I would def recommend this place for a family. We had total of 4 adults 1 kid. And enjoyed the clean space, nice balconies,location, abc store on lower level,shaved ice, starbucks and lots of places to eat near by. We used the kitchen and that was great for saving us money! Loved that they haf beach chairs/floaties/boards for use.1 block from beach.10-15min walk to center of waikiki. Would stay here again. Only issue we had is sofa bed didnt work when puller out but daughter fit fine on sofa. Would have been issue if there was 6 of us.

Excellent location, the 8th floor unit has a good outlook. Unit amenities are good. Excellent air conditioner. Warmed toilet seat was unusual. Laundry is separate, located near lift well. Check-in process was very good, met by a representative of Captain Cook Resorts, and the prearrival instruction were very good.A bit of floor clomping up in the 9th floor, but no idea whether that will be transient.Parking available ( though we did not need to get a car given the central location).Close to everything, and is a great place to stay. We enjoyed it there, and I would rate it as a very good option to consider for a stay in Honolulu, bigger than a hotel room, but still close in to the city centre in the hotel precinct.

Apartment was clean and comfortable and in a great location. Views from the balcony were nice and the perfect spot for the Friday fireworks. Check-in and check-out were easy and Paul the property manager was very friendly and responsive. My main concern with the place is that the building does not recycle - seems contrary to the values of Hawaii and protecting this beautiful part of the world.

Love the location, but for the price paid there were few things that were disappointing. Couch and dining chairs were stained, the shower head was moldy, and bathroom had a constant sewerage smell. The aircon in bedroom started leaking water, and soaked clothes and bags. Paul came and fixed it but again, for the price paid for the apt, it was poorly maintained. The dishwasher didn’t wash properly and can see calcification. The lid of coffee maker was broken, one of the sliding privacy windows in second bedroom was stuck and slide it open.

VRBO was kind of dirty. Needed a deep clean. AC in one room needs to be replaced (made chirping sounds). Needed new iron/board and a few more things in the kitchen, including oven mit, rags etc...
Great location, awesome view of city and partial ocean. Short walk to the beach. Great restaurants all around and shopping.

Overall, the property was as described and was pretty convenient to most Waikiki attractions within walking distance to beach, shopping and restaurants. The bathroom needs some attention. The shower handle was loose and almost falling off. The toilet has a bidet conversion seat which emits foul odors when used.. a standard seat would be an improvement. Unit was pretty clean otherwise.

No one checked in with us during our entire stay in Oahu. I emailed Captain Cook after our stay to let you know the dishwasher leaks all over the kitchen floor when you run it , the tap in the shower in the bathroom is about to fall off and the tap in the bathroom sink drips when using. The water drains very slowly in the bathroom sink so it is likely plugged with hair. The frying pans are so cut up we were unable to use them, the toaster only works on one side and the overall cleanliness of this condo was very dirty. We had to put a sheet on the couch as it was filthy and throw our slippers away after the stay. My husband had to clean the grease off the stove hood and range to eliminate the strong grease odor. For the amount we paid for this condo we are were disappointed. Even after I sent an email I did not receive any follow up!!!!

We traveled as a family of 6 2 children 6 and under parents and grandparents. Located in a quiet yet easy accurate to the area. Parking area was very convenient. The unit was very clean and perfect for a small family. What a fantastic lanai to watch the sunset from. Furnishings might be a little worn but that is expected in a used unit. Thank you for the opportunity to stay in your unit.

Great location, very close to beach and shopping. The balcony is very spacious and has a good view of the ocean, green space, and mountains all at once. The Friday night fireworks show is also easily seen. If ever in Hawaii again we would consider staying here again.

The location can't be beat, near the best of everything in Waikiki. Just for that alone, would stay here again. Also balcony views were stunning and the Friday night fireworks were on full display from the comfort of the sofa. The rental itself could've used much better upkeep. The AC unit in the living room was missing a flap that controlled the direction the air blew, so basically can't sit on the sofa or within 10 feet without getting blasted with cold air. Ended up not using it and dealing with the heat. Also the bidet in the bathroom smelled and apparently the cleaners decided it wasn't important to clean the part where the water sprayed out, ended up cleaning ourselves and were pretty grossed out. Also bidet randomly didn't work sometimes. Overall, place is worth staying at and property manager was really nice, but they really could do better about keeping the place in better condition.

Very clean. Loved the beach chairs and cooler that were made available. Although parking is about a block away, it was easy to access and had a lot of spaces available. Would like to have had more items in the kitchen like spices, Saran Wrap, cleaning supplies, etc. View of the ocean from the patio was beautiful! Beds were clean and comfortable. Liked that there was a washing machine and dryer available. Would definitely stay here again!

Centrally located ten minutes walk from the beach, restaurants and shops. Comfy apartment with great vista view over an open park area. Property management was friendly and helpful. Suggested improvements include replacing an unpleasant toilet and providing a large parasol for the west facing balcony. It’s unfortunately unusable in the afternoon with the sun beating down. Lovely sunsets though. These two detractions take away from an otherwise 4 star rating.

Nice condo on waikiki with a big balcony overlooking the Hilton hotels skyline. 4 beach chairs and some boogie boards is available to use. We spend every breakfast here (4 persons) and some evenings. Not the newest appartment but the rooms were all ok! Close to the DeRusso beach but everything within waikiki is within walking distance. Easy to reach Paul for check in and parking for our rental car. Hassle free vacation in Honolulu. We used their recommended $35 airport shuffle service both ways also and it worked well!

We had an amazing time in Waikiki, our family of 5 fit perfectly in this Condo. The view was stunning especially in the night, beach to the left and city view tot he right. Paul was amazing and so helpful too. There is a 3-5 Walking distance to the parking lot but mostly everything was Walking distance so car was not need much. You can park in the front of the building for a few minutes to onload which was convenient. Denny's was one block away so we ate there every morning. Shaved Ice was 1 min away on the same block so I ate that every day. The beach was also about a 5 minute walk, super convenient. Overall this was a convenient location, I highly recommend.

This property couldn’t be more centrally located in Waikiki, just a 5-minute walk to the tourist-packed Waikiki Beach, and just a couple blocks from the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center and Resort (and our preferred local beach, the Royal Moana). The views are terrific from the lanai—we ended up spending most of our time out there when we were in the unit, catching some spectacular sunsets and rainbows.
Every high-end boutique you can think of is within walking distance. This, combined with the quick access to highways that emanate from Honolulu, helped us easily mix travel all over the island with some amazing shopping, and food.
The only strike against this apartment was the noise from a subterranean garage next door. Every time a car left, it sounds an annoying buzzer to alert pedestrians on the sidewalk. Fortunately, that subsides late at night.
Other than that, our stay was great! The check-in process was easy, the manager was friendly, the place was clean, beach gear is provided, and a parking spot a block away made having a rental car easy.

Thank you for opening your property at 255 Beachwalk (Unit #86), Waikiki to us during our stay in Honolulu. We could not have asked for a better location in Waikiki. 2 minutes walk to the beach, convenience store around the corner, plenty of top shopping and dining options within walking distance. Unless you plan to explore Oahu, you will not need a rental vehicle. However, during our stay we noticed several items that suggest the property could be better maintained between guest stays.
1. Kitchen sink and bathroom sink did not drain at proper flow.
2. Shower (hot/cold) knob appears to be on its last legs - needs to be turned very carefully to avoid having it fall/drop.
3. Pots and pans were clearly worn away from use.
4. Main bedroom closet door handles were not secured.
5. Picnic cooler was not cleared out from a prior use (resulting in a gross molding mess accumulating).
In general a very pleasant and relaxing stay, albeit with some minor issues that could be rectified by attention to detail between guest stays.
