This condo was lovely. The property manager was quick to respond and helpful. The condo was quiet, we loved the little pool and lived that we could see the ocean from the lanai. The kitchen was great to have with all the supplies you could need. There were ample towels and closet and dresser space. The air conditioner was pretty loud and didn't reach the bedrooms well, but there were lots of fans provided.

Great location and accommodations provided by our host Joann. Some minor inconveniences with condo, but Joann was responsive and took care of things promptly. Lots of Maui dust and little critters around the place but that is to be expected when visiting an island. Would come back again.

There was trash left in the unit for seemingly a while and the trash was full of bugs. I contacted the host immediately and she gave me numbers of people I could call to have them come clean again if I wanted. I figured they didn’t do it properly the first time so probably wouldn’t the second so spent a good few hours of my first day (after a long flight) cleaning the floors and cabinets etc. Killed up to two dozen roaches a day. Had a river of ghost ants along one of the walls one day. Got bitten by a spider in the home and had to get urgent care. Killed multiple spiders in the home and even had a lizard along the walls. At that point we welcomed the lizard in the hopes that it would eat the bugs. We had to keep all food in the fridge bc if we left ANYTHING out there was a roach crawling toward it in minutes. We had to clean out cabinets and drawers bc there were bug droppings everywhere. I sent pictures and videos and felt the situation was not adequately resolved. I was told pest control would be called but they never came to the property and the host had the manager come and spray instead. It was said that the roaches should be gone in about 72 hours. I feel we were very patient and cooperative and after 72 hours the problem was never resolved. It was frustrating for sure. I kept being told that bugs are a problem on the island but I have been to Maui twice and have never had a problem like this. I will not be booking JoAnn’s place again.

We had a great time during our stay in Maui! The location was central to all of our adventures and our host, Joann, was so supportive and responsive. When my daughter had an unexpected medical emergency Joann was great in helping us try to figure things out. Thanks for a great stay!

This was our very first time in Maui AND our first family vacation in almost 10 years so this was a HUGE deal for us and Joann's property was everything for us! Not only was it the perfect location but it was a fabulous property. Joann was amazing and supportive (as we were dealing with a family emergency) and extremely responsive to any questions we had. The property was beautifully cared for. The unit had absolutely everything a family needs for their vacation, from the fully stocked kitchen to the washer and dryer AND the invaluable beach necessities.
The maintenance staff was out bright and early EVERY single morning taking care of the gorgeous property. If you are looking for a perfectly located, clean, modern and family friendly place to stay while in Maui this IS the place!! We won't hesitate to stay at Joann's property again, we loved it!!

Joann's place fit our needs perfectly. Our party included two adults and two kids (ages 7 and 11). It was super convenient to have a full kitchen for breakfast and packing lunches for our daytrips. The kids really enjoyed the boogie boards and sand toys that were available at the house. When we returned for the evening, kids always had the energy to use the community pool. We enjoyed sunsets each evening by simply walking across the street and hanging out on the beach that is just steps away. We found the location ideal since we had plans on all ends of the island and Kihei is very centrally located for most trips. Would recommend!

This condo was small but had everything we needed. The kitchen was very well equipped. They place was very clean except the floor was dusty. The pool and hot tub were clean and well-maintained. The owner was very responsive and showed true aloha to us as guests .

This is such a beautiful condo in an amazing location in Kihei! Literally right across from the beach and a short drive from many shops and restaurants. The only issue we had was that the A/C unit was located in the living room and it did not effectively cool the bedrooms, so it was extremely hot during the night. Luckily there were several fans! Otherwise, a truly perfect spot in Maui and would absolutely recommend it.

Overall we enjoyed the stay very much. The inside is updated and was clean when we arrived. There is a pool and hot tub you have access to as well, our kids enjoyed that a lot on days we weren’t able to go to the beach

It was a great week at the condo! The property was tidy and the arrival process was so easy. It was a short drive away from the grocery store and delicious restaurants. The pool is great for the kids. Communication with manager was very good, she and her husband were quick to answer.

We had a great stay. Location was good and convenient. Place was clean and spacious. Just across from the beach, great for morning walks! It was great that they had laundry detergent for the washing machine. Too bad there were no dish washing tablets for the dishwasher. Only complain would be the shower, wasn't able to adjust the show head and water pressure is not the best. Overall, a great place to stay.

Pros
The Condo is in more of a residential/condo area so it’s a little quieter than just down the road. The shopping and restaurants are still close enough, just a mile or two down the street. Towels, beach chairs, a cooler and an umbrella were available for use. Having a washer and dryer was very helpful. The kitchen had all the pots and pans I needed to prepare a few meals while we were there.
Cons
Unfortunately the A/C is only located in the living room, the room with two beds stayed fairly cool but the back bedroom with the queen was too uncomfortable for me to sleep in so I ended up sleeping on the couch. The windows in the unit are glass shutters not solid glass and did not all open.
General
The apartment was not as clean as it could have been (I don’t blame the owner and I let her know my concerns, she was very receptive so I don’t think this should be an issue in the future.) With the trade winds it may be possible to keep the unit cooler with having the doors and windows open overnight. Unfortunately someone in a unit near this one was a smoker which would come into the unit if we had the door open on the patio (two members of my family have allergies so keeping the doors and windows open was not an option.)

We loved the condo we stayed in. It was in a great neighborhood, directly across the street from the ocean. The decor inside was lovely. It was well supplied with the things we needed. It was especially great to have a washer and dryer! There is a plumeria tree right next to the lanai, and its fragrance greeted us every morning. Our host was amazing to work with, and we appreciated everything that she did to make our stay happen. Staying in this condo made a much-needed getaway a terrific, restful time.

This condo was perfect for my vacation needs! The location is great - centrally located and easy to travel to other areas of the island. This unit was clean, comfortable and very well taken care of; felt like my home away from home. Communication with the owner was fantastic. She responded immediately to any question that I had.

We’ve stayed in many Hawaii rentals and this one was lovely! Very open and clean feeling! Walk to the beach was right across the street! It was about a 30 minute walk to the nearest grocery store or coffee shop so definitely have a car or some type of transportation during your stay, we did enjoy morning walks in this area though.
Communication with the host was amazing I always got a response very fast!
You definitely can’t beat this rental with the quality and price!

Though I have been to Maui a couple times myself growing up, as an adult it was my first time, as well as the first time for my husband and kids. We had such a fantastic time, and our condo at Kihei Holiday was just as we expected! We will definitely be recommending it to our friends and hope to return soon!

We absolutely loved staying at Joann’s place. It was the perfect fit for the 4 of us and in an ideal location. I loved sitting on the balcony and watching the ocean every morning- I actually saw a whale breach from there. Also, Joann was a fantastic and very responsive host who was flexible and really helped us out. I would definitely stay here again!

It really does have everything you need for a fantastic Maui holiday. The kitchen is very well equipped and had every appliance, big and small, that we needed during our stay, and more! We also found everything we needed for going to the beach, including beach towels, chairs, mats, coolers, pool noodles and more. My husband, myself and our adult daughter stayed for 10 days at this property and had such a wonderful time. The condo has a convenient location and is a great base for exploring the entire island. Beautiful sunsets across the street at the sandy beach! We saw zero bugs in the unit and everything was very clean. The AC and ceiling fans were sufficient to keep us comfortable. At night we turned the AC off and slept in comfort with just the fans. We’re from Canada and are used to sleeping cool, and we all slept really well. We hated having to leave. Joann was very attentive throughout the process and we had no issues. It was really like a home away from home. Would highly recommend!!

This apartment was a good size, in a great location, and only 20 min from the airport! Central, across the street from the beach, and near a bunch of restaurants and groceries. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, and cooking utensils, and it has a washer and dryer.
The only hang up was that it doesn’t seem to have ac in the bedrooms, but there’s multiple fans. The weather was in the 70s, so it wasn’t an issue, but during the summer it may prove to get a little hot. Otherwise, there’s an ac unit in the main living space, and you can open the windows. I would definitely rent here again.

Upon arrival, communication from Joann was very clear for the check in process, very easy, and very detailed. Overall, the unit, location, and accommodations within the unit provided everything we needed. The location of the unit is right across the street from the Sugar Beach, close enough to stores, food trucks, and shops, and we had everything we needed to be comfortable. The only 2 problems we had were little bugs, but being on a tropical island, that's to be expected and the floor needed to be wiped down. When leaving, check out was specified to be before 11am, but at 8am, we were greeted by the cleaners at the door. We were already on the way out for breakfast, so we just grabbed all our belongings, so it felt rushed, which was a little inconvenient. Other than a few things, the unit was great, would for sure recommend!

We liked the layout and decorating. Window AC meant the bedrooms stayed warm while the living room and kitchen were cool. Master bed was a bit small but comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped and stove and microwave worked well. She left 3 large water bottles for us which was nice. The deck had all the beach supplies you could want - boogie boards, snorkeling equipment, toys, cooler etc. The unit itself had lots of ants and bugs throughout and overall dirty beyond the surfaces so we stored all our food in the fridge. Upon arriving we spent time fixing screens, repairing window (Duct taping over a broken pane) and a freezer door that wouldn’t close but they had supplies enabling that to happen. The pool and hot tub was great as were the bbq grills. Maid service arrived earlier than stated meaning we had to rush to leave but it worked out ok. Overall an enjoyable stay but probably wouldn’t stay again.

This condo is located on the property of Kihei Holiday. We have stayed in various condos at Kihei Holiday, but this one was by far the best!! It is in a great location. Can walk across the street and your on the beach. You can walk Sugar Beach for miles or just the beach chairs across the street and hang out and swim or snorkel. This is on the second floor and we had a view of the pool and the ocean. Being close to the pool was nice. My husband used the grills almost every night. The condo is very spacious and the kitchen was amazing. Loved all the high end appliances and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. There was a pantry too, for storing all our snacks and dry goods. The ice maker was not working when we arrived and the owner promptly got a repairman to come fix it for us. Ice maker works great now!! There is a washer and dryer in the unit and we enjoyed having that. The bathroom was very nicely remodeled and had a great shower and big drawers to hold our toiletries. Each bedroom had plenty of room in the closet for our luggage and lots of hangers to hang our clothes. The dressers were very nice and held all our other items. The master bedroom has a queen and it was a little on the soft side for us. We prefer a firmer bed, so the second bedroom has twin beds that were firmer and appeared to be new. We never had to turn on the A/C because the air flows through the condo just fine. On a few days we did have to use the floor fan. If you like to read, the condo has a great selection of books! You will have a reserved parking spot too! Overall the condo was very comfortable for us and close to everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again.
