This place is a great family place with great views. All 3 king beds are so comfy, our kids didn’t want to leave because of the beds haha! When we were home, they spent their time chasing lizards and geckos all over outside. September is very warm, so we didn’t spend much time enjoying the upstairs patio. But it is beautiful. We also loved all the beach supplies provided to us. That was fantastic for a family with kids. Our only complaint would be that the pool seems to not be super kid friendly and has a ton of rules, we did not want to disrupt the neighborhood with all of our 4 kids being too loud. But nevertheless, we did not go to Kauai to swim in a swimming pool. We came to see the beaches and snorkel, and it was everything and more! Thanks for the amazing stay!

Great VRBO home and location! The house had more supplies and kitchen stuff than was listed on the site. Things like oscillating fans came in very handy. Quiet neighborhood with good views for the mountains. We spent a lot of time on the lanai and enjoyed our time there. They also had beach chairs and umbrellas which we really appreciated not having to rent. Last people who used them left food trash and bottles in the chair pockets which wasn’t very respectful to the owners. We took care of it. Several beaches within walking distance, like Hideaway beach, the beach by the resort on Hanalei Bay and short walking distance to Queens bath which was cool to swim and jump in from surrounding rocks. All in all very happy with this house and our stay there.

This property is awesome for a family. Upstairs master is separate from two bedrooms/bath on the main level. The lanai off the master area is beyond perfect, views are amazing, we enjoyed it daily.Reason for 4 stars - A truck appeared in the garage towards the end of our stay, while we were away. We felt very uneasy that if someone entered the garage that they could've easily entered the house without our knowledge. Were our belongings went through? - we'll never know. This situation is not okay. We called the emergency number and were told by the property manager that the owner lets a friend use their truck and they are supposed to return it while renters aren't booked. Well, we were still booked. We were not made aware of this, and were therefore taken by surprise. The master bath shower could also use an update, but that wasn't the main issue.Love Princeville and the neighborhood!

Upstairs patio was a wonderful place for us all to hang out at the beginning and end of every day. Amazing sunsets and peekaboo view of the ocean. Pool is very close but does not allow kids who are in swim diapers and was a bit run down. House was in fair condition and was clean. Step up between living and dining area not ideal for little kids. Overall great location. Owner left his truck in garage which was kind of a pain: and creeped us out the first night.

Comfort abounds in this beautiful home, from the Lanai to the King beds. The house made for the the most relaxing vacation we've ever had. The views from the lanai were full of waterfalls and rainbows.The house was well equiped in every sense, including beach toys, chairs, beach towels, board game and books. And bicycle can be rented by phone and delivered to your door if reservations are made by 5 pm the night before.Only critic is although the BBQ is listed as an amenitie, don't expect to be able to use it. The grills were corroded with rust that needed a professional cleaning or replacement. But definiately not a deal breaker. We would love to make this our home away from home on the next trip to Kauai.

This house was beautiful. We loved the peacefulness of Princeville. The views from the lanai were spectacular and never grew old. Our second night we encountered a power outage that was throughout the island. We were able to locate candles and flashlights as we waited for the power to come back on. The tennis/pickle ball courts and pool were right next door to the house. We utilized Foodland for most of our groceries and the kitchen provided all the amenities that we needed to prepare meals. We were able to complete several excursions that were planned ahead of time: Makana Na’Pali Coast boat tour, Smith Family Luau, Lighthouse visit, Surfing lessons and Waimea Canyon. Princeville is a ride to most excursions and there was road construction that took additional time. We found the beaches a bit challenging locally to access parking, but did well in nearby Hanalei. It took some getting used to not having AC, but I knew this when I booked. Overall- a perfect family vacation that exceeded all of our expectations! Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in such a beautiful home! ❤️

The house and location were perfect for us, as we had teenagers downstairs and adults upstairs. The upstairs master is huge, quiet, and cool. Although the weather was warm, we could always find a cool spot to hang out, on the lanai in the morning or at sunset, and downstairs in the afternoons. Also, we loved the short walk to the public stairs that takes you to the beautiful Puu Poe beach. The pool and tennis/pickleball court are steps away and we used both frequently. Great stay, we would love to come back. Thank you!

Recently my wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the beautiful, Ramatici Ohana Hale vacation home in Princeville/Hanalei, and I must say, it was an incredible experience. The home itself was very comfortable and well appointed, with two large rooms downstairs and a shared full bath. The primary room was on the second floor adjacent to a very large covered deck. This is where we spent most of our time taking in the views of Hanalei Bay or watching the magnificent sunsets. The location of the property was perfect. Located in a small enclave of similar well maintained homes, the Ohana Hale property providing convenient access to everything we needed.First and foremost, the surrounding amenities were exceptional. We were just a short distance away from shopping centers, where we could easily find anything we needed. Whether it was groceries, souvenirs, or other essentials, we were able to find everything without any hassle. Additionally, the variety of dining options in the area was impressive. We indulged in some delicious local cuisine and had the opportunity to try different restaurants every night. The proximity to the beaches was another highlight. We had the luxury of visiting multiple stunning beaches in the area, and each one was more breathtaking than the last. The convenience of having access to these beautiful beaches made our stay even more enjoyable.Furthermore, the accessibility to other resorts in the area was a major plus. We were able to explore and experience different resorts nearby, taking advantage of their amenities and activities. It added a sense of adventure and allowed us to make the most of our time in Princeville/Hanalei.Overall, I cannot recommend this vacation home enough. The location was unbeatable, with a wide range of amenities, easy access to shopping and dining, and proximity to stunning beaches and other resorts. It truly made our stay unforgettable.

Loved this house, perfect for our family of 4. If you are looking to stay on the North side of the island, Princeville is a great place. Very quiet compared to the typical resorts on the island. The house is beautiful; very spacious, great kitchen with everything one would need for cooking in (if that's your plan). Great heated pool right next door and AMAZING views from the top floor. Would 100% stay here again!

The villa is large, well equipped, comfortable in a quiet area of Princeville, ideally placed to visit the island of Kauai, especially the north.
Hanalei beach and shops are not far away. We had a great stay taking advantage of the very pleasant shared swimming pool.

First off, we absolutely love working with Lucy and her team at Kauai Vacation Rentals and have been doing so for nearly a decade. We lived on island for some time and this home is in our favorite part of Princeville, so to have an affordable option to experience this space with incredible views, comfortable beds, and a well equipped home could not be better. 3 king beds allows a family to spread out or travel with other couples with ample room to spread out. Easy walk to Happy Talk Lounge and the beach below (Puu Poa), Hideaways, and the back door entrance into Princeville to avoid traffic. So quiet and the surrounding homes make you feel like you are staying in a botanical garden. Sunsets from the lanai are stunning as are watching the waterfalls, rainbows, and sunrise colors on the mountains. Could not have asked for a better stay. Thank you Lucy!

Renting with Kauai Vacation Rentals was great, they were very accommodating to my multi-family group that included children, toddlers, and infants. The home was great, in a perfect location. It was great to be able to use the pool/beach equipment, rather than renting or buying for the short trip.

The location is superb, with great space and layout of the home. Pool amenities within steps of the house. My only complaint would be the heat and lack of AC but they do provide ample amounts of fans. Some maintenance is needed around the home, side lanai sliding door doesn't lock, etc however overall we loved our stay here and would definitely book again. You cannot beat those sunsets from the lanai. Just magical.

It was designed to be our relaxing, no stress babymoon. We had a wonderful wonderful time in Kauai. We drove from one end of the island to the other going as far as the roads would allow. We lost count of the beaches that we visited. We found our favorites and went back over and over. Met wonderful people and had a lot of laughs. Each day returning home to Janets beautiful home. We are very appreciative of our time there.

We loved the neighborhood and the ease of walking/riding bikes everywhere. The house is spacious and warm, with lots of light. The upstairs Master suite and lanai are a DREAM! We watched the sunset overlooking Hanalei every night. The sounds of the ocean and the birds are a delight. All needed items are there for use; we enjoyed being close to the community pool and tennis courts too. Ramatici Ohana Hale is clean, well located on a private circle, and positively perfect in every way!

Loved the open space of the home.
The home has all the amenities we needed. It was nice to have fans, Grill, laundry and loved having a pool next door.
The upstairs lanai was amazing!

Our family of six adults enjoyed this home. It is spacious and the views are stunning. A few things to note: The master bedroom is hot at night. We used four fans and it was still quite warm. Only two devices are allowed on the internet at one time. The kitchen isn’t stocked with basics, so you’ll need to buy salt and pepper. We appreciated the laundry room and big kitchen.
Overall we had a lovely time here.

We just got home from 12 days in Kauai and this house was perfect for our family getaway. In the house we had my family of four and my in-laws and there was plenty of space for all of us. There was a big dining room table that sat six for when we had meals at home and a nice patio which could have sat 10 if needed. We used the BBQ in the backyard multiple times and our kids really enjoyed playing in the backyard. This house is a quick drive from multiple beaches, restaurants a playground and the grocery store. We walked to a few different restaurants from the house which was really nice as well. The only minor complaint I have is the downstairs living room has a set of tiled stairs that lead into the dining room and my 8 month old loved playing on those stairs so he constantly had to be monitored in the living area. But if you aren't traveling with a baby this wouldn't be a concern at all.
