Comfortable stay at Lori & Gregās property. Great location steps from beach. We had a rental vehicle so was easy to get to other beaches and groceries. There is a bus stop near buy. The hot tub/jacuzzi is no longer there but minor. Great communication from hosts, condo community very welcoming both other visitors and long term residents.property grounds cared for. Would definitely rebook if coming back to area.

The property was clean, simple, nice -but not so much that I was afraid my kids were going to mess it up. An easy walk to the beach and great sushi right next door. The location is close enough to the kiehi strip to be convenient but far enough away to avoid traffic.my only complaint was that the hot tub was filled in/ clearly a while ago-disappointed the pictures still showed this feature. ttraffic

The location of this property couldnāt be better! Access to the beach was incredibly convenient. Staff and neighbors were all very friendly. The hot tub was under construction and that detail had been left out of the listing. After brining that and a few other snags to Loriās attention she immediately offered to rectify the situation, insuring we had a pleasant stay. I would highly recommended this property!

Now that I am home and have settled in a little, I want to sit down and give you an honest review.
Booked in January and It was listed as a 3 bedroom, but that was counting the pull out couch in the living room.
We have been coming to Maui for 8 years. The place itself was nice. Good location right across the beach, the unit was ok (especially if you don't mind loads of tacky home decor).
The location in N Kihei allowed us to easily travel to other parts of the island and really appreciate that there were beach towels, chairs, and more.
The condo is a bit outdated and in need of updates and the beds were terribly uncomfortable.
Then another surprise - the AC had large restrictions. Imagine how hot it gets after a 90F degree day. No AC units in the bedrooms, so we were left with just one AC in the living room for 7 nights.
The condo did not have any trash bags for us. We did have to buy extra garbage bags and broom.
ļ»æļ»æļ»æHouse Rules posted on the fridge were off-putting, particularly the potential extra charges for power usage. We adhered to the house rules, including running the washer and dishwasher before checking out, but these additional charges and housekeeping duties were unexpected (we paid a cleaning fee, stay tax and host fee when booking.) Definitely over priced.
Overall, a satisfactory experience, but we are not likely to return.

Our stay was nice overall, but my family and I have some suggestions for improvement:
1. *House Supplies*: With three people staying for nine nights, we found the initial supplies (one paper towel roll, three toilet paper rolls, three trash bags, a small tube of shower gel) insufficient. We ran out after a few days and had to purchase our own.
2. *Cleanliness*: One set of bed sheets seemed unwashed, and we encountered bugs in the kitchen cabinets and kitchen floor (food was stored properly), as well as in the bathroom . We understand bugs are common on the island, but this was excessive for indoors.
3. *Appliances*: One of the toasters didn't work, though we found a backup in a lower cabinet, which helped.
4. *House Rules*: The rules posted on the fridge were off-putting, particularly the potential extra charges for power usage. We adhered to the house rules, including running the washer and dishwasher before checking out, but these additional charges and housekeeping duties were unexpected (we paid a cleaning fee, stay tax and host fee when booking).
We have contacted the owner in a private message upon check out to address the issues. While we appreciated the response to our concerns, we felt that the explanations provided were more excuses than solutions, and responsibility for the issues wasn't fully acknowledged.
While these issues didn't majorly impact our stay, addressing them could enhance the experience for future guests.

We loved the small size of the complex closer to the residential area. It was quiet and the pool was never over crowded. The ocean is just steps away. The beach equipment provided was in excellent condition, as were the communal grills. We also appreciated labels on the light switches to not have to hunt for what is what. Owner was quick to respond to questions. Unit is also close to assigned parking spot making easy loading/unloading.

It's a nice condo, nice pool and the beach right across the street.
The only thing was we wish we knew beforehand it was at the far end of Kihei, so nothing was within walking distance. But Kihei was nice, with some nice restaurants and stores.

Location, location, location!! Steps away from a beautiful beach and all the beach gear a family could want/need (beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkels, boogie boards, cooler, towels). A nice pool area with hot tub and bbq grills as well. The place is perfect for a family or group of up to 6, it does only have 1 bathroom so you have to be strategic about thatā¦ but there is a bathroom next to the pool if you needed a back up. The kitchen has all the needed cooking supplies, & living room couches are comfortable. The a/c works but we didnāt need it often- open the bedroom windows & lanai door and turn on all the fansā the air flow works great to cool the place down! Within a 5-15min drive you can get to so many fun beaches too- our faves- Polo beach (body surfing & boogie boarding), Ulua beach, & Maluaka beach (calm east waves & snorkeling)ā¦ we saw turtles an every beach it was amazing!! And there are so many delicious spots to eat- our faves: Paia Fish market, Kihei Caffe, Naluās, Da Kitchen, Wow wow Lemonade (aƧaĆ bowls), Ululaniās shaved ice. We also drove out for some amazing hikes all around the island- such an endless amount of diverse beauty here in Maui!! Overall this was such a great place to come home to after each day of adventures, would totally stay here again!

We absolutely loved staying at Greg and Lori's place in Kihei. They had everything you need and more available. Greg was extremely helpful with finding some.of the best beaches and restaurants for our family for our vacation. The pool made a great place for us to relax at night after exploring all day. We loved being able to see the sea turtles nearby in the morning and definitely visited the bakery down the road. We would highly recommend this spacious condo, especially for families.

We felt bedrooms got a little warm compared to what were used to in Minnesota. They had fans to move air from the family room where the air conditioner was so it wasn't too hot sleeping. Overall it was a nice place to stay in Maui. Thank you for having us!

Our condo had a remodeled kitchen that was very nice. It also had everything you would need to cook for a family. The best thing was the number of chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards available. It also had a nice screen door for a nice breeze in the evening. This is an older condo complex so it a little dated and needs some maintenance. The reason I mention this is we chose this location for the hot tub and the BBQ. While the hot tub was hot the jets didnāt work and the gas grills didnāt work until the last day of our trip and we where there 8 nights. The property manager was easy to contact and responded right away. She contacted the maintenance person for the condo with the hot tub and grill issues. Before booking I would just check that those issues have been resolved if you want to use those amenities. We still had a great time!!

Was a GREAT trip, everything went super smoothly with the property. Right across from a beach, walked down and got coffee a mile down the beach was a dream (Sugar Beach Bake Shop). Was great being central on the Island. I will say, it is in a more residential area. But its location allows you to literally go to the beach on the south shore close to Wailea (and the shops) in about 15 min. Lahina and all those beautiful beach less than 25 minutes. My point is we were able to easily explore the entire Island, super conveniently!
The host were amazing, I dont even know what time the host live in, but whenever we messaged them (before and during the trip) they were super responsive, and very accommodating. They also have a great property manager there (shout out Paul) who is super nice and helpful.
All in all a great trip, and we would love to visit again some day!

We stayed at Kihei Holiday for 8 nights and enjoyed every single day and night in Maui! The condo was perfect for us (family of four with young kids). We appreciated the beach supplies (chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, cooler) and the washing/drying machines the most! It was also really nice to have an actual kitchen for breakfast and some supper meals. The condo has all the supplies one might need for a vacation. We loved being centrally located on Maui - we could go north or south in equal distances (or just stay put!) and quickly be on a new beach every single day. I would absolutely book here again. Rented back in November for January visit. Asked to check in early as we had an early flight. Can't...had a guest checking out same day. No problem, I get it.
Arrive to check in at 4pm per agreement. Something seems wrong. Snorkel gear on floor. Couch cushion upturned, garbage bags on both beds along with used towels. Low toilet paper & when I looked in the toilet, there was a dark film around the edges of the water and a gross black something with what looks like a tail floating in the toilet. Inside fridge not cleaned and dishes left in dishwasher.
Call Greg and leave voice mail. Calls me back right away. Text him pictures of everything. His 'what is that' text I assume is about the thing floating in toilet. Says he also wouldn't be happy if it were him especially with something bad with toilet. Says cleaning people 'dropped the ball.' Do we want to wait til tomorrow or have them come today. TODAY! Says this has never happened in 3 years of renting. Maybe he was surprised but he finally actually apologies towards the end of the conversation. OK.
Place isn't suitable for my family at this point so we go to the beach so the kids can play. I text him that I know he didn't want this to happen either, I am sure he will make it right and text me when they finish cleaning.
After 1.5 hours, we are hungry. Come back to get stuff so we can go out. Cleaners are there. Very friendly. Say this place wasn't on their schedule and they cleaned another unit already today at property. Who knows who 'dropped the ball'? Greg or them?
Out to eat. Greg texts cleaners finished around 3 hours after advertized check in time. Dishes still in dishwasher.
Caring=doing/action. Greg never follows up on this impactful issue. No, sorry again, how did cleaners do? Nada. Greg helps us find the snorkel gear and an Iron when WE ask.
Maybe try waiving the cleaning charge for not meeting advertized check in or follow up? Messaged him one more time about restitution for the place not being ready as advertised and waited 4 days. Nothing.
This was a short 5 star review that became a 2 because Greg didn't follow up and charged full price when he didn't deliver on time as promised. Doesn't seem to get/feel/care impact on a family vacation.
Honestly, if you are looking to book here and things go as planned, you will probably have a nice stay. If something unexpected happens and Greg has to help, I expect he'll do the minimum so he can collect, but don't expect much else.

We found this place looking for somewhere close to Kalepolepo Beach since we were bringing 2 toddlers with us. This place was clean and Greg and Lori did a great job of communicating. There is a washer/dryer inside the condo as well which is really amazing. There is a crosswalk at this location to bring you right to the beach. It is also a few miles from the shopping areas in Kihei so you separate from the crowds. The place is quiet and comes with everything you would need for a stay in Kihei. Lots of beach toys, games for inside, and a place to relax/lounge outside. Has access to a hot tub and pool as well which were both clean. I would work with them again. Great place!

We had a great stay in Maui, and this was the perfect nest for our family. This condo is perfectly located (the beach is right across the street and Wailea is just a short drive away), and the 1st floor location was actually an asset as we could enjoy the garden from the deck. The condo had everything we needed for a week, and the breeze from the rooms to the living room means you don't need the AC (though there's a unit for those who really want it). The location of this property is perfect. The beach was right across the street and the owner provided so much gear. This condo is in a great location, has all the amenities, plus the little things that really add up. Having a cooler and beach chairs everyday made our day trips so much smoother and cheaper. And the snorkel gear was a real plus as well. We were extremely comfortable in this rental and the space it provided. The auto door lock was very convenient.
The only complaints I can come up with is the laundry seems to take a long time to run a load, there could be some more silverware since there is the convenience of a dishwasher, and we did get a couple bug bites in the house.

This condo is located just across the road from the beach, easy walk to a beautiful sunset. You will need a car as Kihei is spread out. The location is close to Sugar Beach for body surfing and an easy drive to excursions. I especially appreciated all the "beach equipment" from snorkels to beach chairs.

What a wonderful condo/location to stay! Inside, it has everything you need, ladies donāt pack your hair electronics, thereās a blow dryer and curling iron. Plenty of kitchen items, towels, etc. for our group of 5. Best was all the ocean gear. Plenty of chairs, boogie boards, ice chest, & snorkel masks for our beach trips. We really appreciated that. And if the beach right across the street wasnāt amazing enough, The pool and jacuzzi were close for a dip or just relaxing after the day. Both were very clean and there was a shower and restrooms. Our hosts Lori and Greg communicated well and we knew if there were any questions, they would answer quickly. We will definitely be back.

We booked the property for 1 1/2 weeks but only stayed one night. The mattresses are terrible, the property is very hot, the a/c was inadequate/non-operational, one ceiling fan did not work at all (no electricity to it) and the ceiling fan in the bedroom made a very loud noise that was impossible to sleep through. Bedding was inadequate for three beds. Originally, the owner agreed to work with me when I expressed my concerns, but then he ignored my questions about a refund or notice for departure cleaning, etc. We had to hotel hop during the trip because I couldnāt find an opening for the entire duration, nonetheless we had a lovely time in Maui after leaving this property. We completed all of the required departure procedures, even through we only stayed one night. The owner is still fighting with me about the stay and not honoring his statement that he would work with me. Lousy place and dishonest owner.

Let me start by saying this condo for filled our needs. I do recommend it. It is sufficient for a vacation of enjoying Maui. If you plan to staying in a lot maybe find a place in a higher price range. Most of the issues didnāt affect us as in the slow WiFi and basic cable package. My only complaint is the A/C was not sufficient for the really hot nights. That ask that you donāt leave it running all day so when you close everything for bed it doesnāt really get it cools off for a few hours. Through out the day the breeze from the wind and slider open was nice. We tried not the spend too much time there as we only had a week there. Wanted to see all the island had to offer. Overall an enjoyable stay

The condo was very clean! We were worried coming to the tropics about unwanted ācricketsā in the apartment, but the apartment had none of those! It was also well equipped in whatever we needed for the stay.
The location was convenient, close to the beach.
The complex itself is not new, could use some sprucing up, but we did not spend much time there anyway, since there are so many things to see and do in Maui.
If you are looking for a high end finishes this is not a place for you. However, if you come to Maui and need a piece of mind that you will stay in a clean and safe place - this apartment will be great for you!

It was excellent for family of five, maybe just one more sleeping bed or more comfortable one than the couch, but we were so exhausted from playing all day we still slept good. Excellent location and had toys for kids and beach chairs, snorkeling gear you could use right across the street. Thanks š

The condo is pleasant and clean and well stocked with everything we needed including swim toys, beach umbrellas, beach towels, ice chest, good kitchen knives and pans, kids games, and books on Maui. We hardly had to use the air conditioner as there was good airflow through the condo. Location was great giving us a choice of several close beaches. Pool and hot tub were also nice.

We had the BEST time and Greg and Lori were the perfect hosts. The place was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect and close to everything! The beach toys were the best part! We had everything we needed to snorkel, boogie board and play in the sand. We didn't need to rent a thing. There were even beach chairs and umbrellas! By the way, snorkel Honolua Bay...it was magical! For the best boogie boarding go to Kamaole Beach III just down the road.
We loved having the washer and dryer as well and laundry detergent was provided! The bathroom and kitchen were super clean which was a big deal for me!
We loved the visits from the Myna birds, chickens, zebra doves and red crested cardinals each morning. (Get the app "seek" to identify all the cool new plants, animals and insects you see)
Greg and Lori were super responsive and immediately replied to any questions I had. They made us feel so welcome even from afar. We'd rent from them again in a heartbeat!

Convenient location in north Kehei. Short drive to the main area of town, the Maui Brewing Company, and easy access to main roads to drive to points north. The owners provided some nice amenities such as beach chairs and towels, and a well stocked kitchen. Not luxurious, but a great value.

The property was nice and maintained well. It was just across the street to access the beach and proximity to airport was optimal; can also easily connect to other places. The owners were very responsive and responded immediately to any questions asked.
Only disappointment was the unit number was not shared with us for checking in and we had to figure out at 10pm for more than an hour to get into the condo. After a long tiresome flight and with a kid, I was getting worried but luckily for us, there were few friendly neighbors who helped to connect with the manager.
The whole stay was very pleasant (except for the minor glitch due to the unit details not being shared by the HomeAway app).
