This house was as advertised. Clean, smartly decorated and comfortable. Close to numeous beaches but just far enough away to feel like we could escape the tourist set. Our hosts were very easy to communicate with and made check-in and -out super easy. I messaged them a few times during our stay to ask for recommendations and they responded within an hour, usually within minutes. Would recommed this house unequivocally.

We really enjoyed our stay at this home in Maui, Hawaii. It is located in a quiet little neighborhood in a cul-de-sac at the top of a hill. The lanai has an obstructed view of the Pacific Ocean - it is beautiful. The house is well stocked with posted instructions on all key appliances. The home managers live close and are very responsive. They left us home made banana bread and candies for our arrival, and allowed us to check in early after our long flight. Close to beaches but not really walking distance if bringing beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers.
We really enjoyed our time on the island and in this home.

Kelly and Dan's home was just as described and had all the things we needed. We felt like we were at home. I particularly enjoyed the multi-plug outlets at the bedsides which was able to accommodate all my charging needs. The home was immaculately clean and located in a quiet neighborhood, yet very close to the beaches, food and other attractions in Wailea and Kihei.
Kelly and Dan were super responsive over text, and I also appreciated being able to meet with them shortly after check-in as they gave us some info about the home.
I will definitely be back, and have already shared their house with other friends who plan to come to Maui next summer.

This house is a wonderful vacation home. The location is great for getting all over the island. It is so well-equipped and decorated. The beds are very comfortable. They have towels and beach chairs for us. The kitchen is perfect and has everything you would need. We had 6 people and it was very comfortable. We would love to come back. We had a fantastic stay at Dan and Kelly’s home. They were so warm and welcoming from the banana bread waiting for us in the fridge, to the visit from Dan to give us tips on the area and the pomelo he left for us from the tree in the backyard. The house was amazing and had everything we needed. The location was excellent—in a quiet culture-de-sac just a few blocks from several beaches with great snorkeling and tons of restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

I can't say enough about how wonderful this home is! Dan and Kelly are excellent hosts - honest, attentive, and responsive. This was the best rental home we've visited by far - worldwide! The photos don't do the home justice, honestly. Not only is the house beautiful, we were provided with timely and useful amenities for the nearby beach. The kitchen had a wealth of high quality cookware and accessories. The back and side yards were perfect for morning meditation and yoga. The neighborhood is quiet and easily accessible. Plenty of beautiful beaches within walking distance. Short drive to grocery stores, markets, and restaurants. An ideal location and perfect for families. We plan to recommend this home to our networks and hope to get the opportunity to stay there again.

This home and yard were absolutely breathtaking!! The yard is like your own little oasis and has everything you need. Dan & Kelly were so amazing to deal with and always ensured we had everything we needed. The kids ( and adults) LOVED the fresh banana bread and the bananas that they brought for us, it was a real treat!! The home is immaculate, clean and modern and has everything you need. Just finished a 3 night stay. We opted to stay in Kihei due to the activities we wanted to do. The home is driving distance to several beaches and snorkel spots. Closer proximity to road to Hana and Mount Haleakala. Not far to get into these highways. The home was very clean and the owners were very responsive. I had 2 negatives which I felt really shouldn’t have occurred. Living in Florida we are used to air conditioning. We specifically got this home because it was listed as having air conditioning. However, you aren’t able to lower the air conditioner past 76. The owners have this controlled and the home got quite warm at night even with the fans running. I think 72 or lower is a bit more appropriate for the evenings. My second complaint would be having to purchase our own ice. When paying this price point I would expect a working ice maker. They could also have an extra set of towels per person. All in all a wonderful stay but a few things I would tweak for a better experience.

This is a lovely house, beautifully decorated and the kitchen is very well equipped. The large covered patio proved handy during a few days of rain. Dan and Kelly met us shortly after arriving at the home to get us up to speed. They were excellent hosts, helpful and fun to converse with. It's a winner.

We cannot say enough positive things about our stay in this beautiful home. The home was absolutely stunning, exactly what we were hoping to enjoy on our trip to Maui. Hosts were so kind and accommodating, we LOVED our banana bread, chocolates and home grown bananas. Every detail was accounted for—lists of good eats and activities to do, beach equipment and household instructions labeled or explained. Any questions we had were met with prompt replies. Our family made amazing memories in that home and we are already planning to return! 10/10 recommend this place for your vacation retreat.

The six adults in our family who stayed here for a family wedding loved it. The hosts were amazing- they even gave us fresh bananas from their trees and banana bread made with their bananas. We could walk to the beach & restaurants and it was a short drive to a grocery store. The kitchen was well stocked and check-in and out were easy. Definitely worth the price. Great outdoor space as well.

This is a beautiful house! It is very clean, updated, and well maintained (inside and out.) This house has such a comfortable feel, it felt more like a home than a rental. We spent most of our time outside sitting on the lanai enjoying the beautiful view. Dan and Kelly were such welcoming hosts. They stopped by to introduce themselves and explained a few things about the house. They even left us homemade banana bread! I highly recommend this property!

We had a wonderful time at Kelly & Dan's house! They were very gracious hosts, and gave us some of their homegrown mangoes and apple bananas (yum), along with their kind gift of homemade banana bread and chocolate macadamia nuts.
The house is exactly as it's depicted in the pictures, but has a lot of nice details/finishes that don't necessarily show in the pics. We were very comfortable there, and loved the ocean and mountain views from the front patio, which was a great place to relax with some coffee in the morning.
Beds were very comfortable, and the female members of the family especially loved the bathrooms (sinks and master shower in particular). Many thanks to Dan & Kelly for having us, and we'll be sure to stay there again on our next Maui trip!

We loved everything about this home. It is beautiful, inside and out. A very zen feel everywhere. The house was so well stocked. And the hosts - Kelly and Dan - are second to none! Love them! Great location - you can walk to some beaches and restaurants. Others are a mere minutes away. I will miss my sunrise morning tea ritual overlooking the ocean view and the evenings watching the sun set. Gorgeous view of ocean and mountains from the lanai. Heavenly.

First off, the owners of this property are so friendly and helpful! They are the nicest owners I have dealt with in all my years with VRBO. The home itself is absolutely gorgeous and only a 5 minute drive to the local beaches. It was perfect for my family of five (three teenagers). Hidden bonus: the beach chairs provided were the BEST beach chairs I've ever used. Next time we are in Maui, we will definitely stay here again!

This has by far been the most comfortable, luxurious vacation rental experience ever. We loved the outdoor space, the kitchen, and especially the views. This was our groups first time in Hawaii and to coming back to the vrbo after a long day was nothing but relaxing. We loved all the misc things provided such as kitchenware, beach chairs, soaps, and laundry detergent. Being walking distance from some of the nicest beaches Maui has to offer. The home was beautiful, very clean, and well stocked. The photos and description were very accurate. The home is very modern and updated. The host was very thoughtful in having detergents coffee filters, starter coffee, and lots of restaurant recommendations. They were very accessible if we had questions and even brought us some fresh fruit on our first day there. We could not have asked for a more comfortable home for our vacation. The home has a very modern solar panel system which doesn't really affect your stay one way or the other, but was kind of nice knowing that the house was " green ". The kitchen was quite well stocked which isn't always the case with some other rentals. Highly recommended!

Our family of four plus our daughter’s friend stayed for 10 amazing days at this home in Kihei. We spent many an hour relaxing on the spacious Lanai when we weren’t visiting the many local beaches which are all within a few minutes. Communication with Dan and Kelly was easy. They checked in every couple of days to make sure that everything was going well. They live just a few minutes away so are available if needed, but never intruded. Such nice and thoughtful people. The only problem we encountered was having to leave! You won’t go wrong renting here, we hope to be back soon. Mahalo Dan and Kelly!
