This unit was one of the best we have ever stayed in for this price range. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms for excellent privacy. The beds were super comfortable, the sheets fresh and luxurious, not cheap. The furniture was nice as well. It has one of the best furnished and stocked kitchen with nice utensils, dishes, and appliances. Granite countertops and nice cabinets. A very nice walk in shower. My wife and I loved to eat breakfast on the patio. We enjoyed a movie on the nice TV and sound system during the heat of the day. The complex was very quiet throughout our stay. It was a five minute walk to the beach with one of the nicest beaches in the area. On top of everything, Susan was a top notch host. We would love to stay again in the future. Mahalo!

This is one of the few condos in this building with 1 and 1/2 bathrooms.The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well outfitted with the exception of lacking a coffee maker and grinder. We were also renting the unit next for so headed there for our morning coffee. The location can't be beat!

Beautiful, comfortable, safe, great location, walking distance to nearby beach, Mountain View at the entrance of the property and ocean view/ mountain from the lanai. The condo is updated with high end finishes, fully equipped kitchen, beautiful island decor. The owner provided beach chairs, sun umbrella, portable coolers, and boogie boards.. Highly recommend and will definitely stay there again.

Susan has thought of every little thing, we felt we weren’t missing anything! The place was so comfortable and stayed surprisingly cold without the AC most of the time! Everything we could need was provided for, down to after burn/sun cream, bandaids, bug repellent, beach chairs, umbrella, towels, cooler, everything! The view from the patio was amazing, you can see the sunset! We would definitely stay here again!

The apartment is clean and comfortable with a well appointed kitchen, very comfortable beds and immaculate bathrooms. Having the lanai (outdoor patio) at ground level gives the space a nice feeling of connwction to the outdoors. This looked to be owner occupied residence with thoughtful artwork and all the comforts of home. Centrally located for all Maui sights and restaurants it was the perfect location for an active vacation of sights and experiences. There is no pool and it is not a resort location w activities on-site, but rather a place from which to explore all that the island offers.

We have stayed in many rental places and this was one of the best experiences ever. It is obvious that the owner takes great pride in the condo and it is the best stocked (kitchen, bath, beach things) of our experience. Communication was easy and accommodating. Location was near several excellent beaches and plenty of restaurants and shops. Hope we get the chance to come back again.

We really enjoyed this property. It was the most well appointed vacation home we have stayed in. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need and had super nice appliances. The space was super clean. Just a quick walk down to the beach. We appreciated the umbrella, chairs and cooler that came with as well. We'd love to stay at this condo again!

Enjoyed our week in this condo. Location is great, very quiet at night and you can enjoy the beautiful sounds of the birds in the morning. Susan is very responsive. Before and during our stay, she responded almost immediately. She's open to questions and very understanding. Place was clean when we showed up and all we had to do was unpack. A lot of amenities that made the stay stress free. She also leaves very good and detail instructions about the condo as well as things to do in the area. I would highly recommend this property.

Our vacation to Maui was a dream come true.
The rental location was A+. The property is located just a quick walk from the beach. Everything one may need it is either within walking distance or a short drive.
Susan, is an excellent HOST.!! Very quick to respond to e-mails or phone calls. We had an issue with the access code and she resolved the issue within minutes.
In addition, she provided us with a very detail page of things to do, places to go, restaurants and tour companies. Her recommendations were on point.
The only downside is having to come back to reality.

This property was perfect for our trip. Condo was quiet and well stocked with comforts of home in a great location. My only comment is on the "Green property" which I took to mean earth friendly sustainable products, but there was glade, dawn, Ivory and all usual products stocked- not a big deal but slightly misrepresented. This property is across the road and a short 5 min walk to a great beaches in South Kiehe. Would definitely consider this location again.

Ours was a short notice rental which went really smoothly. The accommodation was fabulous and just as described with everything we needed for our stay, and more. The location was right for us being far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the shops and restaurants to be quiet, but only a 2 minute drive away. The 808 over the road carries only VERY basics and the local restaurants didn’t survive Covid. Being able to watch the sunsets over the ocean from the lanai with a view exactly as in the Ad was a lovely bonus.
Overall we would find it difficult to find fault with this place.

The condo was as advertised. And the owner was very quick to respond to my emails. Lots of amenities in the kitchen and very upgraded and nice. The patio over looked a green space which had a bird feeder so lots of birds to watch in the mornings. The only downside is it is quite a walk to the beach as right across the road is the boat launch. But I would definitely stay here again.

This is a great unit in a cool older property but great location! The kitchen was very well equipped with lots of dishes. We had a problem with the dishwasher but the owner was quick to send someone to sort it out. Love the ground floor unit with access to grassy yard - very short walk to beach! Would stay again for sure. TV is tricky but we were not here to watch TV!

Our stay at Susan's Honu condo was a perfect intro to the beautiful island of Maui. The condo is very well equipped, including beach chairs, towels, snorkel equipment -- even coolers for beach days (I brought one but the guys used the backpack one). The two bedroom spaces were perfect for the 4 of us -- guys used the master with beds set up for twins. with two teen boys having the half bath for their use was a real plus!! We cooked in the well equipped kitchen and enjoyed breakfast on the Lanai. Kihei is an excellent location for so many beaches and good restaurants. Susan was very helpful with tips on things to do -- where to shop and how to make the best of our stay. We have already told many friends about our great week with high recommendations.

Fully enjoyed our week long stay. The condo had all of the amenities we wanted and then some. Great updated kitchen included everything we wanted. Neighbors were very friendly and the building is a nice size. Walk to the beach was super easy and short and there is plenty of free parking if you want to bring your beach gear in the car. We used the beach chairs and backpack cooler provided which were great.

We had a lovely location and would definable stay here again. The property is only a 5 minute drive to the island gourmet market!! The sushi, poke and Nigri there are to die for! Is is also incredibly affordable and amazing quality. We ate there often and saved a lot of money on food.
The property is a 45 min drive to Kaanapali which was our favorite beach. Great location for sure!
The host had beach chairs, coolers, snorkels and much more for guest to utilize.
The biggest downside of this condo, was that they only provide 4 beach towels and only 4 shower towels.
We were at the beach or waterfalls every single day and 4 towels was not enough. If you need clean towels we were told there is a $25 charge. There is no washer/dryer in the unit. We drove to foodland for quarters to use the paid-for washer, only to be told there’s a coin shortage. We drove to a laundromat and were kicked out since we were only needing coins.
I would recommend that the host invest in at least 4 more beach towels for her guests. Also, I would recommend that the furniture be moved and dusted. As well as the window screens. We had the fan on at all times due to AC not being included, and we could see the dust floating around. It triggered my allergies the first few days. Also, we had to buy toilet paper because there was only one roll in each bathroom. We staid 8 nights. Also, the pillows weren’t the most comfortable but definitely an awesome place to stay.

We loved everything about it. Especially the kitchen! It was lovely to cook meals in. It is equipped with beautiful dishes & everything one needs, even a Vitamix :-). The beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are great.
Although it is not on the waterfront; you can see the ocean & there is a lovely ocean breeze. A short walk from the condo Is one of the best beaches in Kihei.
The owner was great. She responded quickly to all our communication prior to & during our trip. We would defiantly stay here again.

This is a prime location, walking distance to the beach and access to many food and drinking locations by foot. The house also came with beach chairs which was also nice. The drawbacks were that nothing in the house really worked, the tv in the living room didn’t work, we couldn’t close the blinds in one of the rooms, we couldn’t lock the door when we left the house which meant leaving our belongings unsecured all day, and when we called the property team about it we never got a call back. I would recommend spending shorter amount of times at the location as a week is likely too long for a stay here.

My wife and I stayed here with our 9 month old daughter. This place couldn’t have been any better.
The location is ideal - a very short walk to the beach, which was great for our daughter, but also just outside of Kihei so you don’t get stuck in the tourist madness. The town was about a five minute walk away, so we could still easily access everything without having to get into the car.
The unit itself had everything we needed, and we were even spoiled with the quality of the kitchen.
We stayed here for just under three months. If you’re scrolling through places to book like we were, you can stop now. You’ve found a gem - book it before it’s gone!

My husband and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary with a trip to Maui. The condo was the perfect place for us to be. Everything we needed was within walking distance including the beach. It has beautiful backyard views. The condo is comfortable, cozy and quiet.

The condo is extremely nice with very comfortable bed and linens and everything you need in the kitchen and bathrooms, and it's in a fantastic location. It's just a 5 minute walk to Keawakapu Beach, which is a great spot for snorkeling, with sea turtles and lots of fish. We loved our time there and hope to return again soon!

We just returned from a lovely stay in Honu Place and already wish we were back there again! Neat as a pin and chock full of amenities; Susie's condo is the perfect launching point for all your Maui activities. We enjoyed everything about it; from the comfortable beds, the ocean views, the gorgeous flowers/landscaping out front, etc., etc. This was one of many trips to Maui and the 1.5 baths were just what we needed, for privacy throughout the night. There were 3 of us and it was perfect to have the 2 of us in the master bedroom and able to use the ensuite at night.
Throughout the process, Susie was very helpful and friendly. We were given instructions and helpful hints for activities in the area. This worked out perfectly, as we were able to rent paddleboards for the day across the street. There are a lot of helpful suggestions at the condo. We LOVED all the books at the condo, which provided our niece ample reading about Maui activities.
We can't wait for our next trip to Maui and hope we are able to have availability to stay at Susie's condo. The only complain we have is that 8 nights is not nearly long enough. We have to do 2 weeks next time.....we just have to!

Susie’s place was wonderful! It was well-stocked with everything we needed, and was very clean. The view from the lanai is lovely, with beautiful flowers and a glimpse of the ocean. It was a super short walk to the beautiful beach across the street (Keawakapu Beach), and the location was very close to Wailea and central Kihei for restaurants. Susie was a very considerate and communicative host. I highly recommend Susie’s condo to anyone looking for a place to stay in western Maui.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed out stay at this beautiful condo in Kihue. It is off the main street surrounded by greenery, yet a short walk to the beach and afternoon pupu's and happy hour. The condo is beautifully decorated, well maintained, and stocked with more than you'll ever need for a nice, long stay. It is also very accessible to the most beautiful southern beaches in Maui and roadside fish tacos.
The owners are easy to work with and we look forward to our next trip. Thank you, Susie, for sharing your lovely home with us. It is a treasure!

The condo is really nicely done and was sparkling clean. The quality of the unit was top-notch, very comfortable and well equipped - they even had a safe we could use - and it was quiet. We never heard any noise from neighboring units. The location was great, too, across the street from the beach, close to so many places for food, 3 miles from a good gym (Valley Isle) that cost $50 for a week-long pass, or one day we walked about 15 minutes along the beach to get to a daily morning outdoor yoga class. Rentals of kayaks or paddle boards is in walking distance. The owners were pleasant to deal with and they have put together an information sheet for places to go/eat things and to do that was very helpful. I had never spent any time in this area of Maui, but I loved it. I highly recommend this place and I hope it is available the next time I go to Maui!

Susie and Rick have really outdone themselves with this beautiful condo. It seems they spared no expense when remodeling and the result is a beautiful and tastefully decorated, comfortable living space with state of the art appliances and other accommodations. The property was clean and well-maintained and it really felt like we were "coming home" when we'd return from one of our many trips to nearby Keawakapu Beach (walking distance) or one of our other honeymoon adventures (like powered hang gliding in Hana!). We especially loved having the use of beach chairs, beach umbrella, boogie boards, and snorkeling equipment that were all provided. The snorkeling at nearby Maluaka Beach (short drive) was incredible! The convenient location of Honu Place really can't be overstated, it was a short walk to the beach or to one of several happy hours - at the Five Palms or Moose McGillycuddys, and just a short drive to many other beaches, grocery stores, and lots of other restaurants. We also loved sitting on the lanai watching the beautiful sunset in the evenings. Communication with the owners was very good and we would definitely recommend this condo to friends and family. We hope to be back for a "second honeymoon" some day!

This condo was amazing. Took a trip out to Maui to de-stress after taking the California Bar Exam and I could not have found a better spot. The area was nice and quiet and the beach across the street was probably the best beach in Maui. The condo itself was amazing, all the appliances were new and the 3D TV was incredible. I will definitely stay here next time I visit Maui.

My husband and I stayed at Keawakapu Aug 9th-16th. What an amazing condo! It was everything the listing said it was and more. We were kind of nervous as we stayed at a condo upcountry last Dec. and were very disappointed. This condo was spotless and in a perfect location. It was totally remodeled with top of the line everything. The owners were very helpful and wasted no time in getting back with us in answering our questions. And it was a 4 min. walk to the beach. Amazing beach too!! Beautiful for walking,sunning, sunset etc.If you want to rent a scooter, Maui Scooter Shack and Shave Ice down the street on S. Kihei Rd has nice scooters and the owners Chris and Sara are really nice. They have excellent smoothies too as well as Shave Ice!! Can't wait to return!!

What a slice of paradise! I was looking for special place to celebrate my retirement, and Honu Place was more than I could have hoped for. A beautiful condo, with comfortable beds (a big plus!), immaculate kitchen with all the comforts of home. Susan, the owner, was so organized and made the process of setting up our visit so easy. We really appreciated the care and love that has gone into this home away from home. The pictures online do not do justice! We rested, went boogie boarding at the beach right across the street and soaked up the aloha spirit! We will be back again!

We have rented condos in Hawaii many times and this is by far the nicest place we have stayed in. The home has been very recently remodeled. The kitchen has high end appliances and beautiful granite and tilework. The bathroom is beautiful - the shower even has two shower heads. Everything is very luxurious. The decor is beautiful and the home is very peaceful. The home is spotless.
The complex is VERY quiet. It is about a five minute walk to Keawakapu Beach. This beach is uncrowded and has miles of sand for nice long walks. Be sure and go to Happy Hour at 5 Palms which is a short walk away.
You will feel very happy if you have the privilage to stay here. I can hardly wait to come again!
