The location was amazing! Condo was good for a home base. Kitchen was lacking in things you’d need to cook a meal and a broom on site would be nice to have. There wasn’t a futon or pullout couch. And there was no grill on site. The drive lane in and out of the building was very tricky. If we would have had a bigger car I don’t know if we would have gotten it out without hitting the wall! The master bed was very comfy! AC worked great! Kids enjoyed the pool. Bill and Janet were great to work with. And they called to check on us during the tsunami!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean and the beds were comfortable. The view on the balcony is beautiful. It was fun to see the paddle boarders in the morning and later the surf lessons. Great location. You can walk everywhere.

We loved watching the surfers and canoe riders every morning from the lanai. Every day we drove 10 mins or less to visit a different beach, location was good for that or walking 3 mins to South Maui Gardens for food and entertainment

The condo was clean but not what we expected. The couch didn't pull out or a futon and the stairs to go up to the loft where very steep. Check in was a disaster waited an hour to get a hold of the owner so we could get inside. Had to call vrbo to finally get the owner to answer. Also i am not sure they change the code to the condo for every new client that is a big security issue. It was small spot but lucky it was in such a beautiful location. The space was clean and everything worked well.

We needed a comfortable place for our family of 4 where we could SUP and surf every day.
We needed air conditioning- just in case the cross breeze wasn’t happening, a view of the ocean
and the ability to walk to restaurants and ice cream at night.

First off, we found the condo exactly as advertised and stocked with most all necessities. We enjoyed going to sleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean. We slept with the windows open to let the breeze cool the condo. There was a bit of road noise until about 9-10pm, but after that it was pretty quiet. Surprisingly, locals started to arrive at the beach about 30 minutes before daylight. They were not loud and gave us something to watch as we drank our coffee on the lanai. As they day progressed many people used the beach access directly across the road. Great people watching!
We used the boogie boards, umbrella, and beach chairs, along with both coolers provided! It was nice to have these items to use during our stay!
Kitchen is adequate, with plenty of pots and pans, but lacks spices aside from salt and pepper. If you plan to cook something, especially seafood, you might need more seasonings.
The loft was as exactly as described and perfect for our 4 and 7 year olds. Would not recommend for kids younger than 4 as the ship ladder is steep!
A very short walk to food and shopping. Major grocery stores are a couple miles away, but not an issue if you plan ahead.
Overall, the condo was awesome and I will without question book again when we get the opportunity to travel to Maui again!

The condo is as advertised. It took me a couple of tries to open the lockbox and unlock the front door using the keypad; but, all-in-all, checking in was pretty simple.
The condo was very clean and comfortable. Everything was in good working order. The condo provides excellent views and is in a great location. We didn't really need to use the AC much. The cross breeze and ceiling fans kept the condo comfortable. My 18-year old son enjoyed the loft. We appreciated the beach chairs, beach towels, and coolers.
This condo is a very good value. I would recommend it to my family and friends, and I would absolutely stay here again.

The view is amazing - great sunsets! Being next door to the surf school was as good as it gets for how we like to spend our time in Maui - paddle boarding and in the water. The location in Kihei was also perfect for the restaurants we like to frequent. Bill and Janet were helpful and immediately responsive to questions when they came up. The condo was as advertised. Has a great view across the street of the beach. I was initially worried about crossing the street but cars stop to let you across, we didn’t have any problems. Coolers and beach items came in handy as we explored. Kids loved sleeping in the loft!

Pros:
The value is the condo is rated appropriately. The location is great. The owner is very nice and responsive. Fun to watch people at the park and playing in the water. Easily walkable too great eating/drinking/beginner surfing spots (although I would personally recommend a vehicle to explore more of Kihei/Maui). A/C in both living room and bedroom. The loft was very neat and our 16yr old daughter loved it. The complex didn’t feel sketchy at all. Beds were comfy, nice shower. Nice kitchen.
Cons:
The road noise is tolerable but a bummer. The bedroom a/c broke, which was lame because that’s one of the reasons we picked this place, but I understand that kinda thing happens and the owner shouldn’t be dinged for it. He said they can replace it in a couple days. He gave good tips to cool the room down which helped because at 86° outside, it was about 78° in the bedroom. We felt safe here, however I would highly recommend upgrading the front door lock to a wifi capable deadbolt style (the one now is not a deadbolt). A digital lock where the owner can change the code remotely for each tenant. The steel screen door however does have a deadbolt, but not as secure.
Being that the code is written in the guest book, I’m lead to believe that every prior tenant knows the code.
All that being said, I gave it 5 stars because i would stay here again and it is valued properly.

This place was perfect for us. Everything was as advertised, and Bill and Janet couldn't have been better hosts. Beds were very comfortable. Our daughters did Maui Wave Riders surf lessons - ask for Andrew - great guy! Also ate at Tiki Lounge which was a short walk and rented snorkel gear from Aloha Snorkel. Lastly, the best coffee shop atmosphere ever is a block away at the Da Green Coffee Cafe - its outdoor seating is in a nursery garden. Fabulous experience - thanks!

The apartment was in a great location with waterfront views, as listed. Bill and Janet provided ample directions on many aspects of staying at the apartment and they provided a great deal of information in advance. Check-in turned out to be an hour later than listed, which disrupted our plans. It would have been nice to communicate in advance as we needed to move our itinerary around a bit upon arrival. We couldn't reach Bill during that time. Communication shortcomings aside, we really enjoyed the place, it was clean, well-organized, and straightforward to park and get in/out of. Bill and Janet also provided tons of towels and stuff for ocean activities. We would stay here again! Mahalo Bill and Janet!

Everything was perfect as many have stated already - couldn’t have asked for a better location, we’ve stayed in Lahaina area previously and prefer the low key vibe, easy access to so many beaches and up country/north shore. We visited more than seven beaches in our seven day stay plus up country and Lahaina excursions enjoying the provisions of chairs and coolers daily. Easy booking, communication and check in/out. Thank you for sharing your beautiful location and making it so easy, accessible and enjoyable. Four adults were comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy meals in, and the beautiful area with picnics and quick stops back at the place mid day to refresh before heading back out. So much goodness about this location.

My wife and I stayed for two nights. This condo is located right across from the ocean. The view is beautiful, lots of local restaurants nearby, and only 20 minutes to the airport. We would definitely recommend this place to stay.

The location is perfect - Groceries, restaurants, kid-friendly beach, rentals, shave ice, sunsets are all steps away.
Great amenities - unit had everything we needed for light cooking, laundry, beach sundries like boogie boards and chairs. And a pineapple corer/slicer so you can have pineapple every day!
Beds were great! I think I may try to get the same mattress in the loft. Super comfortable.
Bill and Janet were very helpful with tips for our first Maui trip. Every message was accompanied by beautiful photographs that fueled the anticipation for our visit. Responses were immediate and information provided was comprehensive and complete.

Perfect ocean view and no need for ac as you get a great cross breeze. The stairs to the loft are super steep so it’s tricky to carry luggage up but if your careful, it can be done! Umbrellas were both broken so we didn’t not get to use those but had chairs and coolers that were handy! Sand toys and boogie boards were there too tho we didn’t have kids so we didn’t use them. Overall a great place!

Location Location Location !! My wife, our little guy and I have just returned from a wonderful slice of Heavan on Earth and this place helped bring it into our lives. Everything is within walking distance as the shops, food, park and of course the beach and waves are all very near by and the view of the Ocean and Whales jumping in the water was a constant. The place was very well kept and stocked with so many goodies that it really felt like Home for us. The bed was comfy, towels soft and hospitality was all through this gem so ofcourse we definatley recommend for others and shall find our way back in the future.....thank you for sharing !!!

An AMAZING place to stay...Mr. Bill and Miss Janet are wonderful owners that are pleasant and easy to talk to...we have stayed at their condo numerous times and each time just gets better and better. There are many items and books in their condo to peruse while planning your days...I love the view it is spectacular! location is GREAT...walking distance to ABC, Foodland, Kam 1. The appliances are modern and their cleaning lady is a hoot! Very friendly and knows the island well. We hope to go back soon!

This unit delivers! It has all the comforts, without the crowds of a large resort. When talking with some local folks, they were surprised we found such a great place; a quiet 16-unit building with awesome people. Some fellow Alaskans were even staying in the unit below us! The downpour on our last day in Kihei reminded us of how much we truly (deep down) love the rain. Bill & Janet are wonderful to work with. WOW is all I can really say to describe this amazing Condo. Upon arrival we walked into paradise. The condo was Spotless, cozy, warm and inviting and full of everything we needed. The grounds were very well kept and super friendly neighbors and not to mention VERY quiet. The live in Helper at the complex Paula was OUTSTANDING!!! Always willing to offer a helping hand even when we locked ourselves out of our bathroom LOL.. The Owners Bill and Janet were super easy to work with, always kept in touch sending us beautiful pictures in email to help get us excited for our trip. I loved waking up each morning to the best View in maui and watching the Boat club boats launch out in the evenings right off our Lanai . The beach was steps from our door, Pool beautiful and relaxing to swim in each evening and the location could have never been more perfect , walking distance to all the shops and stores and our favorite place to get shaved ice for dessert each night. I HIGHLY recommend this Condo, I can't wait to come back and will ONLY book this one again just knowing how perfect it fit all our needs. We loved staying in this condo. It has a great location right across from Cove Park. The condo is only a block or two from everything, Foodland, restaurants, shopping, and Charley Young/Kam 1 beach. It was great having so much in walking distance especially for our teenagers.
The inside of the condo is furnished nicely and both the kitchen and bathroom are very nicely updated. The beds are also very comfortable. There is air conditioning units in the living room and master bedroom along with ceiling fans which cooled the unit nicely. There is also a full size stackable washer and dryer in the unit so we packed light and did laundry. I also have to mention that this unit was so clean, even the insides of the cupboards and closets.
The lanai was small but had room for two people to sit out and watch the waves, sunsets, and everyone out enjoying it. There is a small gas grill on the lanai which we used most days. The swimming pool is solar heated and very clean, the few times we used it we had it all to ourselves.
Overall this condo is an excellent deal. You cannot beat the price for the oceanfront location and accommodations. We will be back!

Just completing a 12 day stay. The unit was clean, comfortable and had a wonderful ocean view and breezes. We had four adults for part of the trip and it is a little tight with that many people but definitely do-able. The owners maintain this unit to the max and are awesome to deal with. The stairs are a little steep if you have problems with climbing stairs but other than that, this place is a great deal and we so loved our stay. This is our sixth trip to Maui and cannot wait to return again.

My wife and I, along with our eldest adult daughter, stayed at the cond from Aug 7 to 17/10. This clean, well kept condo was everything as described, and the owners kept in close contact with us, before and after our vacation to ensure everything was in order. The condo is within walking distance of beaches, restaurants, bars, grocery stores and a rental shop, for surf equipment and lessons, is next door. We used this central location for day trips all over the island and enjoyed having the parking space right behind the condo. The maps and brochures provided in the condo were great. Make sure you also take advantage of all the beach accessories provided, ie the chairs, mats, umbrellas, and coolers - we appreciated these and used them. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai early in the morning, having breakfast, and watching the surf crowd get started each day and then enjoying a drink in the evenings watching the beach volleyball games and shoreline fishing. Try the BBQ, as it works like a charm. The washer and dryer were easy to use, and were used. We took our laptop and the connections worked with no problem- next time we will hook up the printer and print off our boarding passes in advance. For sure we will come back. Tks

We stayed at this lovely condo April 26th to May 11th 2010 had had a simply wonderful time. The owners have equipped their condo with everything you need to simple just sit back and enjoy paradise. They went way above and beyond our expectations to make our stay marvelous. The reservation process was effortless and went very smooth. The condo complex is well kept by the on site caretakers. The location is second to none, close to shopping and restaurants and right across the street from the beach. The sunsets were spectacular. The pool was refreshing and for the most part it was ours alone. We had the opportunity to meet the owners and they are fantastic people. Can't wait to get back to Maui and specifically this condo in the Kihei Parkshore hopefully in Oct/Nov this year. We would highly recommend this rental to anyone who is looking to spend time in the Kihei area. We just can't say enough.

We spent a week in this unit in early March with our daughter, son-in-law and 18 month old grandson. It was fabulous, an excellent location and fully equiped unit, we could not have asked for better value for the dollar. The owners will go above and beyond to accomodate any requests, they are amazing. Would return to this unit in a heartbeat!
