Nice unit in small complex. Had everything we needed even a cute little ice maker. The unit is right on the main road into Princeville so there is traffic noise. I think if it had an air conditioner you wouldn't have to have all the widows open and it would be a lot quieter. The loft is too hot for anyone to sleep comfortably and the stairs are pretty steep. The pool is unique, completely tiled and heated. We used it everyday.

My friends and I stayed here for 4 nights and had a great time! It’s close to many of the attractions on the North side of the island. The place itself was super clean and came with all the necessary items — including a washer and dryer, beach towels, boogie boards, and Netflix on the TV. What more to want?? Overall 10/10 stay.

We had a wonderful time in Kauai and loved staying at the condo. It was well stocked and met our needs perfectly. The basket of treats was a nice touch and supplemented our on-the-go picnic lunches quite nicely! We'd definitely stay here again!

Very cute condo, perfect for a family of four. The washer/dryer inside the condo is a major plus. As far as booking our stay, I got an instant response. Overall, no complaints and we enjoyed our stay. Thank you for the basket of treats!!

We had a lovely stay here. The location is a short drive to beautiful beaches. Some were for surfing and others for snorkeling. My two teenagers could walk to get groceries or food/ icecream at local restaurants. There was a nice park to workout in in the morning. Our hosts provided everything we needed and more...from towels to beach towels, games, books, a boogie board and wonderful snacks. We especiallyloved the ice machine. Note: the loft was a bit too warm despite the fans.. it was a great stay!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The condo is well equipped and affordable. The host replied quickly to any questions we had and always tried to accommodate any requests we had to the best of their ability. The only complaint I would say we had was there is a decent amount of road noise. That is not the hosts fault though, just the fact that the condo is located right off the road through a fairly busy neighborhood. But everything shuts down pretty early in Kauai so it wasn’t usually an issue at bedtime. Definitely recommend this spot!

We live on Maui and wanted to visit friends from Kauai and some friends coming from the mainland. It worked well as our friends we’re staying up the road in Princeville. The property was nice and the pool very clean and quiet. FYI though the condo does back up to the main road and there is a lot of traffic in the early mornings for commuters. If you are a light sleeper bring earplugs we did.

Place was bright and airy. Kitchen well-equipped (loved the ice-maker). Everything very comfortable. Great TV. Just a few steps to pool which is sunny all day. Only downside was the traffic noise. Stormy weather left pavement wet and puddled which I think made the noise more noticeable. All in all, very enjoyable experience. Thanks!

Our hosts were absolute legends, they answered so quickly anytime we had any questions. They even let us come back after checkout because we realized we had forgotten something.
The unit itself, for kids under 5, not ideal. We had a 4 year old and 1 year old with us. The sunken living room and the loft was a bit of a hazard. However it is very clearly marked on the listing that the loft is steep and not for kids. My parents who are in their 60s also didn’t feel comfortable using the loft.
The washer and dryer in the unit was a huge plus! We were very grateful to have such easy access to cleaning our bedding and clothes etc. We also really appreciated having a dishwasher, ice machine and Instapot in the unit for us to use.
The street is quite noisy and many of the screens on the windows weren’t completely sealed which did result in a few unwanted mosquitoes around bedtime.
We REALLY appreciated the park, which was walking distance from the unit. The pool was a tad cold, but as the weather got warmer was doable. The loft did get warm during the heat of the day without having A/C but also cooled off overnight.
Overall, we would definitely recommend the place to family and friends and would definitely stay here again!

The apartment had two floors, a very well equipped kitchen, and a wonderful location being only a 10 min walk away from a beautiful quiet beach. Shopping is close by as are the hiking trails in the north.

Owners were great to deal with. We ran into a few snags but they were very responsive and helpful.
Kitchen was fully equipped and outdoor activity supplies were there and ready to use. Great to have a reserved parking space as well. Walking distance to a beach, market area snd easy to get onto the road to drive to other towns.

Michael and Leslie have made this vrbo a lovely space. It was spacious and had everything I needed. It was so nice to have the cooking basics (oil, spices, coffee, tea) on hand. I was truly impressed with the condo but even more so of the hosts Mike and Leslie. They have really gone out of their way to make sure that your time at their property is special. Response time was so quick from them. Very nice and understanding people. The unit was immaculate and they thought of everything. There was nothing lacking at all. Loved the basket of snacks in the kitchen. I took advantage of these!

First, the communication was excellent from day one and continued throughout the stay. The welcome basket was a sweet touch. The journals with other guest notes and recommendations was unique. Our teenage boys appreciated the snorkeling gear, boogie boards, and sand toys. They got to live out their toddler years. The condo had everything we needed and was cozy. A lovely Kauai getaway. Mike and Leslie think of everything. From snorkel gear to boogie boards, fins, gift basket with Hawaiian chocolates, popcorn and more this place is top notch. There's a pool a BBQ and it's close to all that the north shore has to offer.

Communication was great from day one. We got a lot of information when we made the booking and we’re updated, as needed, along the way (ex. There was some road closures while we were there and we were informed beforehand). We are low maintenance travelers who make due with whatever we are able to get and look for places that we can pay less for since we don’t need much. This place, however, really did have everything you could need. Often times a “fully stocked” kitchen is far from that but that wasn’t the case here. There was also a ton of gear for the beach. The place itself is a bit on the older side but, again, it has everything you need and everything works. Bonus to have a designated parking spot so close to the unit. It’s a gem!

This place was a wonderful spot to stay for the week. It had everything we needed to cook and relax, and we also took advantage of the pool. The hosts left a sweet snack box and had a book of helpful info for our stay. I definitely recommend for a couple or family. The location was also good for us as it was only 10 min walk to restaurants, grocery and the bus.

We stayed here for about a week in June. Great place for a small family. Beds were comfy. There was a lot of street noise in the early hours. I think the entire neighborhood does not have an AC unit, but it gets nice and cool in the evenings.
The place had everything you needed in the kitchen and for beach time.
The owners have a book for every guest to share their experiences, i didn't have time to write anything. But reading what others shared helped with must places to go. Attended a farmers market nearby and also saw a movie outdoors.
Overall stay was great.
Kauai is a lovely island.

It was a very peaceful area and place, I would definitely go again! There was a lot of traffic noise during the day but that won't stop you as you are more than likely at the beach. The owners were very communicative and answered all my questions and even let us check in early. If I had one complaint it would be I wish it were darker at night (black-out curtains, but then that would hinder air flow as there is no ac). We loved this side of the island tons better than south! Mahalo for a wonderful stay!

There’s a lot of good to report about this condo and it’s hosts:
It’s one of the best deals you’re going to find in pricey Princeville, it has an attractive interior, it is well equipped for cooking, is located in a nice, tropical complex with a pool, just a minute from shopping and groceries, and only 6 minutes to Hanalei Bay.
You’ll wake up to an amazing chorus of bird song at dawn, and enjoy the afternoon breeze and sunlight filtering through the unit. The hosts provide sand chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, and a cooler at no extra charge, which was a real help, and there was a fun goodie basket to greet us as well.
The hosts are amazingly responsive and easy to communicate with - just a pleasure to interact with.
(It’s worth noting for the sound sensitive or light sleepers that the condo is adjacent to the main Princeville feeder road, and the traffic is continual and loud during the day, but if you’re at the beach it doesn’t matter! Also, the loft stairs are steep enough that only older children and able bodied adults should navigate them. I think their rate acknowledges this, otherwise they could easily charge more).

Everything was wonderful. Love the location. Think we prefer north shore vs south. Unit is closer to busy road in/out princeville and can be an annoyance, but tolerable. Property owners are quick to respond and the cooler/beach stuff was much appreciated. Will be visiting again for a longer stay.

Mike and Leslie place was tidy and surprisedly more spacious than expected. All of the necessities were available to used. They provided all of the detailed information to easily arrived at the rental with no issues with check in and check out. Great location to get around and fairly close to Hanalei. Farmers Market was walkable distance on Saturday. We highly recommend staying at Mike & Leslie place.

Located next to one of the main roads, which is nice for getting around, but there is a fair amount of vehicle traffic at all hours. Which is to be expected and then wasn't a problem for us, but worth knowing ahead of time. On the other hand, short 5-10 minute walk to shopping center or the ocean. Can't beat that.

It was awesome. No A/C and comes is on major roadway with slot of road noise because you have to keep windows open. But all the other units are no a/c and the positives far outweigh these issues. The owner are very responsive and helpful.

We had a great time staying here. Clean, well maintained complex and unit with quick access to anything you'll need during your stay. Walking distance to grocery store, some shops, a few food options and a playground which is across the street. My nanny stayed here as the Westin Princeton was sold out. She said the place was fine, but I'm not sure I would have booked if I'd caught through reviews/etc that it doesn't have air conditioning. The nanny said the fans were adequate, but it was pretty hot when I arrived to help her get set up. Kauai can get pretty hot during the day.

We had a wonderful time at Michael and Leslie's place. Easy access to all the North Shore has to offer and walking distance to beaches, restaurants, coffee, etc. The apartment itself is roomy and has all the amenities you would ever need. We could not recommend their place more!

This condo was perfect for my 12 yr old daughter and my 11 yr old son and I. It is described perfectly by the owners and a great price for all you get!! The reviews said noise “could be” a issue, so we got a free sound app on our phone, but never was noise a issue! I was truly impressed with how safe, clean and fully stocked our condo was with a wonderful recommendation to try Pink’s in Hanalei! The kids adored the loft, snorkels and boogie boards! I loved the clean, full stocked condo/kitchen and welcome basket. I used to love on Kauai and brought my family back to visit. This was a special trip for me! Much Mahalo to Mike and Leslie for doing such an impressive job!
