This place exceeded our expectations. The condo is very well designed and the resort is beautifully landscaped. The condo was comfortable for our 5-night stay in Maui. We are a family of three and our teenage son slept on the sleeper sofa. The bathroom is spacious and has a wonderful shower and a bath tub. The kitchen has an open layout and has a nice island and seating for three. The kitchen wares were not of great quality and a few items (can opener for example) were missing. With that said we would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

For a studio lots of room. Everything you need to enjoy the island was there. Walking distance to amenities (shopping center, restaurants and food trucks). Love this complex and location.

We had a wonderful stay at this condo in Maui. It was very clean and furnished well. We had everything we needed. The view was great and the resort is very nice.

Great building that is very quiet at night. Our unit had a comfortable bed and fully equipped kitchen. The resort had many winding pools that did not seem crowded. The beach was beautiful but had rocks and coral offshore. The unit had problems with the water heater, but owner fixed the water heater. Overall we had a wonderful 10 days in the unit.

The property was as advertised. The lanai had a view of the beach and ocean. Magnificent sunset views. Shady lanai in the morning, perfect for coffee and soaking in the view or just reading the news. The pools were not too crowded and the grandchildren loved the water slide and waterfalls. The condo had a chemical like odor when we arrived but dissipated over the week. Noticeable upon arrival but not noticeable after a few minutes. We would book this condo again.

When we arrived the unit was mostly clean. The primary issues with the unit resulted from the overwhelming mold and mildew smell that remained throughout our visit. Everything door had to remain open each night of our stay because of the mildew issues. Our visit could have been so much better if the owners had ensured the unit was clean and safe for our visit. As it turned out we both had congestive issues by the end of our visit

Very nice studio condo. All a couple needs is in the unit. Clean, well appointed. Beach and pool access are very close and clean. Beach necessities furnished; cooler, chairs, umbrella, boogie boards etc. Wrist band door access is very convenient. Property manager Monty was very attentive when inquired about parking, AC etc. Great views from the balcony. Duke's restaurant on site is very good and they offer pool service. We would stay here again some day.

This was truly an amazing property to stay at. Great location, beach, pool, waterslides, beach gear provided. Room had amazing ocean views and sunsets. Property manager checked in with us throughout our stay. Check in and check out instructions were provided. Would definitely go back!

I strongly rely on the reviews on properties for my VRBO decision making. I will say that this property, along with the owner, Harvey, and the manager Monty met ALL of our expectations and more! We loved it!
I especially loved the detail in the communication that was sent prior to our stay. Simple things like where to part in the garage for the best unload was much appreciated! The unit was exceptionally clean and provided everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Even these two 65 year old grandparents made use of the snorkel gear provided to enjoy a morning at the beach. We drove one block south to Kahekili Beach Park where we had seen lots of people snorkeling while on previous walk on the boardwalk. We also enjoyed two meals at Dukes on the property and made use of the property grocery store for misc. items. (Safeway in Lahaina was a great stop on the way in from the airport).
All that to say, it was a real treat! Thank you to Harvey and Monty for the timely communications!

This is a very comfortable apartment in Kapaali Beach, a great base to travel round the island. The condo was clean and comfortable and well equipped for 2 people. The resort is great place to relax.

Our stay at Honua Kai was wonderful. The condo was clean and updated, and the views couldn’t be better! We would definitely recommend it and hope we can make it back here again. The condo is also walking distance to a food truck park and small grocery store - very convenient.

My new husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon trip. Great property with many amenities. Room itself provided beach chairs, cooler, beach towels, snorkel gear, boogie board and umbrella. Everything you need for a beach day! Property had wonderful pools and even a quiet one for adults. There was also a small convenient store downstairs and Dukes restaurant within walking distance. Balcony offered beautiful view and seating. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at the Honua Kai numerous times and love the property. This was our first time in a Studio and it was perfect for my wife and I. This unit was clean and in great condition. It was nicely furnished with a beautiful ocean view and we couldn’t have asked for more. I would highly recommend this unit and I would absolutely rent from these owners again. We came to Hawaii for the very first time. I chose this property as it was close to a conference for work that I was attending. The location overall was fantastic. Convenient to a variety of beaches as well as nearby restaurants and also a grocery store. Getting around the island from this location is very easy. The condo was extremely clean, and well stocked. The supplies in the kitchen were great. Our group was myself, and 2 of my kids. 2 of us slept in the bed, and one on the pullout couch, which she reported was perfectly comfortable. Very well enjoyed trip, and would highly recommend this condo.

This place exceeded my expectations. I just lucked out when finding it! Beautiful ocean view! Beautiful property with lots of pool options for the kiddos. The beach is maybe a 5 minute walk from this front door. There is a store downstairs and Duke’s Restaurant which also serves at the pool. The place was very clean. My kiddos shared the pull out bed. There were beach chairs, boogie boards and I believe an ice chest. We cannot wait to return! Thanks for sharing your beautiful place with us.

If you are looking for a studio condo, look twice at this one! We experienced an immaculate condo upon our arrival. My first text when we landed was from our local representative, Monty, who was great about checking that everything was fine for our stay. The condo kitchen has every implement you could want, including two coffee makers (Keurig and drip). The hall closet is stocked for all sorts of beach fun (toys, boogie boards, cooler, chairs, etc) which we appreciated since we were exploring many of the beaches on the island. Our VRBO host Harvey had communicated with us promptly before our stay and I appreciated how thorough his information is for his visitors. Everything has been thought of so you can relax and enjoy the island. The complex is lovely with many pools to choose from. There are many families enjoying their holidays here. My only wish would be that the management honor their own signage and not allow folks to block public chaises for their personal use later, but that's a common poolside issue. We hope to be back which is the best recommendation I can give!

Always above expectations, the addition of the store on the main floor since our last visit is a plus. I think having Honua Kai add valet parking would be a huge benefit and addition. I would pay for that, there is not enough parking in the UG and waste time circling to find a spot. To have valet Parker your vehicle would be helpful.

We had a wonderful time. It was great staying at a hotel but in a condo …. Best of both worlds.
Great view from the room, we sat on the balcony every night with wine and listened to the ocean. It was so great to have a kitchen so we didn’t have to go out for every meal.
And the condo comes with all the beach gear you need! We would definately stay here again!

We stayed in this property for 5 nights and I cannot recommend it enough! The actual unit was clean and well looked after. Had all the amenities needed for a long stay. The balcony had a great view of the pool and beach and we were able to watch the sunset from the balcony. You’re just a super super short walk to the beach. There’s also two pools that are beautifully shaded with palm trees and has a cool lazy river and a slide that was really fun to ride!
All in all it was a great property and for our first trip to hawaii it was a great stay! The host was also super responsive to any needs we had and had the unit well stocked with beach chairs and an umbrella.
10 out of 10 would stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a stay in Maui

We loved our stay at 415 Konea! We appreciated the snorkel gear, reading books, and fully appointed kitchen. The ocean view off the lanai was beautiful and we took full advantage of it by eating many meals outside! We also were happy with the corner location of the unit that didn’t get blasted with the afternoon sun. If you stay here you will certainly have a great stay!

We rented this unit to celebrate my wife’s retirement. The description of the unit was spot on and absolutely perfect. What impressed us even more was the constant communication leading up to the stay with Harvey the owner and Monty the manager. Both answered all our questions and concerns immediately and professionally. My wife and I strongly recommend renting this unit to others without any hesitation.
