Konea 609 is an expansive 2 bedroom ocean view suite at Honua Kai. It's 6th floor location offers stunning ocean views – high enough to avoid the palm tree blockage that affects lower floors. This prime interior Konea Tower location is one of the most sought after areas of the entire Honua Kai property.
This two bedroom ocean view suite can accommodate up to six guests in two (2) king sized beds and one (1) queen sized convertible sofa sleeper sofa. Set in the serenity of the Konea Tower interior, 'injoy' a lush tropical feel with spectacular ocean views.
As one of the largest two bedroom floor plans at the resort, this suite boasts a spacious 1315 sq. ft. within, as well as abundant sixth floor ocean views. The Konea Tower is characteristically known as the calmer & more relaxing environment of the two Honua Kai towers, hence Konea 609 offers a peaceful respite from the busy lives that vacationers are eager to leave behind on the mainland.
We encourage you to express your culinary creativity in the well-appointed kitchen. The space is fully equipped with stainless steel Bosch appliances and granite countertops, and we have provided every appliance & utensil to prepare the perfect meal or refreshment…just bring the ingredients. Enjoy your meals on the spacious lanai or dine indoors in the climate controlled air conditioning. In addition, our commercial grade Vitamix blender lends itself well to preparing creative libations or smoothies with fresh local produce.
If you wish to avoid excessive baggage fees from the airlines, consider packing lighter and utilizing the washer and dryer in the suite.

Other than frequently finding the associated parking deck full, the property was as good as advertised. Very clean with modern appliances & furniture along with a very large balcony overlooking the ocean. I would highly recommend the property to anyone and would most definitely stay there again.

This is our second time this at the Honua Kai and it did not disappoint. The condo is fabulous and spacious. The balcony doors and view are gorgeous. My only complaint is the dryer does not work well at all. Very small problem in the scheme of things and Maui resort rentals was on it immediately to get it fixed. Great experience with them as well. I would definitely rent this property again.

We've stayed in many places on Maui and this property is well positioned to meet the needs of families. I found it less desirable for adult groups but it was still very pleasant. The grounds and common areas are immaculate. I wish it would have been easier to rent a cabana (sold out over a month in advance) or get a lounge chair near the pool, but we managed and it was fine. The beach in front of the resort had a steep drop off so maybe not ideal for little children but great for older kids and families who want to swim.
My only complaint was the condition of the unit itself. The carpet is in desperate need of replacement and it feels dirty at all times. There isn't a vacuum in the unit so it just gets worse during your stay. The guest toilet developed a leak during our stay but to the management company's credit, they had someone out immediately to make repairs. I was very impressed with their service, and their service recovery.
