More or less what we expected - beautiful views, easy access to beach and park, close to Kihei town for food and activity, easy parking. One thing was the cleanliness though - there was used tissue paper on the drawers when we arrived. Also there were no body wash just half bottled shampoo provided and shower drain was easily clogged. It can get pretty warm in summer and the AC is super loud.

This location is exactly what I was searching for. The filtered search gave me the perfect results which was extremely helpful. The owners were so great to work with and very responsive. It’s an easy walk up stairs or elevator. It’s a nice unit on the outside of the building which offered outside, additional windows and lighting. I found nothing broken. You can walk right out from the property to the beach. We enjoyed the patio immensely and appreciated the higher counter stools and table do we could see over the railing. We don’t spend a ton of time at properties so we don’t use the kitchens a ton. This kitchen was well equipped however. Nice closet space and ample hangers. The use of beach towels was welcomed. Thank you so much for a lovely stay and we enjoyed Christy so much.

Everything was as advertised, the owner was very helpful and responded immediately with any questions we had.The property is located just off the beach with great beach access and pickle ball and tennis courts. There is a nice grassy area to play and relax in before the ocean. every evening turtles come up on the beach.There are wake boards and snorkel gear available at for guest to use. The AC keeps the place nice and cool. The kitchen is well equipped with kettles, plates, etc. There is a whole drawl full of various spices so you don't have to bring any of that along. This is a great place to stay as a family, we would deffinatly stay here again if we returned to Maui.

We loved the location of this unit. Central for all our island adventures, great lanai view, and our kids were often the only ones in the pool in the evening! The beds were comfy, kitchen was fairly well stocked but missing some key items such as a small pot with a corresponding lid (we made die with a glass lid from another dish), scissors, wax paper or tim foil would be a bonus. Also we bought food thinking there were bbq’s due to the photo but found out when we went to make burgers that they had been removed. The patio furniture very uncomfortable and cumbersome (Heavy wood bar height stools). We spent so much time on the beautiful deck in the mornings and evenings we ended up bringing the kitchen chairs out as the others were awful and difficult for my mom and kids to get onto and off of. However overall our stay was fabulous and we would return to the area.

This is such a cute little condo with amazing views! We spent almost every morning sitting on the deck looking out at the water and the sunset views are incredible. Location was perfect. Right in the middle, so didn't take long to get to whale watching, snorkeling, or the road to Hana. Super close to a ton of beaches and yummy food places. Parking was a little tight, but did seem super safe. The condo did have window airs in the bedrooms and main area which was perfect for cooling down after spending the day at the beach. The property manager was very helpful and accommodating. We arrived late at night, but the instructions and check in was simple and easy to follow. The extra snorkel gear, fins, and boogie boards were a huge hit with my son. Highly recommend! We will definitely be returning someday.

Well-named because Bruce's place does offer Spectacular Sunset Views! Easy to find, parking, easy to access. Kitchen had everything we needed for meals. Spacious with comfy king bed, lots of towels and things needed for beach. Extra AC units in both bedrooms helped tremendously!

This home is clean, well equipped and the views of the beach is spectacular from the lanai. It was a perfect stay for our family of four. Kitchen was well equipped, beach items were available for use. Air conditioners in each bedroom and the living room was a plus and appreciated. This location was close to many shops and restaurants. This condo was clean and well equipped. We loved the sunset views, the large lanai and the beach to walk the shoreline. We really appreciated the boogie boards and beach chairs being onsite to use.
Everything you need is only a short walk or drive away. (Shave ice, groceries, fruit stand)
After days filled with exploration and adventures on the island, our kids (10 & 8) loved to play in the pool and loved the park for soccer and frisbee. The bbq, and laundry facilities onsite worked great.
The owner was very responsive and accomodating. We appreciated staying here and look forward to our next visit.

Nicely laid out with beautiful views and good location.
Pros: well-accommodated, nicely remodeled, beautiful park side setting, close to beach, comfortable, beach accessories supplied.
Cons: Wi-Fi was down the whole time (not really a big deal), cleaners could do a more thorough job and not park in our assigned parking spot.
I would definitely stay here again.

We spent 11 nights at the property and would definitely stay there again. It was in a great location, only a very quick drive to amazing beaches, groceries, as well as great coffee and shave ice spots. The unit was very clean and filled with everything you need (boogie boards, cooler, beach chairs, towels, snorkel set). We had the pool to ourselves most of the time and it was nice and quiet to sit on the lanai in the evenings. The beach was within walking distance and the perfect spot to watch the sunset every evening. We highly recommend this spot for a family or anyone wanting a relaxed and easy going atmosphere.

This property was absolutely perfect for our stay. The location was perfect, the sunsets were unbelievably spectacular from the balcony, beach access was convenient, the pool was not overcrowded and the facility was clean and cool with the air conditioning units provided. We kept the patio door open often for a cool ocean breeze too. The property manager on-site (Steven) and on-call (Bruce & Shelley) were attentive and knowledgeable. It was a perfect location, making it a perfect trip!

This condo is fairly close (within 30 mins) to most of the things you'll want to do/see on the island.. so close to many beaches (aside from the one just behind the property!!). The condo has a beautiful view from the lanai! The bedrooms are spacious. Everything was great, kitchen is well stocked. We don't want to leave!!! This place delivered in an amazing view! It was so nice to come home everyday to a beautiful sunset and ocean view from the back patio. What a sight to wake up to each morning as well. The complex was super quiet and those we met were friendly. The kids loved the pool and the huge park with gorgeous grass right in our backyard! The location in Kehei was close to everything. We will be back!

Great apartment in Kihei for a family of 4. Both bedrooms were clean and had AC which was a big plus. The common areas were also great with a relatively modern kitchen. The view off the balcony was priceless with amazing sunsets seen over the park behind and the ocean beyond. Facility had a nice pool and most amenities are close walking or driving distance. Overall a great stay.

Place was great. Great location. Views from patio are beautiful. Plenty of room for my family of 4. Very clean, well stocked with kitchen ware. Had coolers, beach towels, beach chairs and boogie boards. Laundry was a little difficult as there were only 2 machines and weren’t open very early or very late. Which we needed since we were out exploring all day. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

Every morning my husband and I woke up early to take in the magnificent sight of the island waking up as first light touches the ocean. The view is amazing and waking up and breathing the island aloha in every morning makes each day so much more amazing. From the lanai you can watch the sunset and in the right time of year you could even watch the whales. Condo is fully stocked with all the things you’ll need to cook your meals and the kitchen is positioned so you won’t have to miss the view while you do it. An incredible find and right in Kihei !!

Leinaala Condo complex is in a perfect ocean front location in Kihei. Enjoyed people/dog/sunset watching from the comforts of our lanai.
At sunset 100+ people go to the ocean to watch the sunset every night. There are tennis courts and pickle ball courts just off to the right of the condo. Condo was very quiet. Virtually no noise from other tenants or road noise.
The unit could use a paint job, a new sofa and a new nonstick frying pan, sharper knives, and some teaspoons (only 4). Having said that we made due with what we had. The kitchen and bathroom have been nicely updated. Loved the water/ice function on the fridge. The king size bed was also very comfortable!
Somewhat disappointed in the cleanliness of the condo. Definitely just surface cleaning. Areas that were neglected: lots of dust bunnies underneath the beds and couch, crumbs found in kitchen cupboards and drawers, and dirt/hair behind toilet. Not much left for cleaning supplies so had to buy our own to cleanup behind the cleaning people. We did have to call the maintenance man because shower drain was plugged. Came immediately the next morning to clean it out. He also fixed the track on the screen patio door so that it would open and close better.
There is only one BBQ for all 24 units which we were worried about. Most people must eat out because it was hardly used except for us. Not in the best location (by the parking lot) and there are no chairs or tables to sit on while you are cooking. We ended up using the beach chairs that we left in our car. We probably looked ridiculous sitting so low to the ground but it worked for us. Lol
Other than that, our stay there was amazing. We were there for 5 weeks and really enjoyed the condo and area and the people we met.

We really loved staying in this condo. It was a spectacular view and had all the amenities that we needed. The boogie boards were a major plus! It's not an ideal Beach for swimming but it's a spectacular walking and viewing Beach. The kids enjoyed the pool and we could easily supervise them from the lanai. There are air conditioning units in the rooms, but if you're used to cool air it can be a bit muggy.

The condo was close to everything we needed and had amazing views of the ocean. It has a pool which is a great wind-down after a long day. Only 35 min to Lahaina too. Great size for a family of 4, kitchen and bath had been updated. Laundry onsite if you wanted to pack light. Would stay here again.

Bruce is a very flexible and generous property owner. He communicated very well, and handled some last second changes graciously. The condo was well appointed for our family of four, including two teenagers. We enjoyed the beautiful ocean views and sunsets from the lanai. The location in Kihei was ideal for getting to any part of the island for various activities and meals. If we ever visit Maui again, we would try to book this property. Mahalo, Bruce!

We added this condo stay as a short extension to our yearly resort stay in Ka’anapali. It was a great addition and change of view from our stay there. Beautiful sunsets and large grassy playing area. Would definitely stay here again! Mahalo!

The location and view from the lanai were both amazing. Also, Bruce was quite responsive with some of the issues that cropped up. The property itself could use some updates. When we arrived they weren’t enough towels, 1 roll of tp, 1 roll of paper towels, barely any hand soap, and no extra garbage bags. We immediately had to go to the store just to stock up on essentials. Also, many things were broken on the property and seemed like they had been hastily, and badly, patched together (towel rack, beach chairs, paddles, screen door, garbage disposal). The towels had rust stains as well as many of the utensils. All of these could be affordably replaced, just seems to be lacking some TLC.

We had a wonderful time on our vacation to Kihei, Maui and this condo was the perfect place! The bedrooms are spacious and could easily accommodate our family of 5! We were so happy to find that there was a pack and play at the condo. It easily fit in the bedroom with our other kiddos which hasn’t been the case at other condos we’ve stayed at. There was everything we could possibly need for the beach including coolers, umbrellas, chairs, sand toys, etc. Our three kiddos especially loved playing catch on the lawn in the morning and swimming in the shallow end of the pool. We loved the small complex vibe and how quite it was. All of the other residents were very friendly and our two year old made friends with a few! We did not want to leave and are already planning when we can make it back! Thanks for a wonderful trip!

We really enjoyed our stay here! I loved having a kitchen to cook some of our meals (helped save money for fun things), having beach towels to use was so nice, and the unit was clean and well located. We loved sitting outside to watch the sunset!
There are even some beach toys to use if you have smaller children, ours are older so we didn't use them, but so nice that they are there. Having 2 bedrooms was wonderful so our teenage boys could each have a bed and their own space.
Thank you for great communication, providing us with a great place to stay including towels and some other necessities. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This property had everything we wanted and needed. The kitchen and bathrooms have been nicely updated and the apartment was spacious for three people. The kitchen is well appointed for cooking. The location is wonderful with the park in front of the condo and pickleball courts off to either side. The view from the balcony is as good as it gets for spotting whales and we spotted a lot of them this trip. Parking is easy and the complex is small and sits off the main road so it is quiet. There are lots of beach chairs, towels, binoculars and if you don't want to walk to the ocean you can use the pool which was very clean and well kept. I highly recommend walking to the Humpback Whale Sanctuary which is not far away. We saw turtles sunning themselves on the rocks of the ancient fishpond and spouting whales from the porch. The weather was not too hot while we were in Maui so we did not have reason to use the AC window unit but I suspect the apartment could get quite hot. It would also be nice to have a clothes tree or some extra hooks in the twin bedroom or bathroom to hang wet towels and clothing on. We are already talking about a return trip. We would absolutely stay here again. Thanks to Bruce for making it possible to rent such a great place.
