The unobstructed ocean views are amazing, and the sounds of the ocean are very relaxing. We loved the pool area with both family and adult only hot tubs. There were several waterfalls and 2 slides, it was a lot of fun! Parking was very convenient to our unit. The onsite restaurant was very good with an excellent staff. We'd definitely stay here again!

My husband and i and another couple stayed here. The check in and out was super easy. Loved that we didn’t have to keep track of keys and just used codes. Beds were comfy. Kitchen was well equipped. This was the perfect home base for our island adventure. We were kinda in the middle of everything and it wasn’t too far to either side of the island. We didn’t hangout at the resort much but we loved the hot tubs at night and the sunrise on the beach in the morning. Loved the washer and dryer. Really zero complaints about the accommodations. The location was good and the shave ice across the street is the best on the island (we tried them all). 10/10.

Highly recommend this condo! The property is great and the view is amazing. Small beach, but enough to get your feet in the sand and ocean. Located close to a grocery store, shopping and restaurants and convenient to both the north and south shores. The fully stocked condo has everything you would need for your stay. The condo was just as described in the listing. The beach was perfect! I thought the 4th of July week would be hectic but the whole place was quiet and peaceful. The location was great as well. Safeway across the street and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. We booked our excursions ahead of time and did not use the concierge service. If we ever return to Kauai, we would stay here again.

We had a great experience last year and returned this year to enjoy the beautiful location and ocean breezes and sounds. I went to book for 2024 when I was making arrangements and almost fell out of my chair. There was a 40% increase in rent for 2024 which to me is absolutely appalling. I know rent will probably increase however 4x the rate of inflation is absurd and I felt really like I was getting raked over the coals. The property manager apologized and said it was the new system they installed and that's what the system called for. I wished her luck in getting new renters that weren't aware of previous rental history but this guy wasn't going to pay that coming off of last year's rates. Perhaps the rental rates will be more in line so I just found another property manger that had more reasonable rates and booked with them. You will enjoy this unit for sure but it's not for me right now.

We chose this ocean front unit (and paid a premium price for that feature) to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Upon arrival there were several maintenance issues that we immediately noticed.
Our primary concern was the ripped/torn screen door in the master bedroom. We wanted an ocean front unit so that we could enjoy the sound of the waves at night and have the cool sea breeze blowing into our room. The lack of a functioning screen door took that feature completely away. We immediately left a voice message for the management company (REMAX) and when they called back were informed that they knew about the screen door issue, but there was nothing that could be done about it due to a lack of supplies/labor on the island. Replacing the screen in a screen door is a pretty simple process and I’m not happy that we couldn’t have an open screen door the the entire week we were here.
We followed up with a text message to the management company after a couple of days and never received a reply.
In addition to the torn screen door in the master bedroom, the entire screen door from the living room to the lanai was out of the frame and propped up against a wall on the lanai.
We never could get floor and table lamps in the living room to turn on/off.
The coffee maker in the kitchen has mold/mildew growing in it and we had to rely on Starbucks across the street.
Last, but not least, the front door to the unit would not easily close/open. It appears the door is warped.

I really liked the inside of the property. There were just a few items that dropped the score. 1. The air conditioner was so loud and was on 4 min off for 2 min all day and all night. 2. There was construction 50 feet from our balcony so had to listen to Jack hammering half the stay...just wish we were informed there would be construction. 3. This one is not on the owner at all...but I paid a lot of money for the ocean front view and about 12 of the trees were cut down to stubs.

Had a wonderful stay in this property with our family. This was our third and final island to experience on our vacation. I am glad we saved this place for last as nothing else could measure up! Our three kids (ranging from 12-17) all enjoyed the pool and the beach on the property. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to visit Kauai!

The beds are comfortable, the rooms and bathrooms are great with extra shampoo/conditioner/cleaning supplies provided, the kitchen is huge, the shower water pressure is excellent. The view from the balcony is the die for, the beach is quiet and great for finding sea glass. The waterslides are fun for kids and grown ups and the rest of the pool area is clean, well taken care of and assisted by nice staff supplying you with fresh towels and wristbands. Only a few small things we noticed: the dishwasher is showing some age and doesn't clean that well unless you rinse everything off completely, the frontloader washing machine has a little mold around the rubber gasket, the unit wasn't cleaned the best when we arrived (sand behind chairs, kitchen counter top dirty with coffee grinds). The Remax staff were quick to get back to me with questions and concerns. Would return in a heartbeat!! Location is central to all sides of the island, perfect for day trips any and everywhere. Directly across the street from the Safeway shopping center with a Ross, Starbucks, kids arcade, Wailua Shave Ice and lots more.

This condo was nice & relatively affordable (for Kauai). There were some basic kitchen staples, which was unusual & welcome. Since this resort is all individually-owned units, there are no resort activities. The pool is good & was never crowded, but the water could be a little warmer. I really wish they allowed floaties & pool toys to make it more fun, but it seems like all of these POA properties create a bunch of rules like this. We probably won’t stay at POA-managed resorts anymore because of the rules that detract from the fun and the lack of activities and on-site food options (the only restaurant just serves dinner).

We had a great time. This is our second visit to this resort. The grounds are a wonderful garden in and of itself, beautifully maintained, in particular around the lagoon area. We would definitely go back. There was a lot of maintenance going on, it seemed like maybe still catching up from COVID.

This condo complex is conveniently located next to a shopping center and walkable to a variety of restaurants. The pool is amazing. From the condo you get a perfect sunrise view. Few people seem to be in the water at the beach in front of the property, but it looked safe enough while we were there. There are other decent beaches within a short drive. Having a 2 BR 2 BA condo with full kitchen is very convenient for families. The deck is useful for storing and drying beach gear. No problem with parking here. The only complaint about the particular unit I rented is the living room couch was uncomfortable to sit on and watch TV for a couple hours to wind down the night.

Overall great experience. Property was amazing. Perfect location close to shops and plenty of restaurants. Amazing view of ocean from living room and kitchen.
Only complaint is the furniture in the main living area. It’s worn and pretty uncomfortable. It can definitely use an upgrade. And minor complaint but we only received 2 hand towels for 4 people for the week. I’d throw in one for each person at least.
Other than those minor issues, I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Good location, easy to get to and from the airport. Across the street from a Safeway, Starbucks and shave ice place. Nice layout with bathrooms and bedrooms on each side of the living area. The main TV has burned out spots so should be replaced. Main room furniture is pretty worn. Back closet had beach items (skim boards and beach chairs).

This property has a lot going for it. Not far from the airport and allows you to hit the north side and south side with manageable drives. It is right near the grocery store and a number of restaurants and shopping. The pool area is very nice and great for kids. It was a shame that the pool bar still remains closed. The beach here is ok, lots of surf and wind being the east shore. Overcast many days. We heading to Poipu 2 days when it was completely overcast here and had great weather. As for the condo, it is nice size and amble bathroom space (3 toilets). Biggest complaint is the AC was on 65 when we walked in with fans running. We never touched the AC over 5 days and I don’t think the condo got cooler than 75 at any point. Temps outside were 85. So, maybe AC is in its last legs. Condo again is great and plenty of pots and supplies to cook with. I’d stay here again.

A vacation where family gets together is always nice. The weather didn't cooperate for outdoor activities so we spent a lot of time inside. A couple of comments. Because six people could sleep there - the seating didn't accommodate that number of guests. There is one sofa (2/3 people) and one chair - not including dining room chairs which are uncomfortable after a while. The table on the lanai off one bedroom was falling apart and when we arrived there were pieces from the table all over the lanai. The window covers kept coming off the track and one of the small side covers wouldn't close. The bedroom with the larger lanai had electrical outlets that need repair and of the 3 lamps in the room - only one could be plugged in and it was a very dim lamp. The bathroom lights had all different types of bulbs in them - aesthetically it looked odd and inconsistent. The grounds were very nice - the pool was lovely and the children's pool area was good. There are slides at the pool which were fun but would have been nice to be able to put a little one in your lap and slide down. Lots of slide rules.... Grocery stores and restaurants were nearby and easy to access. The room did have quite a few pool toys which was also very nice. The kitchen was quite nice and I liked the smaller sized dishwasher so we always had clean dishes.

Thw Waipouli Beach Resort has a magnificent beach front location in Kapaa, Kauai. The Apartment G-306 looks straight out on the shore line over manicured lawns. The photos of the complex and the pool sold us on this location and it was very much as imaged. The pool is just like the photo! The apartment was spacious and well provisioned. It was clear to us the owners wanted guests to enjoy their stay. The Re/Max management team were very responsive and their pre-arrival service is excellent. Everything as expected. We found a few very minor maintenence issues which we brought up after our stay and I have every confidence they will attend to these. Friendly and engaging. Kapaa itself is well placed on the island and within striking distance of both the northern beaches and the southern activity centres. We did the Smith's Family luau (very close), ATV adventure and Pali Coast boat tour, all South of Kapaa.We also found an online narrated driving tour of the northern beaches which was fun. We would recommend and will also come back.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon in this beautiful condo G306. It was the perfect location. We were across the street from the grocery store, ice cream, ABC Store, lemongrass grill and a cute little bar. The view from the property is oceanfront and gorgeous. Our remax concierge was great and hooked us up with the best ziplining we have ever done and an in room massage. We hung out at the huge pool(that has slides)!!It rained a lot, so we ran outside every sunny moment to enjoy. We ate at The bar on the property three times and really enjoyed it. The bed and pillows were really comfortable. There is an Italian restaurant up the street called Bobby V’s that was so good. The screen in the bedroom was ripped at the bottom and it’s probably time for a new coffee maker, other than that it is a beautiful condo in the perfect oceanfront spot. Thank you

This property is oceanfront and is a deluxe two bedroom three bath unit. It is hard to decide which bathroom/bedroom is the master. The kitchen was well equipped though we would have loved an Instapot and a pair of kitchen shears. There was the bonus of a spice cabinet here with such spices a the salt and pepper, but onion and garlic powder fish seasonings and sauces like soy. The pool is a river pool and also has a zero entry area for kids with a sand bottom for increasing depth level for toddlers with a wall to prohibit the kids from getting into deeper waters. There is a restaurant on site. The management company was very helpful and next year we will use them again. Angela is a responsive manger and has a good team back up. The location in very convenient to the grocery store and also easy to get to the north side or south side of the island if you want a central location. We could hear the surf of the ocean to lull us to sleep. The lights need attention as there was a mix of soft white and daylight bulbs and the torn linens need to be replaced. I am sure once the owner finds out that will be addressed for such a lovely property. I never would have expected a tattered pillow case or stained pillow cover in what is normally a high end establishment. I would stay there again and hope the owners check in with their management team.

You can't miss with this choice. Location is perfect with sweeping, stunning views of the sea from both bedrooms and kitchen/dining/ living room. Often a master bedroom is much nicer than the second bedroom, but here both were great. Condo is in excellent condition, very clean and kitchen well equipped. Property management is very helpful, answering any requests promptly and to our satisfaction. Resort staff was also super and welcoming.We plan to return for a much longer stay!
