Located near the beach and shops. Easy to catch an Uber, tour, or bus. Basic groceries nearby. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Air worked great. We were comfortable. Check-in was easy at the front desk. Walked a lot morning and evening and never felt unsafe. Great neighborhood.

Pros: good budget priced room. Guests can make most of their meals by strategically using the fridge and microwave. Friendly and helpful host. Low cost parking options. Near center of it all in Waikiki.
Opportunities : Need to make sure patio is cleaned off for guests, found bird droppings on chairs. Chairs need replacement due to cracks. Pilows and mattress soiled; need to invest in a waterproof bed cover and water proof pillow covers. Room needs to be stocked with more garbage bags and cleaning supplies. Invest in a blackout curtain.

The property was very clean, well decorated, updated and perfect for what we needed for a week-long trip. The fridgerator and microwave came very handy and it was nice to have a ice machine at the end of the hall. The property is located in the Aqua Palms hotel which is in a great location near the lagoon, beaches and the rest of the Waikiki area. Free coffee and water was available in the lobby of the hotel. There is also an IHOP that you can get a 20% discount if you show your card key adjacent to the hotel. Overall, this was a great stay and we would definitely book this unit again for the future.

Front staff very polite, 3 elevators worked well. Room was clean. Could have used more than 2 rolls of TP for the week but not a huge deal. The room was ok for sleeping in but room is dark and street noise is very loud due to location. From our research it is very fair value compared to what is out there. I would recommend it for those who need a clean base of operations but don't intend on spending a lot of time in their room.

Sorry for posting this review so late! We stayed at this location on October 2015. Our first time in Hawaii.
We wanted to spend time in Honolulu and also be near Waikiki beach. This location was perfect for us.
The room is located in a hotel (The Palms) and the owner (Henry) bought the room and now rents it out. So it's a standard hotel room setup. It's very cozy and we loved it. There is a small balcony with nice views of the busy street and surrounding buildings and you can even see the ocean a bit through the buildings.
Henry even arrange a parking pass for us and was very accommodating and provided good information to us. We discovered a restaurant just down the street from the hotel 'Wailana Coffee House' , we loved this place! Lots of old school vibe, great service and good food! Oh, and $4 Mai Tai's! There is also an 'iHop' restaurant just nearby, and we did try going there one morning, but we waited, and waited, and waited for service and finally left to go to 'Wailana Coffee House' instead!
Waikiki beach is not too far away and the walk is easy. This is also the location of the famous 'Diamond Head' point. We wanted to climb it but finally we just looked at it from our spot on the beach! Waikiki beach is very nice and busy with lots of people and nice swimming. We really enjoyed walking around the area and had some good 'shave ice' here. And also visited a few 'ABC' stores!
We loved the area and staying at this location. It was cool to be so close to the action. The room is small and really cozy. The small balcony is nice to sit at and check out the views of busy Honolulu.

The view from the balcony is wonderful. You can even see the ocean! Comfortable bed, good shower, excellent a.c., and large-screen t.v. Food options are literally out the front door with lots of fun things to see and do right across the street. I really enjoyed my stay. The owners are very pleasant and helpful.

My Rental condo was very nice. The Management Team was extremely nice and helpful. It was affordable right on the bus line. The condo was in a great location across from the Hilton Hotel Resorts. IHOP was right next to the condo so it was easy to get breakfast. The condo was everything we needed to make our stay in Hawii a good experience. I would recommend this Condo.

MY TEMPORARY STAY AT THIS CONDO WAS LIFE SAVING FOR ME. I STAYED THERE TEMPORARILY TO MOVE INTO MY NEW APARTMENT. THE OWNER MADE ME FEEL LIKE I WAS A TOURIST DESPITE BEING A KAMAAINA. I HAD FUN WALKING AROUND WAIKIKI , EAT MY MEALS AROUND THE CORNER AND COME BACK TO MY ROOM REFRESHED, NEAT /CLEAN AND COZY!

This property was perfect for our vacation. Our family was staying at the Hale Koa, which was just half a block away. Easy access to the beach and the property was stocked with beach toys - boogie boards, snorkels, etc. No need to buy them there & have to pack them home! We also liked that it was close walking distance to the mall, convention center, Side Street Inn and Don Quixote. The room was very comfortable, had a lovely view of Diamond Head and well appointed with pretty much everything we needed. We appreciated that Henry took the time to meet us and get us situated. Items to note: the parking garage is pretty tight, so resist the urge to rent that giant 4wd SUV and get a more moderately sized car instead. You won't need your car if you're doing anything along waikiki anyway. Also, the Aqua Palms Hotel wifi was spotty when we stayed there - just an FYI in case you're going to depend on the wifi for something important. It could have just been a technical problem while we were there. All in all, a great property & well managed. We'd definitely stay here again!

Henry was very kind to give a little tour and make sure that we were comfortable before he left. This place is pretty much identical to the other hotel rooms but has a nice memory foam bed. Other than that it has everything you need and you are surrounded by little stores around the street. At a low rate as well to help those on a budget.

This was my first time in Hawaii, and the condo is in a perfect location. It's within walking distance to lots of shopping and convenience stores; and the beach is across the street (if you cut through the Hilton). There are trolley and bus stops close to the condo/hotel, as well. The accommodations were clean, though modest, so if you want luxury amenities like a spa or a 4-star restaurant, you should look elsewhere. That being said, there is a small pool, and there is parking, if you choose to rent a car. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and I would not hesitate to book here again -- thanks for an enjoyable stay!

This condo is located in a very convenient position and clean. There is a trolley stop in front of hotel, you can take this trolley around Waikiki. And the biggest mall is not far from hotel too. My wife and I very love this condo.

This place was in a great location and very affordable. It is an easy walk to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. If you need to go further, there are plenty of buses and taxis that stop in front of the building. The owners are super nice. I will definitely come back!

We spent 3.5 months island hopping in Hawaii, only 2 weeks on Oahu and we wish we would have stayed longer! The condo is centrally located, in a very well maintained hotel. A great view of the city from the balcony. The condo was tastefully decorated, and the bed was super comfy! WiFi was great! The bus stops right outside and can take you almost anywhere. We took it to the Pearl Harbor memorial, a must see! We received our damage deposit back after two days. It doesn't have a full kitchen but with so many nice restaurants near by, we had no problem dining out affordably. With the little fridge and microwave we were able to self cater our breakfast and lunch. We would definitely rent here again! Tip: Hike Diamond head crater, great views!

It's all about location. Great access to everything one needs to have a great time in Hawaii. The studio is clean and comfortable. The balcony affords a view of the ocean and the park. A short walk to the beach and the rest is up to you. Fireworks in front of the Hilton plus interesting neighborhood restaurants, bars and shopping. If you can't have a good time here it's your fault.

The condo location was perfect; entrance to Waikiki, close walking distance to the beach, restaurants and mall. Add the free parking (driving in the parking lot is very tight), condo was clean, bed was very comfortable and owner was wonderful help. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai-breezy but blocks the liquid sunshine.

The condo was very clean, is VERY WELL SITUATED in the city and close to several ABC store. you also have a great view of the city from the balcony. Free parking was appreciated. The unit has everything you need and a good beach gear. We had a very good service from the owner and the reimbursement of the depot was made very quickly.

We've been back and forth in Hawaii since 2010. This property is the best we've stayed in so far. It is close to everything - mall, hilton hawaiian and parks. Downstairs they have IHOP and will give all the guest 10% discounts when card keys are presented to cashier. Close to todai and starbucks is located across the street inside the hilton hotel. They dont charge wifi and you can connect as many devices as possible I had my personal computer, 3 iphones and ipad all are connected and the wifi is pretty fast. Parking is also free and very conveniently located since the elevator is a step away from the assigned spot. Linens were immaculately clean as well as the towels. The owner is also nice enough to provide beach towels and umbrella so you can comfortably stay in the beach. The room it self is a few steps away from the ice machine and elevators. The view is phenomenal although the beach view is on the right side only. A perfect rating for this condo and I will definitely recommend this to all my friends and families. Thanks Henry! You're the best!

This place is central to almost everything; Waikiki Beach area, Ala Moana Mall, etc. And free parking!!! The owner, Henry, check us in to make sure everything was set up and functioning. We stayed for 2 weeks and the only time we had to contact Henry was to say goodbye and thanked him for allowing us to stay as his rental.

This is our second stay and it gets better every time. The accommodations are very clean and comfortable. A short walk or drive to to some of the prettiest beaches on Ohau. Also, a great location because of the close proximity to Whole Foods and several excellent restaurants. The owners are delightful and go out of their way to make us feel at home. We plan to return again.

Location was very good, just a few moments walk to the beach. It also was not crowded, I originally expected it to be packed. Also about 10 easy minutes walk to the right takes you to a large shopping centre which has a vast food court selection. On the way, there is a beautiful Yacht Club and also another spot a lot of the locals go to surf. Amazingly no bugs anywhere, even at the beach. Thursday had free manager's reception with excellent Hawaiian entertainment as well as free drinks and snacks. Weather was terrific. Many restaurants within easy walking distance. The room was clean which is the number one issue with anyplace we stay. Associated staff were very exceptionally polite and helpful.
All this contributed to us rebooking same place again on our return route.

The room was clean and comfortable. The owner was very easy to get a hold of and quick to respond to any issues. It was nice to have an outdoor space all to ourselves. The road below is quite noisy, but most of the noise is blocked out when the sliding door is shut. The location was great - not in the middle of everything but within walking distance to both the mall and downtown shops/restaurants. All in all a great stay - I would certainly recommend it!

The studio was very nice, the place had a very comfy bed and pretty balcony. It wasnt right in the center of waikiki which i liked, as the food was cheaper in the area. Overall a nice place for our 7 night stay. The owner was very easy to deal with.
