We had the most amazing time staying here for a week...location was perfect....waking up to overlooking the bay was the best...got to start my mornings off with a swim...very comfortably fit the 10 of us...felt like home! Would love to come back!

Dawn paddle boarding, nighttime manta rays, family, and fun! This stay had it all, and the house location, amenities, and set up made it possible. Fantastic location and extremely comfortable for our family of 8, including two kids under 3. Highly recommended - we will definitely be back.

This was by far the best place we’ve ever stayed at.
The house is amazing. The location is amazing. The shed with all the toys for the kids and adults to use was amazing. Overall we had the best time. The pool is such a nice addition. We enjoyed our morning coffees sitting on the covered deck watching the canoe club come

We had the best time! Could not have picked a better place to stay!! We loved the Seacrest Manta Ray snorkling. Two step beach was great for snorkling. Kids lived the pool! Great vacation!!!!

We had an amazing week at Kona Calm. The location and access to Keahou Bay cannot be beat. The house is large and accommodated our party of 10 very well. We particularly loved the pool and all the water toys. Hopefully we will be back one day!!

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were able to simply enjoy the house, the view, and the ocean. There was enough room for people to chill, great gathering spot for meals, and it was simply what we had hoped it would be. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. Mahalo!

this home has a fantastic location. A few steps to the beach and a lovely private pool and gorgeous gardens in the backyard. Ample room for a large family and close to highways and access to stores. We would recommend.

Location was great, close to the ocean, quiet, pool for the kids and nice spacious well furnished home. Beautiful landscaping. The home is also close to a very good shopping Center. The kitchen was super well equipped with dishes, utensils, and pots & pans. The full lanai was very well used by all. Also, the “toy shed” had everything needed for the beach. Would highly recommend this home for a family vacation.

A few updates need to happen with this beautiful home, and the neighbors are a bit noisy. However, this is a wonderful spot. We would stay here anytime. We live here, part time, but needed a bigger place for family. It was the perfect spot and the perfect way to host family from the mainland.

The pool was good and the location was excellent. The place could use another bathroom for a group of 6 or more. For example, the room with the two beds is two floors above a powder room. There were a lot of rules provided just before check-in and this was the first time we were asked to wash, dry and put back all towels from over 30 years of renting. The request would have been ok if the washer and dryer would have worked better or more efficiently. Overall, it was not bad as there were beach towels, toys and other items provided for our use.

Everything as listed. We loved our time here, and as the title states, the home and location were both great. We appreciated the host providing so much pool/beach/ocean equipment which made our stay much easier and more enjoyable. The home was clean, well-equipped with everything we needed, and the patio where we spent a decent portion of our time was extremely serene. Would highly recommend and definitely would stay again if we could do it all over again!

Our family loved staying here. The house was neat and clean and had plenty of space for all of us. We were surprised at the rocky beach behind the house, but it was a beautiful view and there were plenty of things to do. We appreciate the ability to stay here. I would mention that there were several lightbulbs that were burned out so the bottom level was dark at night. But we had everything else we needed and are grateful you were willing to share your toys too.
The communication at check in was very helpful and I appreciated the heads up about the geckos so I could warn my kids not to flip out. Thanks for part of a wonderful vacation!

This house had it all! We were two families with 4 kids ranging 9-13 years, and they had so much fun. Plenty of room for all. Big couches, fantastic lanai, and all the beach gear you need for the whole gang. A well-equipped kitchen made meal prep fun, and the location was easy driving distance to all the sights and beaches. Thank you Kona Calm for a fantastic holiday retreat!

What a fabulous house and location! Our group of 8 was very comfortable and loved being so close to the water! We used all the beach toys, chairs, snorkeling equipment in the bay then came back to swim in the wonderful pool! We were in Kona for a family wedding and everyone raved that we had the best house! We hosted dinner a few times for our group with comfort. Having coffee on the lanai in the morning was wonderful! (Only cons: the cushions on a lot of the outdoor furniture are old and need replacing. The location of the spiral staircase is interesting in the kitchen. Have to watch your head!) but I would definitely rent this wonderful house again.

The property was great!!! It had everything we needed to enjoy 10 days of Ohana time. And fit our Ohana perfectly. The 5 air conditioners and ceiling fans made it comfortable in this Kona heat. The house was well stocked for everything we needed. The beach toy shed was a bonus stocked with goggles, paddle boards etc. And the pool was a refreshing addition that we enjoyed with the grandkids. We would definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing time! The house was perfect for 8 of us (10 would have been pushing it). The paddle boards and snorkeling gear was a bonus. The only thing that was difficult was getting our 9 yr old out of the pool haha. This is a birthday she will always remember and she is already planning another trip back.

This listing is excellent for families with kids. There is a bay just across the way where you can do all sorts of water activities. It is safe and secure. There is a variety of plants and animals and the setting is beautiful and restful. Stores and restaurants are nearby. The house was spacious and warm feeling. Loved it!

Nikki and Jeff are premiere hosts! The property was just as pictured/described. This was our favorite family vacation! The setup in the house was perfect to accommodate little kids, had plenty of space for all the adults, and was real close to the bay with amazing views! The house was fully stocked with everything we needed and what made the travel easier was the pack and play and high chair the house had. Our kids are still talking about all the fun we had in the pool! We would definitely stay here again. We loved it!

Great communication with Caufields. Only complaint: Lanai chair cushions in desperate need of replacement. Cushions have no cushion even when doubled. This places the sitter too low at the table.

The house is amazing. It’s very tastefully decorated with lots of room and great outdoor space. We spent most of our time by the pool or out on the lanai. The only challenge is the bathrooms. Both full baths are en suite to two of the bedrooms, which means whoever is staying in those rooms has to share the shower. The powder room is in the basement, which means the people staying in the loft have to travel two flights of stair in the night. We made it work, but it was a mild inconvenience and the house is worth it. Shopping is close by and the house comes with lots of toys. We loved our stay.

We truly loved our experience here- our family stayed here with an age range of 4- 74 years old. The pool was perfect for the kiddos, the space was excellent for everyone, the amenities were wonderful, the hosts were very communicative, and we loved the location with proximity to the bay.
