The place was spotless and easy to find, close to the beach and had multiple walking trails. Excellent communication! Host was responsive and very helpful. The tips and guide was helpful! Overall was great stay in quiet and pleasant surroundings. Unit had everything you need except laundry.

Lani was very communicative. The studio was great. We didn't cook, but the kitchen is well equipped and had everything we needed for coffee in the morning before our daily outings. The location is perfect. Would highly recommend and will plan to stay in the future.

We loved the view out the back window and the deck. The bathroom was a nice size. The kitchenette was tiny but functional with plenty of dishware, glasses, etc. We had a little trouble figuring out the two burner cooktop. The fans and A/C worked great and kept everything comfortable. There was a nice walking path along a nearby golf course. Thee pool was a comfortable temperature. There was a supermarket, coffee shop and at least two restaurants in the nearby Princeville Center about a 5 minute drive. The host kept in touch daily to check on any needs we might have. She provided lots of great info on restaurants, shops, beaches and sightseeing.

My husband and I stayed at Lani's condo and had a wonderful time. This cute little studio had everything we needed during our 10-day vacation on Kauai, from cooking essentials to snorkeling gear. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom surprisingly spacious, and the streaming services were a nice bonus.The cooking area is compact—really just room for one person at a time—but it worked well enough for our needs. Some of the snorkeling gear was in good shape, though not all of it, so if you plan to snorkel often, I’d recommend renting gear from the local shops in Hanalei. The Wi-Fi could be a bit spotty at times, but in a way it encouraged us to disconnect from our phones—which is exactly what a vacation should be about.

Everything was clean and comfortable.Our favorite thing was how quick we could get to so many amazing beaches and restaurants. That was exactly what we wanted. The place was not what we expected in terms of the layout. It’s a bit tight with lots of furniture and had an odd lay out. The kitchen is really best for making coffee and heating things up but we didn’t do any actual cooking which turned out to be a blessing in disguise since we got to eat out every meal! We loved the beach equipment available and used that everyday.

Flo-through breezes and fans keep the place cool and fresh. Lani's Kauai guide was great.Kauai is so beautiful, Lani and her place so welcoming - I would return again

I booked this condo as a spot for 4 nights between arriving in Hawaii and meeting in Oahu. Hadn’t stayed in Princeville before, and the weather was rainier than I had hoped, but unit was nice, well designed and laid out. WiFi was plenty strong for my work zooms.Owner was very helpful in advance and during my stay. Should you stay here? An unqualified YES!

My boyfriend and I booked this stay after looking at several options. It was perfect! The pictures are cute but it is better in person. Lani was so helpful. Check in was easy, everything was clean, and we had no issues. The family downstairs was so welcoming. The path behind the property to the beach was really cool! I cannot recommend this property more!

Our host Lani was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. The place is small and cute. You can hear some traffic and the folks downstairs had small children that we could hear too. But for the most part the condo was an excellent choice for us.

My wife loved Lani’s attentional to detail. Lani explained the property very well in the VRBO description so we knew what to expect. Very beautiful place. The ceiling fans and the bedroom cooling fan was much appreciated on two extra warm nights. the weather intimidated us from snorkeling unfortunately butLani's equipment on site had us ready. The property was beautiful, clean, and really well-equipped. You can cook in it if you need, and there are various swimming and beach supplies. Lani, the owner, is incredible. She helps with anything you need and provides any information you might want too. She's fantastic and we had the best time in the condo. We highly recommend it and hope to be back soon!

My wife and I came for our 35th anniversary, didn't know much about Kauai but knew it was very scenic and had some great hiking trails. We stayed here for the 1st half of our trip and stayed on the south side of the island for the 2nd half. We much preferred the north side (if you need to shop at Lululemon, go to the south side). The location of the VRBO was very peaceful, relaxing, and quiet (other than the roosters, of course, but they're everywhere on the island so no getting around that). It's within walking distance to things like the Queen's Bath and a pickup point for the shuttle to Haena Park. It's also a short drive to several beaches, grocery store, shaved ice, etc.
The kitchenette was great for making meals - we actually only ate out once on our whole trip, the rest of our meals we made in the condo. The lack of AC was no big deal, we were there late June/early July and didn't need it. Lani has a small cooling unit in the bedroom which was enough to keep it cool, plus the fan provided some white noise that blocked out the roosters, making it easier to sleep.
Lani was great to work with, very helpful and communicative. One of the best things of staying here was Lani's guide for Kauai. Lots of very useful information, which made our whole trip go much smoother.
Would definitely stay here again. Thanks, Lani!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Lani’s condo. We arrived the same day as a wedding we were attending and Lani and Tanya were super accommodating in allowing us to check in early. The condo is spacious, has good amenities like a mini fridge, electric stovetop, kitchen ware, beach towels, and sunscreen! We felt really comfortable in the space. There is also a designated parking spot for you if you bring or rent a car.
It was also very close to amazing food spots like Hanalei bread company and beautiful beaches like Anini beach.
Only tip is to bring ear plugs - the birds and roosters are quite loud at night and in the early morning.

Simply put, great location and space for 1-3 people, especially for the price. You are in walking distance to some beaches as well as restaurants and a grocery store. Hanalei is a short 7 min drive away. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Lani was so communicative leading up to the trip and during our stay! She also provides an incredible, updated, and comprehensive guide to the island prior to your arrival, which we used to plan our trip. It was such a great resource!

My husband and I had a fabulous time staying here! Everything we needed was in the condo, which was very well laid-out and nicely furnished. Cooking was easy in the condo’s well-equipped kitchen area (there was also a gas grill by the pool). Bedding was comfortable and there were plenty of linens. We also appreciated the beach chairs, beach towels and snorkeling equipment. The property was very quiet and peaceful, with lush landscaping and a nice pool. The property was situated exactly as advertised, within a convenient walking or driving distance to shops, restaurants and many gorgeous beaches. The community the condo is in, Princeville, is really beautiful, with amazing scenery and lots of walking trails. The property owner, Lani, was incredibly thoughtful and helpful. She was quickly responsive to all of our questions both before our trip even started, and while we were there. She’s a very gracious person who made us feel completely at home in her condo. I highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful time in Kauai, and Lani's condo was perfect for recharging between full days of exploring and hiking. I also greatly appreciated the guide she put together - it is so thorough, and was super helpful for our planning. She is very communicative and friendly, and the check-in/out process was clear and easy.
Everything was very tidy and comfortable, and the kitchenette is well-equipped - we made dinner one night (and used the shared grill out by the pool) and ate a few breakfasts at the condo before setting out for the day. Also appreciated the beach chairs & umbrella!
I would recommend bringing ear plugs for sleeping because you will want the windows open and there are other condos/people close by (and of course the roosters that are everywhere on the island - but they were actually the quietest here of anywhere we stayed). It didn't cool off much at night during our trip, but there were several nice fans that allowed us to sleep comfortably.
The location is fantastic - tucked away but close to the main road - it took about 10 mins to get to Hanalei where we went several times for restaurants etc.

My two teen sons and I visited Kauai and stayed here for a week and explored the island. The unit was the perfect size for the three of us and featured what we needed to have a comfortable home base. Queen in the bedroom and fold out sofa worked wonderfully. Just enough kitchen area to prepare some quicker meals and store goodies from nearby Foodland. Lani was a gracious and quickly communicative host. Do take her up on her guide and recommendations. I've visited before and I was surprised by just how much snorkeling and sights right around Princeville. I'd definitely stay here again. Late-open pool right before bed with all the stars in the sky is an indelible memory.

Lani's place was perfect for our few day stay in Kauai. It was quaint and cozy, in a great area close to everything on the north shore, and Lani's communication and recommendations were excellent. I only wish we could have stayed longer. The multiple fans and portable water AC machine were ideal and worked amazing for hot days. The complex was beautiful and safe, and it was nice to meet area folks, and go to the weekly market just a five minute walk away. Would stay again!!

Lani is a terrific host who will set you up for a great stay and then assist throughout. Location is terrific with two beautiful beaches a short drive away. The condo isn't spectacular, but it doesn't need to be. It's more than enough for two. We'll be back for sure.

The space was perfect for 2 people and we had all that we needed. The condo was clean and the beach equipment was very useful. If you don’t care about having an ocean view and want a good location, this condo is great. We would stay here again!
