We enjoyed royal kahanna even with the ongoing construction noise. As were gone most days seeing the island. It was a little loud in the mornings but we are early risers. We saw whale everyday all day from the balconey. Would definitely stay agin but woul go for a corner unit facing south to see the sunsets

We had an excellent stay at the Royal Kahana! Staff were friendly and the room was big and very clean. We had everything we needed. Building was older, but our room was completely updated. The ocean views are incredible!! We also liked the location. Less than 10 minutes to Ka’anapali and Napili and Kapalua. Would stay here again!

The unit was as expected and the view was exceptional. Turtles were easily spotted throughout the day from the lanai. Our unit was decorated in with a classy theme and very clean. We enjoyed our stay.

We had an incredible time in Maui. The rental was exactly as described. There are no words to adequately describe how awesome it was. Wonderful to hear the sound of the ocean day and night, see whales jumping and sea turtles swimming and all from the lanai/balcony!The location was excellent. Lahaina was a short 10 to 15 minutes drive. We easily traveled to the North side of the island and to the South side. Condo had everything we needed. Only sad part was leaving to come home.

The property was well decorated, had fabulous views and was very clean. We saw whales, dolphins, sharks and turtles from the lanai. The beach was accessible by a 5 minute walk up the road. The property manager clearly communicated what was provided. Bring your own bath soap/wash. We would have liked some cleaning supplies to be provided but otherwise it was a lovely stay.

The condo was wonderful. We were able to watch whales while drinking coffee and eating banana bread on the lanai. The furnishings are all updated and the bed was very comfortable. We had a incredible first time visit to Maui. Hope to return!

We stayed here for 9 days in whale season (Dec-2022). You can see turtles, whales sprouting from the balcony and get nice views. The property location is 5 star as it is close to Kapalua, Lahaina market but there were some issues:1. Due to Maui county drought, there was lot of water problem and this being a 12th floor condo had water problems for the last 4 days of our stay. Water didn't come for the last 4 days of the stay. It was very difficult 4 days if you have kids as well. The property management has to think about this issue in the future so it doesn't ruin the expensive vacation.2. The master bedroom bed was shaking the day we checked in and after 3 days the support broke and bed sagged in the middle. This was repaired by the condo owner same day and we never had any issue afterwards. In general, there wasn't any issue with other kitchen or other furniture.

This is a very nice condo with very nice amenities. A couple of suggestions for future patrons: 1. The remote for the air conditioning (the small one I believe) Not sure how to use the thing. Perhaps a guide would be great! Lack of lights in the living room and dining area. Also, could not get the light inside the doorway to go on? TV remotes are not the easiest to use.....perhaps if entire system could be put onto one, it would be easier. Also, due to the proximity of both TV's, when the bedroom TV was turned on, often the one in the living room went on at the same time.

This was our first time to visit Maui. Enjoyed the condo’s location on the beach and to all that Lahaina has to offer. The condo itself had everything we needed for our comfort and meals in. We really enjoyed turtle watching from the lanai.

We loved this condo - the amazing view, the beach and pool areas, good location...it really had everything we wanted to make our stay on Maui memorable! The condo is beautifully decorated and fully equipped, we appreciated being able to do laundry in the unit, the full kitchen was great for making breakfast and snacks, spacious layout, good sofa bed for our teenager, great lanai with spectacular view. The beach was wonderful and we enjoyed snorkeling right from the shore (quite a thrill to see a sea turtle underwater!) The pool was never too crowded and we always managed to find a spot in the shade. The whole resort was pleasant, relaxing, convenient, and not too busy. We had two small issues that were rectified quickly by CBIV (previous renters had fed the birds so the lanai needed to be cleaned of bird droppings, and the hand towel rack needed to be better secured to the wall). There were two air conditioning units that we didn't even use that often because the ocean breezes kept us comfortable. We would definitely stay there again!

Our family had a wonderful vacation to Maui! We stayed at the Royal Kahana unit 1207. We loved the view from the lanai and being on the top floor. The unit had everything we needed. We knew that it was a one bedroom with a pullout for our family of 4 so we were not surprised that the space was a little tight at times. This was to be expected with our 2 adult children staying with us but was not a huge issue as the unit was very spacious. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. Everything was super clean and looked new. The Royal Kahana complex is older but the unit looked updated. We also liked having the 2 beach chairs and insulated soft cooler for our beach time. They even had ice packs for us to use in the freezer. This was the perfect home base for us as we explored the island. The pool and beach areas were great for our relaxation time. We also loved playing shuffleboard by the pool area. Although we did not use the grill, the grill area was nice and saw others grilling out. The grills were well maintained and clean. Our kids used the fitness center everyday which was so nice to have available on site which many condos do not have. The staff there were very friendly and helpful. We appreciated the parking and security there and never felt unsafe. We walked to many stores and restaurants and did jogs in the area. The staff at Coldwell Banker Island Vacations were very helpful from booking to checkout. They checked in with us before, during and after our stay. We highly recommend them!!! Would love to go back someday!!!

We had lovely stay! You simply cannot beat the view - it was breathtaking. Watching the ocean & sunset from the balcony was one of the highlights of our trip. The unit was extremely clean, stocked, beautifully decorated and well maintained. We had an issue with the AC but management was incredibly responsive and made sure we were taken care of. Bonus points that a great coffee shop was a two minute walk away.

This was our first time to Maui and we were so fortunate to find this beautiful condo. The location in Kahana is so perfect because you are 5-7 minutes from Lahaina which is South of the Condo. Then going North you are 5 mins from Napali Beach. The condo was in great condition, very clean and the view on the 12th floor was epic. Sunsets every night from our Lanai and the windows offer a great breeze that cools the condo down so you don't need to turn on the air. We had a couple questions for the host and they literally got back to us in minutes. The only down fall is the is not really a beach in front of the Royal Kahana Building (that is where the condo is) but they do have a great pool area. You can walk though maybe 2 mins over to the Sands of Kahana and they have a beautiful beach there. We thought the condo was perfect for us and I truly hope we can come back soon. They do provide beach chairs & beach towels which was a nice amenitie.Highly recommend this condo.
