This property compared to the online photos is not at all accurate. It’s sort of like a dating app where a potential match uses a photo from 10 years earlier and 50 lbs lighter. The sofa and area rug are both very sold and worn out. There’s no comfortable place to relax while watching tv. The exhaust over the stove has sticky oil which has hardened dripping down. The kitchen is setup with dishes, pots, bowls and utensils. Our last full day there the water was shut off without any notice. We learned by meeting someone in the elevator that the water is off the first Wednesday of every month until 3:30-4:30 in the afternoon yet Ali’i said they were unaware of this. Had we been informed we could have prepared or chosen a different location to stay for our vacation all together. Because we requested we were refunded for one day the rental fee, nothing from VRBO. Anyone considering this unit, garbage trucks and police activity will be heard and seen everyday! It’s very noisy location! Garbage trucks will wake you up every morning and car horns are obsessive. Reviews, free parking and location are why we chose this unit. Any future trip back we will stay in a more reputable and quieter hotel on Waikiki. Unfortunately VRBO doesn’t let you post photos, otherwise we’d share the true look and feel of this condo.

Ideal location. About a block from International Market Place. Parling with washer and dryer. Some cautions, only one key Fob to access elevator. Stay together and not an issue. Park tight. We were stuck with a large SUV. Got in and out, just tight. Carteful with sliding door between bedroom. It blocks bathroom door. Someone inside opening the door can knock the sliding door off. Need two people to put back. One to realign the top screw to door. Another to lift up. We did it easily.

I love this location and the amenities. It was super laid-back and easy to get in to. They supplied us with a ton of towel and extra blankets. The washer and dryer saved us! I do, however, wish the pool was heated and there was a jacuzzi. But those things are out of our lovely host’s control. Would stay again there anytime!

This is my second time booking on Waikiki with Ali'i Beach Rentals. We loved the convenient location, king bed, kitchen, washer/dryer, dishwasher, Disney+, spacious rooms, parking, quietness, safe area at night, and security requiring to badge in at every entrance. Everything worked out for us. The neighbor guy was also friendly. Wished it was a bit more sanitized (dusty, gritty/sticky knobs, old curtains, few small bugs, old couch, etc.), but honestly it didn't bother us since I expected that level of cleanliness/dirt -it was still livable and comfortable enough. It was a nice surprise to find other non-guaranteed amenities: beach umbrella, boogie-surf-board, beach chairs, ice packs, travel cooler, and airbed. Thank you so much for providing these items during our stay.

Great location, shares the same block as the famous marugame udon just on the opposite side right in front of the ala wai canal. The bed(s) were actually really comfortable, and all the sheets and pillows were sanitized! (you can tell when the pillows have been cleaned.)
Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed for the week! Love the small lanai so when we cooked the door could remain open and the smells could leave and not enter the full apt. Washer and dryer was amazing to have, literally the reason we booked this home. towels, beach towels, baskets, hangers, and beach supplies were also provided for our stay.
Only downfall, which aren’t too bad,
- limited living room seating. the sofa wasn’t too spacious for 3 people to sit, and the wooden stools were fine just not if we wanted to sit for a long time to stay comfy.
- windy windy weather which made the sliding doors RATTLE! can’t control the weather so this may never happen to you, but it was so hard to sleep when the doors would rattle so loud!
overall 4.8/10! I would definitely book this place again. it was super quiet and relaxing!

The stay was without any issue related to the unit. The water was shut off for about 7 hours one day almost as a regular maintenance issue. We could not sit at or by the pool for 6 of the 14 days due to high winds.

The location is central and very convenient. The apartment is great. It was clean, having a washer and dryer and well-equipped kitchen was very useful, and rooftop access, views, beach stuff (chairs, beach towels), A/C, and parking spot were all great. One inconvenience, which is more about the building than the apartment, is that the building had to shut off the water for repairs for 3 out of our 8 days. The couch in the living room has seen better days. But otherwise everything worked well and our contact person was very responsive and helpful! Would recommend.

Really enjoyed this condo, found it to be the perfect location. Loved the parking stall. Easy access, this condo suited the way we travel which is to rent a car, pack breast and lunch and come home in the evening. The hidden gem is the rooftop grilling area and pool/sauna. The condo itself is great, a little short on counter space. Outside noise was a little loud at times due to construction. On our last day water was shutoff (construction related), we felt bad we couldn’t do some dishes.

Staying in that apartment feels like living at home as there are washer, dryer, and dishwashing machine in the apartment unit. For people who like to cook, the kitchen is sufficient to cook a big meal.The location of the apartment is great. It is close to the beach, malls, restaurants ... etc. The instructions to get the apartment keys were well-written and easy to follow. The only thing that was missing was a local telephone line in the apartment. No big deal if you enable roaming on your cellphone.Overall, it was a great experience.

This location could not have been better for us! Close to the beach, close to getting out of Waikiki when we needed to do other things.
The unit fit our needs perfectly - the only two comments I would make is 2 forks and the sliding glass door; . 4 forks and a larger frying pan would have been awesome - but being resourceful folks, we made do. The sliding door definately needs the track cleaned and/or new rollers as it took two of us to open and close it.
I would not hesitate to return here again!

The site is maybe 50 yards from the International Market so you're in the thick of Waikiki. Great place, washer and dryer, kitchen with all appliances, fridge, air condition in main and bedroom. Good water pressure in shower, double vanity. Clean room, plenty of towels and sheets, boogie boards and beach chair provided. The keys in the lockbox are easy to access although I did not realize the small circular thing was the "fob". I was looking for one the same as the car fobs you have. This was much more convenient. Cable tv (and dvd player if you need) was a nice plus. A great place at a great rate. A queen bed and a pull out sofa (believe I also saw a blow up mattress in the closet as well). The picture shows a futon but it's actually a pull out sofa bed. Happy the rental cars have rear cameras to park in the tight parking space. :)

The listing advertised that there was a king bed and a pull out couch. There was a note when I walked in that the pull out couch was broken since March and it still wasn’t fixed when we arrived in mid April. It was frustrating because we needed to use this space and I brought it up to management that I should have been informed prior to arrival. They gave me a little money off due to inconvenience but I was expecting a lot more money discount due to the inconvenience

Plenty of space for 2 people. King bed is nice. AC works well. Main issues is that there are slats in the window glass that allows outside noise to get in and you cannot close it completely. Even though you are on the 11th floor, you feel like you hear everything at street level, including the morning trash truck. The view nothing spectacular, but you get what you pay for in Hawaii. Location is convenient as there are several good eating spots just down the block. Check-in is simple and easy and parking is nice to have.

The property was clean, had free parking, and a washer and dryer in the unit. The only downside that I may mention is that you do hear a lot of street noise. Overall, if we plan on staying in the Waikiki area, we would definitely consider staying at this property again.

Check in process was smooth. Condo was very clean and at a good location. We loved that there were cooking and beach essentials. Washer and dryer in unit was the best thing which you wont get even staying in a resort. There was a pool as well even though we didn't use it. Free parking was a perk. You may not have other luxuries of a resort stay such as daily house keeping or ocean view however we had a great time at this place.

Good condo with room for 4. Convenient location. A block from the International Marketplace. Great food close by. Poke bowls across the street, Mexican food with delicious fish tacos on the corner right next to the best donuts at Donut King, and also next to Udon noodle house and Paia Fish Market restaurant. Not to mention the food court at the mall that has a great variety. So you'll be set for all your meals.
The property is within walking distance to Waikiki beach and all of the merchant shops, from ABC stores to Gucci. The people are super friendly in the area, no one seems sketchy. The condo has fobs that are used to get into your unit and parking and there is a security guard at the lobby desk. The condo itself has a small living area with a fold out sofa bed that sleeps 2, a kitchen with quite a few utensils, a bedroom with a king sized bed and a bathroom with tub/shower combo and a washer and dryer. There are 2 very small patio areas. One off the kitchen and bedroom which is a good place to put beach toys and let your suits hang dry, the other is off the living room and it is only large enough to stand on, no chairs will fit. The unit comes with a few small toiletries, 3 rolls of toilet paper, 2 rolls of paper towels, 3 garbage bags, bath towels and beach towels, a blow dryer, iron, brooms and stick vac. There was quite a bit of sand on the floor even after sweeping it myself. I think the floors do need a deep cleaning because our feet were black after walking around inside (I think house keeping sweeps and doesnt mop). Also, our shower had a leak that I think is in the wall. After every shower water would drain out onto the floor and the drywall was soft. I will be letting management know. The unit comes with sheets and pillows, I did request additional bedding for the sofa bed and it was provided. There is a pool and barbecues on the roof, with bathrooms, and a gym. One parking space is provided for free. Worth mentioning, it is noisy because it is downtown, I used earplugs. The condo does have air conditioning, a window unit in the living area and a mini split in the bedroom. If you want to save money this is the way to go. It's not a tropical paradise like the hotels on the beach, but it is within walking distance to the beautiful landscapes of Hawaii. Aloha!

This building is located in the perfect location. It’s a stones throw away from the International Market and walking distance from the Waikiki Strip and literally it’s right across one of my all time FAVORITE foodie spot Maguro Bros. The unit is well equipped with pots and pans if you feel you want to eat in. It also comes with a parking spot which is a huge plus. Parking rate in Waikiki is between $35-$40/day. You also have a washer/dryer, which for me, sealed the deal. The check in/check out process was easy. I had no problems retrieving the key/fob from the lock box. You can’t enter the building or elevator without a fob. I felt safe and the staff were really nice. I will definitely stay here again

The unit was clean, the ease of checking in and out was good, just pick up and return keys and fobs to a lock box. I needed a parking space for our rental car, which this came with. The only slight downside was the shower fixture valve was almost impossible to use, a bad design. Once we figured how to pull it out at the base from both sides with our fingertips, all was well. There were some loud cars, motorcycles, and car stereos passing by that are typical of Waikiki, but I would stay here again. Great location for the zoo, which I would recommend.

The unit had all the items we needed for our stay. I was very glad to have the designated / reserved parking space.
The shower fixture was almost impossible to turn on, it had a single lever that needed to be pulled out to start water flow. The lever made this almost impossible, it put the valve in a bind. We found that we could turn it on using out fingertips at the circular base of the handle to pull it straight out. I told the management company about it, hopefully this will be resolved. I would stay here again.

Condo was the perfect size for us 3 girls.. It was nice being able to do our laundry in our unit. The check in process was super easy and the complex had a key fob that you have to use to get in and take the elevator to your floor which we really liked so not anyone can just get in so it felt secure. It had a full kitchen which was perfect for us to cook a nice dinner in. It also came with an air mattress ,beach chair , umbrella and boogie boards which was awesome to have to use. The pool was on the roof top which had a great view of the city and had bbq grills to use although we couldn’t figure out where to get the propane to use them. Location was great and right in the middle of everything which was very convenient. Would stay here again.

Just spent 10 days there and was happy with the unit. The building and unit seemed clean and secure with a fob needed for the elevator and parking garage. Check in instructions were clear and had no issues getting the keys from the lockbox. I didn't have any need to contact the property manager but did get follow up messages to make sure everything was good with my stay. It can be a bit noisy at times but the same could be said of any building in the area...Waikiki is a busy spot so you will hear the garbage trucks in the morning, an occasional police siren at night, etc.. The TV is a bit on the small side but not a big deal. Overall if I was returning to the area I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We rented a car (highly recommend!!) in order to explore the island more, and really appreciate that this place has parking. The check-in process was a mess though. We arrived about 1 hour early so we wanted to get into the parking garage to park our car and walk around. We got the key fobs and learn that it did not open the parking garage door. I was thinking okay, nbd, we were an hour early so they probably haven't activated the parking garage. We left a VM asking if we can park early and did not hear back from them. An hour after check-in time, we decided to try again. The key fob still did not work for the parking garage or elevator to get to our unit. Called the phone number provided but no one answered since it was past their working hour. We had to call the emergency line a couple of times until someone picks up and give us information for another set of keys that actually worked. It was a pretty frustrating start to the trip.
The window's blinds do not close all the way, the kitchen doesn't have any condiments except for salt and pepper. The bedroom A/C unit was great. Noise can be heard from the street at night and early morning.

Initial impression of this condo is that it is a nice building with good security. We were able to get the keys easily, but had trouble finding the place we were supposed to park when accessing the keys. But once we got our keys, the designated parking spot was awesome (huge + when parking in the area is a premium). Upon check-in, we were greeted with 3 bottles of water in the fridge, well stocked towels in the bathroom, and a very clean condo. Starter supplies in the bathroom and kitchen were very helpful. The hard floors throughout was a nice plus. Lots of kitchen appliances. All the decor was stylish. Comfy king size bed and a futon in the living room. The A/C unit in the bedroom was good enough to cool the whole unit, because the window unit in the living room was a little loud and hard to operate. The Jack and Jill bathroom made it easy when we had guests over, and the stacked washer and dryer was a huge +. The rooftop pool and BBQ amenities were amazing. The WiFi was super fast, but the TV/satellite was a little difficult to figure out. This condo is super close to the beach and Waikiki strip, but just far away enough that it isn't too noisy or crowded. Located only one block away from The International Market. A few cosmetic things need to be updated, but overall it was a great place to call home for the week. We would definitely stay here again.

Pros- Situated off the main strip yet close to shopping, food, and beaches. The designated parking was very nice and what sold us on this unit. A/C in the bedroom and living area. Ground staff were all very nice and approachable. Having the rooftop pool was nice with our kids, they loved it! We found an air mattress in the closet and used that for them to sleep on (huge plus). Kitchen was stocked with cooking supplies. Having the fridge and ice trays helped a ton. Two laundry baskets and just unit stacked washer and dryer.
Cons- The room door doesn’t close unless you turn the knob and pull it shut. The chain to lock the door is half broken (not fully screwed on). When walking in the second nightstand was next to the front door and cut my thigh. There’s no weather stripping on the front door so you hear everything in the hall (the elevator is right across from this unit). We couldn’t figure out how to turn on the shower (we called the number given and didn’t ever receive a call back. We instead YouTubed it and figured it out). There was water damaged drywall that has been painted over several times in the kitchen and bathroom. There’s a hole in the drywall behind the porch door in the bedroom. The living room curtains were hanging off in a couple areas and wouldn’t open (I only tried once- didn’t want to make it worse). The futon/couch is not comfortable at all and has ripped fabric hanging underneath it. There was a stain on the cushion and the pillows looked grimy. The table is handmade and unstable. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the pillows were tiny and flat (there was long dark hair strands on two of them the night we arrived). Their are a couple outlets that didn’t work (next to the TV in the living room). The lighting was very limited and made the entire place dark at night. There wasn’t a full set of dishes (example:3 bowls for 4 people). No storage Anywhere except the ripped and hanging shoe storage in the closet which we didn’t use. Several areas on the ceiling where people rubbed off the popcorn ceiling. We used the dryer on the last day and lint blew from the top all over me and the bathroom. A neighbor somewhere was smoking marijuana nightly and the smell would come in if we had the air on so we turned the main living area off at night to avoid that. The water turned off at 0930 and our check out was 1000.

This condo is in a great location - you are close to everything in Waikiki, but not quite on the main street, so it's still a little quieter. It was great to have a parking spot (not sure we would have found parking otherwise) - our SUV fit just fine, although getting up to the parking spot was a bit precarious because there are some tight turns in the parking garage. The condo itself was nice - we enjoyed having a washer and dryer in the unit (super helpful!) and all of the kitchen utensils and things were brand new. The AC worked great too (a blessing, since it was super humid outside). The shower in the bathroom was a little dated though (I think I almost pulled my arm out trying to turn on the shower). Also, I slept on the sofa, and while it was alright, it is definitely made for a short person. I am 5'11'' and my feet were hanging off. This didn't negatively affect my experience, just passing on the information since the sizing is not always clear in pictures. In general, we were quite satisfied with our stay and so so glad to have stayed in a condo (i.e. cooking our own food at least part of the time), otherwise we would have spent hundreds of dollars more (because Waikiki=$$$$$$).

This was a great place for my 21 day stay. The washer/dryer combo and parking were great perk. The only real problem was the seating. I actually went to Walmart and bought a $17 camp chair so I could have something more comfortable to sit in. Just beware of that problem.

The unit was as discribe and images was legit. Great unit with all the necessary amenities. Toilet is abit aged but all functioning well. Shower was abit tricky but once you get the hang of it it's all good. Only con would be when u call the management post office hour they do not call u back or check on the issue.
