It is a low budget place to stay. The property is pretty dated although some of the regular rooms looked a little more modern these rooms were not considered part of the motel, so they were basic. Not a glamorous place by any means but the bed was soft and the view wasn't too bad. Location was good. Just a few minutes from the excitement. I didn't need any frills and didn't get any.

The pool area was nicely shaded, unfortunately a building is being built next door so, there was lots of noise while at the pool. The balcony was great for the morning sunshine. Lots of places to eat all around.

the suite is big enough for a couple but no more than that. The unit could use an update and a deep cleaning. The pros are that it is in an excellent location and the pool area is great. There is a small ocean view. One of the beach chairs was broken so we bought beach mats.It could use a few more items in the kitchenette. Bathroom could use a fan and the lanai could use smaller furniture to fit the space better. Air conditioning worked well and bed was comfortable enough. Loved the location of the Bamboo. Easybwalk to the beach , shops and restaurants. Nice pool and hot tub. Front desk was friendly and helpful. We personally like the smaller boutique type character the Bamboo has. Would stay again.

I had a great stay at the Bamboo ! This was a solo trip for me . I felt very safe and the room was cozy, and comfortable . The AC worked perfectly , it was quiet, clean and very close to beach, restaurants , the International Market , and of course the ABC stores are plentiful! Always a great spot for a cold drink or a snack. I rented a car and had to use a couple different parking garages located 3-6 blocks away. That was fine for me. Both parking garages were attached to hotels and both felt very safe . Waikiki was filled with tourists so walking the streets always felt safe as there were lots of people around .

We stay a week in this cute studio, that is small but functional. We enjoyed eating on the balcony, the proximity to the beach and how easy it was to get buses. It is in the center of Waikiki with tons of shopping nearby. However, being in Waikiki, it is also noisy and direct facing a taller building.

Lovely studio minutes from beach, shopping, restaurants. Water view from the balcony. Responsive hosts. Would definitely stay there again. Could use a fan in the bathroom to cut down on moisture.

This is a cute little property with a balcony that has a view of the ocean. It was clean and ready to go when we arrived. You don't have to wait for an elevator very long and there are only a couple rooms on each floor. Nice boutique hotel that is only a short walk to the beach!

The pool area was really quaint, comfortable and private. The restaurant at the pool serves delicious meals. Quick walk to Waikiki beach and close to shopping, restaurants etc. room was smaller than pictured and could use some updates. Bed was comfortable.

Nice little room high above the street - quiet.
Loved the shady pool area and just right temp hot tub. Little restaurant with basic good food opens at 5, but with no drinks. You bring your own. Slow elevator at times with only one working at a time. Great location with main Waikiki Beach a couple of blocks away and the bus stop across the street. Purchase a HOLO pass at the closest 7-Eleven (cash only) to make riding easier!

We were very please with our stay. The microwave broke but was replaced the next day! Also we needed a broom and dust pan again received the next day very good service!
The Front desk was so friendly and helped us with all queries!

The location was the best part, but this apartment needs some love and maintenance. Ceiling is dirty, and on the first night a live cochroach scurried by. The bathtub doesnt drain. The kitchenete also was in pretty bad shape with a rocking refrigerator. All could be remedied with a good cleaning and some new paint or fix a few things. Wasnt convenient to do laundry due to the host leaving on set of sheets for a week long stay. One elevator down the entire week made for a slow journey up with an almost full building. Pool and hot tub are enjoyable though, and we could walk everywhere.

The unit is a basic hotel room with mini-kitchenette, a comfortable bed and a small lanai. Not much of a view, but this is a great place to sleep and is in a convenient location to enjoy the Waikiki area. Also, the building has a nice pool and tiki bar. The owner has equipped the unit with beach towels and beach chairs, and even a cooler for guests to use. It was a perfect place for a couple to enjoy Waikiki.

Communication with the property manager was great, and the location of the hotel was perfect for us! So close to the beach and shopping and food.
The room itself was great too for the price comapred to others in the area. We enjoyed the AC. We thought the bed had a good amount of support and we liked it. We didn't use the stove as we didn't end up needing it, but the fridge was really useful.

was a little disappointed not hearing from the vrbo team at all. not even just checking in to see how our stay was.the bed was not very comfortable, but amenities were fine. nice to have a hot tub to use after a long walking day.

Went to the front desk to ask for shampoos, towels, and toilet paper and was told I couldn’t get them from them and to contact the property manager. I never received any instructions on this or was ever contacted by the property managers to see if we needed anything. Not even a welcome or anything. We went out and bought toilet paper, shampoos, and towels! Great job guys!

This little condo is great for 4-5 day stay. A slice of the ocean can bee seen from the bank on y and it is only a couple blocks away. Extras like beach towels and chairs were a pleasant surprise.
The bathroom / hall could use another couple towel racks or hooks.

This review is for room 1203, as our booking was changed at the last minute. The room was spacious. I loved that it had a kitchenette equipped with basics for cooking easy meals. I also enjoyed that they provided beach towels, beach chairs, and body surfing boards. The stand-alone shower needs some TLC; it wasn’t dirty, it’s just old and could use some detailing. Very conveniently located 2blocks from beach, 1.5 blocks from an ABC store. Overall, an excellent experience.

I'll be honest our first impression upon entering the room was negative - room was warm, furniture was worn, and an off smell in the room. However once we turned down the AC and let it cool off/air out the room was great...you don't spend much time in it so as along as the bed is comfortable and the temp is as well it was great. Hey its no 5 star hotel, but for them money and location it is well worth it. Would we come back and stay here again...a definite yes!
