Very good location and nice layout with great lanai's. However, the condo needs some maintenance and is becoming a little run down. We have stayed in the condo before and it was fresh and clean, not so much now. Some of the amenities, like kitchen knives and the bedroom TV's were old and worn. Also, all the guest parking spots were filled with residents who store their cars in them; not a problem if you only have one car but we had 2 for the 4 people that stayed here. There was also a roofing project happening on the building next door so cutting, hammering and workmen all day, all week was not enjoyable to hang out in. Yes, I know we were on Maui and should be out enjoying the island, but you can't do that all day, every day. All in all it was about a 2.5 for this unit which is unfortunate because we know how it was a couple of years ago...it just isn't that now.

Loved the layout and size of the unit. For two couples it was perfect having two bedrooms with their own bathrooms. Our unit also had two lanai’s which we made good use of. It had everything we needed for our stay including beach chairs and a beach umbrella (a couple of the beach chairs are in need of replacement). The property is beautifully landscaped and the pools were easy to access and had bbq’s that we used numerous times.
The property management company was great to work with and their customer service was excellent.
A few things to note:
Being right next to the pool is a pro and a con - it was great for access and not so great for noise. As a ground floor unit it was nice not having stairs but you could also hear the people upstairs whenever they were walking around. The location was good with several beaches only a short drive away as well as shopping.
As first time visitors to Maui it was a great place to enjoy the island and experience all that it has to offer.

This was our 10th stay in Maui, second with our children. By far, this was our favorite condo. It was very clean, well-appointed, and carefully thought out. We had an issue with a shower handle on our first night and the management company was quick to respond and mitigate the issue. We’re hoping to be back in two years and double hoping we’ll be able to rent it again.

The condo is exactly as listed; close to the pool and it has everything you’ll need. The only downside, sometimes, is because it’s close to the pool, privacy is limited. Other than that, we had a nice stay.

We had a marvelous experience at Grand Champions #65. The ease of finding the unit and parking space was a great start to a wonderful stay. We were greeted by a very clean and comfortable space with more than enough room for a longer stay. The spacious and comfortable rooms were just what we needed for our 8 day stay in Maui. The unit had everything we needed to make a delicious and home cooked meal. We enjoyed grilled steaks from the pleasant and very clean pool area and enjoyed eating from the lanai as we watched the sunset. All the fun toys, chairs, and beach towels were ready for all day fun in the sun. We especially loved that the pool area was expertly maintained and cleaned each morning (our early risers got to watch the meticulous cleaning each day from the lanai). It was nice to have a quiet, well maintained, and beautiful property to stay in that was away from the busier touristy towns. It was a treat to come home each night to a peaceful place to rest and enjoy what the property had to offer. We will definitely recommend a stay at Grand Champions and hope to visit again soon.

Wonderful place and location -- right near the Wailea shops, resorts, beaches, and golf courses. Short drive into Kihei for great food selections. The unit was well equipped and very clean. The AC units functioned well and kept the unit as cool as we wanted, but since the units are individual room units, they can be a little bit loud. However, it's usually cool enough by evening that only the ceiling fans are needed. Would recommend and return!

We wanted a 2 bdrm w/an ocean view and the nearby pool. We got all that and more! Condo #65 was great! It has a spacious layout with plenty of room for my family (4ppl but could easily fit morel). We loved sitting on the balcony drinking my morning cup of coffee and watching our kids play in the the pool: Heads up...if you are a light sleeper this might not be the unit for you-the pool can be loud and we noticed other people stayed up chattering laughing talking swimming around the pool & jacuzzi til late. The kitchen was very well stocked with pots, pans dishes plate ware etc. There are not a lot of spices for cooking in the cabinets however. We hosted a BBQ for my family of 12 ppl one night and there was plenty of plates & silverware to go around and everybody fit comfortably in the condo and on the balcony dining table. Gas Bbq at the pool worked great and is well lit at nighttime with flood lights overhead. The condo is also well stocked with beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, beach bag, towels, even sand toys for the little ones. Access to unit 65 is on the ground level so no need to carry your bags upstairs, but you feel like you are on the 2nd floor because of the balconies overlooking the golf course and pool. Parking spot is right in front of the condo. Laundry machines worked great.

My family and I had a great stay at this condo! Here are the things that I appreciated and loved about the condo:
-hand soap in the kitchen and bathrooms (I dislike bar hand soap and this condo had liquid hand soap)
-kitchen fully equipped with what we needed
-beach equipment! Love when condos have beach chairs and an umbrella
-minimal decor (attracts less dust and is good for those who have allergies)
-very clean
-lanai furniture on both lanais were nice
-laundry basket (helped so much with laundry)
-beautiful view
-peaceful even though the unit is so close to the pool
-overall look and feel to the condo was welcoming

We loved our time in GC 65. The second deck overlooking the pool was amazing and is where we spent all our time while at the condo. There were plenty of beach toys and chairs for our use and kitchen was very well equipped. BBQ is right next door as well as the pool. I would recommend and would consider returning again next year.

Such a pleasant stay at this condo. It came with everything described and more (some left over accessories from previous vacationers). We were able to relax comfortably, cooked meals, and swim. Neighbors were also nice and quiet. We were near the shopping center so we were able to take our leisure stroll to get coffee and walk along the beach.

My friends and I absolutely love this place. It had everything we needed to be comfortable. Everything was clean and they had two awesome balcony to relax on. The washer was a little difficult to find, but works well. They had lots of beach equipment such as beach chairs, towels, boogie boards and even a beach tent! The area is nice, clean and close to many shopping centers and good restaurants. It is centered so that you can easily visit the west and east side of the island. I would recommend this place to anyone who visit Maui.

Attended a business meeting at the Fairmont and wanted the privacy and space of a condo nearby. Great experience with full kitchen that saved the expense and inconvenience of always eating out during the Covid restriction time! Nice to have the convenience of home and proximity to the Shops at Wailea and stores in Kihei. For bulk needs Costco is by the airport.
The condo was comfortable, clean and functioned well for our needs!

This was an incredible place! 2 patios - one attached to the master and one off the LR; reserved parking right in front; ground floor; could look out on pool from both patios to call the kids in to dinner. We also appreciated the extras - spices; beach chairs; cooler and boogie boards. The bathrooms and bedrooms were spacious and well decorated. Thanks for a great stay!

This resort is truly a gem and a 5 star all around. This unit was very spacious and fit our family of 6 very comfortably. We had two lanai's one overlooking the golf course and one overlooking the pool.
