is in a great location and property. A rare smaller complex, very quiet and just a quick walk across the street to a great beach. A nice change from the bigger resorts and hotels. In South Kihei, very close to Wailea. Great beach walking area, close to shops, restaurant and the highway for travelling around the island. Was a good fit for 2 family couples. Everything provided. We barbequed a few nights and had the grassy area to ourselves. Lovely for watching the evening sunsets too. John and Cheryl were very receptive to a small issue we had on day 1 but they quickly got their maintenance gal in and all fixed up. Would return again for sure and recommend. Thanks guys.

Cheryl & John were very friendly and communication was great. They have a beautiful condo that’s very clean and kept updated. We appreciated the snorkel gear, we made great use of it at the beach across the road. We saw more turtles and fish at this beach than on the boat trip we took!! Great location, best sunsets on this beach. Close to the action yet in a beautiful quiet spot. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend. My wife and I along with our son and his wife were very comfortable here.

We had such a great stay here. It was just a short walk to the beach and it truly has everything you need: sand toys, beach chairs, boogie boards, towels, guide books, etc. The lanai and lawn were perfect for kids to play while we had views of the ocean and sunset. Perfect location and accommodations for Keawakapu Beach at affordable rates! Quiet, lush landscaping, beautifully appointed condo. Enjoyed the sunsets from the lanai every evening and the air conditioning on a few muggy days. The walk to the beach was a pleasure and took less than 5 minutes! Highly recommend this condo!

I will say right off the bat that if you want air conditioning and to be right in the middle of the "action" in Kihei then this is NOT the condo for you!
BUT - if you DO want a nicely laid out, fairly private, quiet condo close to the best beach (in my opinion) on Maui then this IS the place for you!
We stayed here for 2 weeks and really have to say we loved it! This is our third stay in Kihei/Wailea area and this is the best condo for many reasons including:
- good size, comfortable, fully stocked with all sorts of added comforts and details
- private (enough) lanai with beautiful side yard for relaxing
- quiet, small condo building with tons of flowers and fruit trees (used plenty of limes) and birds!
- close to Keawakapu beach (walking 5 minutes at most) stunning sandy beach with a reef for snorkelling!
and last but not least... fantastic owners!! I can't emphasize how great Cheryl was. We had a couple of things that we had to be in touch with the owners about and found that they were very accommodating and fair with everything. Thank you for making our trip so wonderful! I do wish there was air conditioning, but I would stay here again! Mahalo! A hui hou kākou!

We loved this condo.The kitchen was very pretty and well stocked for all your cooking needs.The living room was very comfortable and homey.There's DVD's to watch & books. I read 2 great books while I was there and plan to finish the 3rd next time.The bedrooms were very nicely decorated and the beds comfortable. I had my own big bed to sleep in & my husband chose the smaller room.We've been married a very long time so your own beds a luxury! silly I know but I also had my OWN bathroom and I was so excited about that.There was one shower and it was so pretty I just loved it. The sliding doors open to the Lanai which is so awesome, you can walk out to the patio or step onto the grass . I ate my fresh fruit breakfast on the lanai every morning looking at the ocean. If you walk out and up to the right there's a bbq area and down the stairs to the laundry. There are so many extras the owners have for guests such as tommy bahama beach chairs,ice cooler,ice packs,snorkels ,and much more.You just walk across the highway to the beautiful beach, or down the sidewalk to some great food at moose mcguillicudys & freds Mexican food. We loved it the most because it's quiet,you hardly ever see neighbors or hear anyone else The condo is pretty close to Kihei .There's a grocery not too far away. It's a great value for such a wonderful place.

We had a wonderful trip to this condo. We stayed with our 2 young children. We love to cook when we are on vacation and the kitchen was comfortable and well-equipped. We loved that it was a ground-floor unit so that our kids could play out on the lawn. The walk to the beach was short, and we made it almost daily. The condo was fitted with lots of beach toys for the kids. The owners were very friendly and we enjoyed chatting with them before and during our stay over email! While the complex does not have a pool, it made no difference for us as we were so close to the beach. A very peaceful oasis on a beautiful island.

What lovely, private, secluded retreat! This condo is on the south end of Kihei, so you are not in the hustle and bustle at all. It was quiet and peaceful. The backyard is lovely and has a distant view of the ocean. The rooms were well decorated and clean. Beds are super comfy, including the sofa bed. Kitchen had all we needed! We cooked breakfast and dinner at "home" and packed a picnic to the beach each day. Saved a ton of money and ate very healthy! Made our own Mahi Mahi tacos! Condo comes with sand toys, beach chairs and umbrellas, snorkel gear, boogie boards, and a small cooler. You will need a larger cooler for taking food to the beach, as we did. The walk to the beach was too much for our small kiddos and all of our "gear", so driving was easier. But it is certainly walkable. FAB condo and location. You will love this place too! Owners were wonderful to work with also.

This is the best priced vacation rental on Maui...You just can't beat it. 3 minute walk to the ocean; an ocean view from the unit, plus the condo was in tip-top condition with a new kitchen! Love it!
