Kahana Reef - #322: Completely captivated is how guests will feel when they gaze upon the view from their private lanai. Watch the clouds float above the neighboring island as you enjoy coffee at your table for two.

Your chef will not miss out on the ocean views while breakfast is prepared in the full kitchen. The kitchen has updated appliances to include a full fridge, microwave, coffeepot, toaster, and dishwasher. Guests can easily sit at the two bar stools in the kitchen or unwind in the living room on one of two tropical-themed couches. Everyone can catch up on the latest news and shows on flat-screen cable television. Behind a couch is the murphy bed that can sleep up to two guests.

The charming main bedroom has a flat-screen television and a comfortable bed, perfect after a day of adventure. The bathroom has a shower/tub and comes with towels for the convenience of guests. This condo sleeps up to four guests.

Nearby beaches include:
1. Kahana Beach: Located within steps of the property is a location to snorkel and swim when the waters are calm. The reef protects swimmers from strong currents.
2. Pohaku Park: This is within proximity and offers views of other islands. Occasionally, turtles are seen from the shoreline.

We had trouble checking in with an incorrect code supplied which caused us some initial stress as it was out of hours on a Sunday. Our first impression was of the fantastic view and sunset which we enjoyed throughout our stay. The condo is somewhat outdated and could benefit from some modernization and new amenities provided. We were comfortable throughout our stay and it is a good location to local stores for food options. More information from the property owner upfront would have been useful (e.g. where to find the parking permit). Overall we were happy enough.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Generally good overall. Owners may consider fixing the lanai screen so it closes, and add a can opener. All in all the location was great and the unit had most everything needed.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been to Kahana Reef 4 times. This unit was the worst. It is poorly constructed inside, especially the kitchen. The unit was filthy. Bathroom and kitchen rugs had not been cleaned or even shaken. Dishes in the cupboard were dirty. The binoculars were broken. The screen door on the lanai would not shut,(picture attached) neither door would lock. The dishwasher did not work. The tub area needs to be completely redone. The microwave is too high. The drawer under the oven was filthy. The doors on the closet were filthy. We were very disappointed in the condition of this unit. No screen door on the main door to get air flow. Kitchen silverware and dishware was minimal. There was no can opener. The vents in the bathroom (picture attached)and kitchen were filthy and unhealthy. Many of these things were reported to Chasen Rainbows immediately. Nothings was fixed. There were no unit instructions.
