This spacious 620 sq. ft. one bed villa is located on the south side of the main Hokulani Tower. From this second floor villa you are steps from the elevator leading to the epic pool slide, three heated pools, and the award winning Duke's Restaurant.

We will definitely rent through KBM again! The booking process was smooth and it was truly the best deal out there for a place in Maui! Our flight arrival was late but KBM sent emails and voicemails to explain what we needed to do in a late arrival. They eased my mind that we would have nothing to worry about when we arrived. The condo was clean and a perfect size for the three of us. When we had a last minute request, KBM had someone bring what we needed the next day. I loved the resort and cannot wait to return!

The one bedroom condo we rented was very spacious. The appliance were great loved having the washer & dryer. They were all easy to operate. It was great having a restaurant on the property. It was great that beach chairs, umbrella, ice chest & beach towels were included with the condo. Check-in went very smoothly. We had a great time and would recommend KBM Resorts for there great customer service.

From the moment of booking, I must say this was the most pleasant experience my wife and I have had in a long time. All questions we had about the vacation were answered by KBM in the emails/links provided(very thorough!). Arriving very late to Maui, a representative of KBM called us. We met at our accommodations for a tour and to answer all of our questions. The unit was very very nice(even had all the beach equipment we needed for our stay!) and as described on KBM's website. The resort was beautiful- lots of pools, BBQs and sitting areas. We would definitely book at this resort again using KBM. A very enjoyable experience from start to finish!

KBM was incredibly rude and unaccommodating every step of the way and they don’t maintain this condo well. The condo itself has a great layout and could be very nice if KBM managed it properly. First of all, it was not clean (hair in the bathroom, dirty kitchen floor, laundry closet filthy, sofa had stains and dried-on food, one of the two kitchen pendants over the bar was burned out, light switches didn’t work in the bedroom, two other light bulbs were burned out, bed was made very sloppily, none of the clocks were set to the correct time. KBM would not allow us to check in 30 min early and were very rude when we asked. They acted like they were doing us a big favor by renting to us. The instructions they provided for arrival and departure were unnecessarily complicated and confusing. I was honestly amazed by their rudeness and their poor management of a condo that could be beautiful. The unit is very loud inside because of the hallway with kids running down the hall and screaming. Overall I would say Honua Kai is not a good choice unless you are traveling with young children. We moved over to the Mahana next door and it was paradise compared to Honua Kai. I hesitate to give this negative review because the issues were not the fault of the owner but rather KBM but decided it might help the owner to know this.
