Excellent location! It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The location was perfect, close to Blackrock for snorkeling, family friendly beach Napili Bay, restaurants, and shopping. The resort was well-maintained, and the check-in process was easy. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We’ve been staring at Honua Kai for 13 years and it needs to be maintained better- the elevators are always broken- literally every time we are there (1-2x a year). And there’s about 1/2 the pool chairs there use to be- it’s so unpleasant to have to scrounge for a pool chair. Outrigger needs to do better. It’s such a great property and sad to see it going downhill.

Sadly we had to depart! Unit is great, spacious kitchen that is fully equipped. Large bedrooms and beautiful Mountain View’s. The resort is right on the beach. Nice pools, and Dukes on-site is a bonus!

We stayed at the Hokulani for a week at the end of October beginning of Nov. The rooms and bathrooms were great, beds comfortable. It was very clean. They had many kitchen tools however we didn’t cook there. The patio was nice. We used the beach and facilities which were one of the nicest we visited and so convenient. The room has chairs, umbrella and cooler which came in handy! And the resort offers beach towels. Close to Whalers Village which was nice and could walk across the street for coffee and the Times Market. We would stay there again for sure!

We had a very good time at Honua Kai. Our unit was clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, and the washer/dryer are a plus. The pools are great and the beach is beautiful, good for snorkeling but not so much for swimming. The boardwalk was a nice treat and we enjoyed being able to go on family walks after dinner. The resort is located near (walking distance) to a grocery store, food truck park and has a convenience/gift shop with a lot of useful items. Staff was always friendly and polite.

The resort is nice, restaurant on site is nice. No chance in getting a lounge chair by the pool unless you camp out at 7:30am. No water pressure(couldn't even shower) one morning that we had breakfast reservations, notified KBM, no response. Heard it was an issue for quite a few units that morning. We enjoyed ourselves, but some definite frustrations.

We had the best time! The property is amazing-clean, a small market is available at the resort, and the condo was perfect! It’s spacious and had everything we needed for an amazing week in paradise. The beach was a little rough at times, so we didn’t spend much time in it with our kids (2 and 4). The kids loved the pools and we spent most of our mornings lounging and swimming. No complaints!

Booking, communicating, check in was prompt and smooth. The condo had all that we needed - kitchen ware, 3 large bathrooms with plenty of towels and a w/d. Also plenty of seating in living and dining areas. We loved the lanai and had the perfect seat for nightly sunsets. Bonus: beach towels included along with beach chairs and lots of quality boogie boards. The grounds are pretty, staff is friendly and the location is close to several beaches, restaurants and shopping. Easy to get in and out with underground parking. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to return. One con: condo is right above a pool which leaves any quiet moments on the lanai to very early mornings or very late nights, however; it wasn’t ever overly loud. (We heard no noise from the pool when the lanai doors were closed.) Condo was clean, well kept, and had all the amenities we needed. Not a lot of kitchen necessities at this property. With Covid we did a lot of cooking at home. No potholders, crappy pot and pan selection. Not a lot of platters, large bowls. No aluminum foil, baggies...etc. wasted a lot of money buying what we needed. Stayed at other properties there and they were stocked much better. Also property was a little old. Dirty drapes in bedrooms.

We loved our week in Maui, and this beautiful condo was fantastic! The kitchen is gourmet with everything you could possibly need to prepare a wonderful meal. The decor is beautiful and the furniture is very comfortable. We shared the condo with 2 other couples and there was more than enough space for everyone! The bedrooms and bathrooms are very spacious and private. Not to mention, our bed was one of the MOST comfortable beds I have ever slept on! Truly, i wanted to take the mattress home with me!
We started each day with coffee on the balcony and ended with cocktails. The views are outstanding! We saw so many whales and beautiful sunsets. Each morning, we loved walking on the boardwalk that runs along the water and golf course. It was a nice way to get some exercise and take in the beautiful sites!
The condo is fully equipped with beach gear (chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear, boogie boards, coolers, etc.) and the beach is an easy walk. It was great not having to rent all that gear. We spent many afternoons on the beach watching the kite boards and whales! Beautiful!
We did a little hiking, golfing and sightseeing, but mainly we relaxed at the beach and the pools. The pool area, by the way, is huge with plenty of chairs and shade. There are several golf courses nearby with great rental clubs. We walked around Lahaina, which was very cute for some shopping and an ice cream cone!
I can't think of one thing that would make this condo better than it already is. The owners have thought of everything! Best rental ever! I would highly recommend!
